Teddy's Bigger Burgers - Hawaii Kai

The burgers are always great, service is friendly and the restaurant is clean. Teddy's has fast become my honey's go to burger place!

I stopped by for a number 1 with onion rings early this month and it wasn't as good as I remember it being, the taste was off. I thought I had ordered correctly but there was no tomato (I thought that it came with tomatoes but now I'm not sure). The burger was cooked correctly but I think it was under seasoned. The onion rings as well seemed a little under seasoned. The quality control on the onion rings was lacking, there was one ring that was huge, and it was way over battered, when I bite into it, it was all bread. I was confused by the quality control issue since I was the ONLY customer in the restaurant at the time. If the staff paid a little more attention to what they were doing instead of gossiping about an acquaintances social choices then maybe there would've been consistency. I haven't been to Teddy's Hawaii Kai in ages but still, pay attention.Just a few days ago by brother and his wife went and ordered their usual (they go to another location) and they said there was no issues, taste was fine so maybe I went on an "off day" but for the price they are charging, they need to work on those "off days."I'm hopeful that on my next visit, things turn around.

Pretty good food, especially the umami fries. My kids loved the French fries more than their actual chicken tenders and hamburger. The inside was pretty clean. Service was good, we got our food as quickly as fresh food is made. Yes, there is a sign that it may take longer because of the freshness of them making the items once you order it. One negative: There was a strange man in the back corner that was talking to himself and saying obscene things. Not the best type of person with the words he was saying in front of the kids.

Stopped by to get my early dinner and tried out the 10 oz burger, which turned out to be great. It was very juicy and it was big with great service.

Hubby says he's been eating here since he was a kid - this shop is what is famous for in this plaza. The order and food experience was pretty smooth. Even can fit bento box from another shop. The staff was friendly. The drinks are self-serve. This place is family friendly, as I see a lot of families coming over to occupy the big tables. Inside and outside seating both available.

One of the best burger joints on the island. Burgers cooked to your specific liking. Soft buns packed with so much flavor from their house sauce and juicy patties.

I like that they have a couple of vegan options and that you can order online. This one is not as good as the one in town I go to. It is very hit or miss depending on who is working. Once, they gave me the wrong burger bun when I requested a keiki bun. Another time, the burger was tepid in the middle. Indoor seating and outdoor seating. Parking lot right there.

Their Kīlauea Fire burger is the best thing on the menu. Very flavorful and savory! Customer Service was great and the ambience was wonderful. Definitely recommend coming here!

I ordered the Hawaii Kai and added a grill pinapple. 16.00 is alot for a burger. The burger was like medium and juicy and the juice just made it messy. Would I come back maybe not. The garlic fries looked good though.

Ate at the Moliliili location tonight and they definitely are not like they were when they opened. In the past, the bun was always soft and delicious, tonight it was TOUGH and chewy. Almost sent it back. Also the size of the burger itself has shrunk. Didn't even cover the bun!!! Interestingly enough, my sister and her friend who are visiting here also ate at Teddy's today at the Waikiki location and they said the same thing. Not as good as before and specifically said the burger at the Eagle Cafe on Nimitz is MUCH BETTER than Teddy's. Have to agree w/them. Eagle Cafe has an Awesome burger. Teddy's is no longer the "go to" burger place in Honolulu.
