Excellent new spot!!!! My family and I wanted to try this new Thai spot on S King St and it has definitely surpassed expectations!!! We did take out and we dug right in: summer rolls, pad thai, pad see ew, red curry noodles, papaya salad, red curry, and sticky rice. All were delicious! I particularly enjoyed the red curry noodles and the pad see ew. For the red curry noodles, the broth had great flavor and the rice noodles were so easy to eat. The pad see ew was well cooked & seasoned well with a nice spiciness to it (which was requested; you can adjust your spice if you want). The chow fun noodles were fat and juicy! Lots of (well-cooked) veggies too. This will be a new go-to spot for us!!!

This is a new Thai place on King St. which just opened Jan 2025Street parking is easiest I ordered three items:1. Pad Kee Mau Noodles2. Tom Ka Soup3. Panang CurryWith chicken for each the total was $45 ($15 each)Interestingly they did not ask for the spice level. Regular rice was included with the curry. There was no option for sticky rice that was mentioned. The soup was the winner. Flavors were great and the ingredients were authentic. The noodles weren't bad at all and it was a generous amount which filled the entire container. The real disappointment was the curry which was watery, didn't have enough veggies, and tasted like it was made from the same paste you can get in Chinatown. I will be coming here again. I won't be getting a curry.

Dinner in Honolulu, Hawaii...We were looking on our Yelp apps for somewhere to eat and found Thai Grindz & Laos Cuisine - on the left side of King Street. We found free metered street parking because it was after 6:30pm. We didn't have reservations, but luckily, there was an empty table in the cozy, clean restaurant.I ordered Summer Rolls because I know that they won't be spicy and they're relatively healthy. Even the peanut sauce was tasty! There was a jar of chopped peanuts amongst the bottles of chili sauce and chili oil. I added more peanuts! Yay!Cece ordered Drunken noodles and let me taste some - mmm! Good! Not spicy! She let me take the leftovers home where I finished them off as a midnight snack! Thank you!Overall, it was a great experience. The only thing that could be improved would be the knowledge of the server. He didn't seem to know the menu well and went back and forth to the kitchen to ask questions. However, he was pleasant and polite!I'd go back !

Ready for the grindz...This newbie in McCully has opened it's doors just four days ago ...January 15th I guess right on South King Street next to Wuwei Chong Cuisine so you know that the most convenient parking would be the metered street parking in front which is free on Sundays so I took full advantage of that and decided to give them a visit.Walking in the vibe is nice and simple with three smaller table for four and one long community table for larger or shared seating is nice and so is the menu as they offer just about it all from appetizers to desserts along with smoothies and cane juice is something you don't usually see is a nice option.I ordered the Pad See Ew and as the staff asked about the protein I just wanted veggies only though sadly when I got home to see chicken was disappointing especially if you don't eat meat and I'm not really a chicken fan in noodles as it's a bit dry which is was in this situation though the price is the same it's just not what I wanted and yes that meant less veggies as well.I also ordered the Lao Sausage as a visit from another Thai place from Terry K ordered it and I loved it decided to give it a try here and is served sliced and though not noted also included a large side of rice was a nice surprise and the homemade sausage was so flavorful with the spices and had just a touch of heat was nice and the Pad See Ew not only was made wrong lacked in flavor for my personal preference and was never asked about the spice level as well.Cute place and is a welcome addition to the area and will definitely be back to give other menu options a try maybe their Green Curry and Cane Juice.Thank you!

Tried the green tofu curry while my friend had the papaya salad. The curry was tasty, a tad on the salty side though for my taste buds. Portion was nice and I was able to take 1/2 of it home. Food came out quickly. Service was friendly. Overall great experience.

The food was AMAZING! The most authentic tasting Thai/Laos food on island in my opinion. The service was very warm and friendly. The restaurant cute and neat! Will definitely go back again because this is our new favorite spot for Thai/Laos cuisine!

This charming restaurant is a hidden gem! Having traveled to Thailand multiple times, I've fallen in love with the street food there, and this place comes incredibly close to that authentic Laotian-Thai experience. The flavors are spot on, the portions are generous, and the owner is absolutely wonderful. If you love spicy bold flavors and true authenticity, be sure to ask for the Laotian-style papaya salad--it's the bomb! I'll definitely be returning--and bringing my family along next time!!

I'm so glad we gave this spot a try. The pad Thai, panang curry and pork ribs were tasty. The flavor of each dish was on point! The medium heat was perfect for us. The pork ribs (5 pieces) come with rice and a side salad It didn't look like a lot, but it filled me up and left me feeling oh so satisfied.Their strawberry smoothie was good too. Just a heads up- they don't serve cane juice at the moment. They only have strawberry, mango smoothies and Thai tea for now. I'm already looking for a reason to be back in town so we can do a return visit to Thai Grindz, lol. If you're in the mood for Thai food, I'd highly recommend!

Accidentally discovered this spot as I was walking to an appointment. Instantly yelped it and found good reviews. Was late after the appointment so I decided to order dinner here instead of going home to cook. Did not disappoint. Ordered fried whole fish, green curry, and pho with beef. Every dish is outstanding. The whole fish is not just fish, but also comes with a substantial sauce with cucumber cilantro onion and tomato; the pho has such hearty flavor and the sliced pieces of beef are cooked just right; the curry sauce is not too thick but has great flavors with good amount of bamboo shoots and meat. The gentleman who tended to my order was pleasant and genuine. It won't be too long before I stop by again.
