Teapresso Bar - Ka Makana Ali’i

I love this location. The girls working are always nice especially one in particular. I didn't get her name but she is my favorite worker who always greets me when I walk in and is genuine and sweet when I am ordering with her. I have tried their sea-foam coffee and their spicy mango slush. They are both great in my opinion. Overall my favorite place to go for a drink before heading to school.

I literally dread coming to this location. I think in all I've been here about 6X if not more. I don't even bring my kids in because the whole atmosphere really lacks service! I was here last night and I think last night had to be the last straw for me. I mean we're spending $8+ on a drink! The least you could do is say "Thank You" right? Last night the girl literally pushed my drink to me and walked away. The whole time after that she was slamming things which made the shorter cashier jump every time. You could tell she was a little uncomfortable. Being that I seen other reviews like this, I knowIt's not just the girls working last night. I knew a young girl that worked there briefly and did say it was the management/owner that they had a hard time with. But, I just think all staff need to revamp and work on their customer service. The drinks are the same as any other location. Just the service is lacking.

My Hokkaido milk tea straight up tasted like iced water with food coloring :( this is not on par with the other teapressos on the island. For $7.35 base price this is way too expensive for what it was.

I've love Teapresso when they opened up on Bethel St then moved to Bishop St. I no longer work in DT so Waipahu and Kapolei's the closest for me.2nd time visiting Ka Makana location and been disappointed both times. Coffee MT was my go too Had this on my 1st visit few months ago. Coffee flavor was not there. This visit, Sat 7/13/24 decided to try their haupia matcha. I could not taste the matcha at all. For the price $8.15, I don't think their matcha drinks are worth it if all they do is fill it up mainly with milk. If this is their standard, IDK, maybe order this as matcha with a splash of milk. If that's even possible.

This is one of the very few places that actually can make my peach green tea absolutely perfect the way I want it. The sweetness and the flavor.

I was at Ka Makana Ali'i and needed something to drink on a hot day. I saw Teapresso Bar next to Foodland and it was perfect. We walked in and the workers greeted us. We looked over the menu and decided on the mango lychee lemonade. Hey, you can't go wrong with mango and lychee right?It was yummy and definitely quenched my thirst. It wasn't too sweet or too tart. It fell somewhere in the middle..

I wanted to love this based on reviews and lines outside, but it was a major bust. From the moment I walked in, the young girl working the store was rude and angry. I should have just walked out, but I really wanted an iced coffee. I asked what was in the caramel foam and if it was sweet and she scoffed at me for asking anything. After ordering, I got sticky cups with caramel and foam on the side. It was a mess. The caramel was covered in salty foam and just absolutely awful tasting. It was the saltiest coffee ever. The mocha was just plain chocolate and no real coffee taste. For $14 for 2 coffees, I felt ripped off and didn't even drink it all. I barely made it through half of the caramel, but I really needed caffeine. My husband put more coffee from our hotel in his. This just was a waste of money with the gross drinks and piss poor attitude from the staff.

Cheers to your birthday Mom!This is where I got my love of tea though I've introduced her the wide varieTEAS we now are so lucky to have and Teapresso Bar lately has been a favorite of mine.Where do I begin the reasons I love Teapresso Bar...- Their brew to order tea using leaves not powder- Dozen of tea leaves to choose from- Not this location but others close late enough to get our sips- Having the option for a sugar free tea- Amazing dairy options- Tea, Smootie, Frappe, Lemonade, Hot/Iced Coffee but what I really love is to build your own tea since I do love mine usually simple but the menu is just incredible it's amazing how this little place makes all this magic happen.After a fairly good shopping around Kamakana Ali'i this outdoor mall does get it's share of sun and we were just ready and not wanting to sit with the crowds we went to the back side area at the Grove here there's so much seating with water fountains providing soothing sounds we both ended up putting our feet up and just chill and that's just priceless.Thank you!

I have to say the order was quick. I ordered online from the Clover app, very convenient. As soon as I walked in the drinks were literally finished and I was able to pick them up. We drove home and started to enjoy our drink. We got 4 drinks from there and out of the 4 drinks Only one stood out bad from the start. Ordered a Milk tea strawberry flow. Came out sweet but had a bad sour after taste. Couldn't drink it. The Strawberry banana smoothie and the Avocado smoothies were good. Not sure what happened there. If we ever go back I'm going to make sure we taste them before we leave the store. I'll stick to Hoopili's store location for now.

The drinks were fine. CUSTOMER SERVICE has been COMPLETE GARBAGE. I have been to this location two times. I have never seen anyone so pissed off to have a job.Typically when a customer comes in and says "Hi good morning" a service provider will respond with something... But both times. NOTHING. No "Hi" or "What can I get ya", NOTHING. They literally stand there in silence, with no eye contact, and wait for you to order. The ONLY, thing the lady said today was, "Do you want add-ons" to my order of plantation tea. She made the tea and then placed it in the pickup area, even though I was right there and the ONLY person in there, minus a tiny auntie who walked in behind me a few seconds later. I typically don't give bad reviews, but if I were the owner of this location, I would want to know that the staff I am paying are miserable and displaying terrible customer service.
