Teddy's Bigger Burgers - Haleiwa

After finishing my shift as a volunteer stopped to have a late lunch with husband before heading home.Husband ordered a hamburger with onion rings and I had a Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Husband liked his burger and thought the bun was fresh. Onion rings very good right out of fryer.The Grilled Chicken was pretty average, felt it needs more flavor. Was suppose to have garlic on it, didn't taste it. Staff member was friendly talking our order and bringing out to us. Inside was somewhat dark so we sat outside.In Hawaii there are always chickens around, this one on the railing was demanding some of my chicken burger.

Honestly wasn't really expecting much since BTS brought us here. BUT we were pleasantly surprised! Burgers were cooked to perfection and delicious! We ended up ordering the Volcano and the Kailua 7oz and were not disappointed! The tots with cheese, bacon, and jalapeños were amazing as well! Highly recommend! There's also a tiki bar! We happened to come in at happy hour (3-6pm daily) so we tried about 5 of the drinks. They were all amazing and Instagram worthy! Definitely recommend the Pain Killer! Bartender was super friendly as well. Cheers to Tommy!

People all over the world come to Hawaii seeking its beautiful beaches and its aloha spirit, but I come to Hawaii seeking Teddy's burgers. When making a list of places to go on our honeymoon, Teddy's was at the top of the list. I won't overblow the fact that it's a burger joint, but the truth was I had a lot of great memories from the Teddy's in Honolulu the last time I was here and I wanted to share that with my wife. This location, with its tiki bar, had less of Honolulu's old-timey spirit, but the serviec was still fast and the energy was chill. The standard burger and fries were just as I remembered it, more substantial than mainland fast food and with fabulous taste. Worth a stop once you're done with Matsumoto's.

Actually, it was the first time I went to Teddy's in Haleiwa.When I imagined the atmosphere of Teddy's in Waikiki and entered, the restaurant was a completely different world.In other words, I felt very nostalgic in the old Hawaiian style.It was good so far, but anyway, flies broke into the store and flew around.I reconsidered whether anything could be done about them because it was in the countryside.I sat in a spacious seat at the back of the bar counter. Soon after, a triple burger and a side dish were delivered. Annoyingly, flies were buzzing around on our table aiming for the burger.Of course, I was satisfied with the familiar taste and size of Teddy's, which goes without saying. However, even though it was in the store, a large number of flies and the pet dogs brought by customers ran up to the bar counter and moved on the chair one after another, so to be honest, I couldn't eat calmly.We felt that staying for a long time was not welcomed, so we left early. On the way out, there were several empty trash cans with messy lids on the porch, and it was a paradise for flies that I thought they were keeping like pets.Since it's Hawaii, should we think of all the things that live in nature, including flies and animals, as friends... Were we all thinking the same thing in the car on the way home? I became a little silent. If possible, I would like to create an environment where everyone can enjoy a pleasant burger by considering hygiene a little more...実はHaleiwaのTeddy'sに行くのは初めてでした。Waikikiの雰囲気を想像して入ったら、レストランの中は全くの別世界。。。当たり前ですがWaikikiとは違い、オールドハワイスタイルでとてもノスタルジーを感じた事でした。そこまでは良かったのですが、とにかくハエが店内にまで侵入してあちこち飛び回って居る事に愕然としました。オーダーして居たので、カントリーサイドなので仕方ないかと考え直しバーカウンターの後方にあった広めの席に着席しました。程なくしてトリプルバーガーとサイドメニューが運ばれて来ました。もちろんハエが私たちのテーブルの上でバーガー狙って大旋回して居ました。もちろん言わずと知れたTeddy's の食べなれた味とボリュームには満足しました。しかし店内なのに大量のハエと、客が連れて来たペットの犬がバーカウンターの上にまで駆け上がったり、椅子の上を次々移動したり、正直言って私は落ち着いて食事出来ませんでした(泣)長居は禁物だと感じ、私たちは早々に店を出ました。帰りがけにポーチの上には無惨に散らかった蓋の空いたゴミ箱がいくつか有り、そこはまるでハエを飼っているのかと思うほどハエの天国でした。ハワイだからハエも動物も、自然界に生きてる物は全てお友達だと思うべきなのか、、、帰りの車の中、私たちは皆んな同じ事を考えて居たのでしょうか？ちょっと無口になりました。出来ればもう少し衛生面にも配慮して誰もが気持ち良くバーガーを楽しめる環境を作って欲しいと思いました。

Two words...MAI TAI. Go for the drinks, stay for the food. We hired a driver for the day and during our pre-planning, let him know we were looking for some local places, good drinks, and good company. When we got in the car that morning, he said, don't worry, I got a mai tai guy. Thos most amazing words ever spoken. Teddy's delivered! The bartender was just a cool dude, so chill, a friend to everyone. Teddy's had the local vibe, and just serves damn good drinks and service. While we didn't get any food, we might have been the only ones who didn't. so that was definitely a good sign of the quality of food. The Mai Tai's were strong, and made with love. The beer selection was great, and then I asked the bartender for his favorite drink. After he made sure I was up for the seeming challenge ahead of me, he happily obliged! And wow...was it fantastic. Truly, go check them out, sit inside, sit outside, order all of the things and just slow down for a beat and stay a while!

Great vibes. Super chill. Spacious seating. Good solid burgers. Fries fresh and perfectly salty. Try their Golden Ale IPA! The workers are very chill and knowledgeable.

It took fifty minutes to get our food. My cheeseburger didn't have cheese and the meat was gross. The fries and onion rings were okay. They had a good variety of fountain drinks. I got very sick immediately after eating here. I will spare you the details. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Really good overall. My wife and I both loved the burgers we got. I also ordered spicy fries which were great. The kids didn't really care for the chicken strips. The smaller, thinner ones were good but some were pretty thick and those were a bit chewy. They did both enjoy the fries. The staff was excellent. Quick service and we were checked on a few times during our meal. We sat out front cuz the weather was perfect but the chickens! The chickens! There were so many around and it's clear that they're used to eating this human food. Cute but pretty annoying (I also realize there's very little the restaurant can do about the wildlife!)

The staff at Teddy's was great. Very friendly. Very accommodating. I may be a bit biased because a relative works there; but I thought they were great. I loved the decor and the ambulance was very chill! Enjoyed the food too!
