Taqueria Hawaii

I am very skeptical about Mexican food in Hawaii. Since I'm from San Diego, which has some of the best, I'm a little bias. However, Janey and I were walking around and we both smelled something very good! Turns out it was Taqueria Hawaii! Looking over the menu, we decided on a birria quesadilla. The girl helping us was Asian, but the cook was Hispanic, so I think we were in good hands!The quesadilla was delicious! The only thing missing was the broth to dunk it in, but the meat was very flavorful!!! I did wish we had our own...which seemed to be our ongoing theme...LOL! Definitely worth checking out!Mahalo Taqueria Hawaii!

The food was good, but not worth the wait for a quesadilla. I waited an hour for my one order while others who had larger orders, after me, were getting served. Food: 7/10 service: 3/10

It's pretty hard to top this place when it comes to a tasty and hearty burrito. Some places just put anything on their truck but this place gets it right. The service is as good as it gets. The owners/operators of the truck are always polite and enthusiastic about their product every time I visit. Today was my fourth visit. I got lucky because the traffic died down and I was able to catch them before closing. The Mililani Tech park where they are throughout the week is very scenic and usually a pleasant location to break from the workday. This place is my new favorite location for Mexican food!!

I've been to several Mexican food trucks in the Kaka'ako area (Thydas, Sabrozon) so was happy to see another taco truck option! This truck is in the parking lot of the brewery. They offer tacos, baos, and quesadillas. They are a little more unique in that they offer steamed baos as a fusion option.I ordered a chicken quesadilla and was a little disappointed to see it was a single tortilla folded in half for $11 (was expecting one tortilla per side). It was tasty and the service was great. Not sure I'd return considering the other two trucks seem to offer larger portions for similar or slightly cheaper prices.

Tasty, creative tacos! The LA-style Mexican-Chinese fusion caught my eye, I definitely want to try the bao tacos next but wanted to try how they do carnitas. The meat was juicy and tender, but what surprised me is that I enjoyed the vegan one just as much. The corn tortillas were good too. They're onto something with this flavor combo, and I can't wait to try more of their menu. Service was friendly and personable. I almost took a star off because $5 per taco is a bit steep, but I'd say the high quality and unique specialties are worth it. Not pictured: their freshly made horchata made with mochi rice it was so refreshing on a hot day that I finished it before I sat down!

Breakfast in Aiea, Oahu, Hawaii...Every Saturday morning from 8am to noon, Taqueria Hawaii is one of the 30 vendors at the Pearlridge Farmers Market. I saw this small business on KHON, Channel 2. This friendly couple opened their Food Truck in December 2023. They explained that their cuisine is a fusion of Chinese and Mexican because that's their cultures.For example, they have a taco that features a bao instead of a tortilla. I ordered a Vegan Bao Taco since the photo looked so appealing! It was delicious with lots of long rice and some chili essence!I also got a refreshing vegan horchata drink! It wasn't too sweet and had a nice cinnamon flavor!The pork taco was yummy, too! It's a traditional dish that really hit the spot! (Even though it was a bit spicy for me)Come over to Pearlridge Center and find their pink/silver/white Truck with the Mexican tunes playing in the background! Note: Service is very cheerful! The wife takes orders and scoops out the horchata while the husband prepares the food!

We took a ride out to pearlridge to try this taco truck and it did not disappoint. The owners are so friendly and the food is amazing. I loved the vegan tacos and the pork belly was really good too. The homemade spicy salsa was just right. I can't wait to go again

The birria tacos were absolutely delicious, and everyone who came with me agreed that the tacos were bursting with flavor and had amazing meat.fantastic

Best birria tacos I've ever had and I'm from Texas. I got the chance to try it at the farmers market on a Sunday morning. So so so so good!!!

They were so nice, and friendly they went above and beyond by asking me if I wanted it spicy or mild while they made it fresh. It was clean. Seriously if there at your concert your lucky to have them.
