First time in here, Xmas day 2024. We drove from Mililani to Haleiwa in search for flowers. Everyplace was closed. By the time we headed back we took a chance and Tamuras had protea, anthurium and I scored the last bunch of cut flowers. As I was entering I saw a happy man carrying out a roll of sushi on a white box. I looked around the store, it's way bigger than I imagined. I saw an approachable shopper and asked, where is the sushi? She said by the poke in the front of the store on the right side. Big question mark for me. I completely walked into the store and never saw it in a separate doorway before the first cashier.Dang!!! What a great find! Boiled peanuts, poke to the max, fried chicken( huge pieces), big corned beef and ahi patties. I took a kulolo and the last sushi roll plus chow fun, etc. Lunch for Xmas day at your serviceMerry Christmas !!!

What is there to say about Tamura's market they have 3 locations their original in Waianae and Wahiawa and in Kalaeloa.Plus they have liquor stores all over that they sell Poke as well. I wish I was related to them ha ha .This particular location in Wahiawa doesn't have prices on their Poke which is smart . When you get to the register than bam it's high Market prices . Look at my pic I order quarter pound of their Ninja poke it cost me $9 dollars . It was ok tasting with a little shoyu and sugar w/furikake and a little round onion and green onion .This Tamura's Market is located at the end of Wahiawa town last stop to stock up and beer and Poke before you head into North Shore area. There always busy and their Poke counter also sells plate lunches .Support local

We love seafood and P2 is local so we stopped on our way to north shore for beach. 10/10 recommend. They give weird kitchen hours but the poke is top notch ( broke da mouth) according to him. We go all the time when we visit. It's a must stop. Grab your beverages, poke / plate lunch and hit da beach. Fresh taste, nice people and the Alisha service

Updating my review. This time was a disappointment. Had high expectations for my Ahi Sunrise Poke since it was so good last time. Ordered the poke bowl version with 2 scoops rice. They offered to put furikake on the rice which was nice. However, the poke cut was stringy this time. Maybe they have a new fish cutter? It wasn't as remarkable tasting as last time and it was a tad too spicy. I don't recall it being spicy at all last time. The service was also really slow since they had a new guy running the register and he had lots of issues. The manager had to relieve him to take a break since the line was getting long. Maybe today was an off day? Might give it another try later.

Ah well you know the old saying?? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me! Well Shame on Me!!Purchased Uncrustables (Frozen Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches) that were on sale. Bread was so hard, and freezer burned that you can't eat it. I'm really frustrated by the quality of their frozen items. I still stand by first statement that i would buy fresh meats, fish, and vegetables from here. But that's really it from now on. You guys need to do better.

Not as good as it used to be. Supermarket has been upgraded a lot in the lat few years but the poke bowls unfortunately are no longer it. The poke cut wasn't as good as before and the taste also wasn't as memorable. It was almost a bit too salty this time and without the flavor and umami as before? It also doesn't help that service is very slow.

Well you know this place was a pretty good place for Poke back in the time before 911. Not sure what happened, but it went way downhill. The place overall isn't all that great anymore. It's just location location location to the only thing around. I wouldn't waste my time stop before you come into the North Shore for anything you want to get from the market and don't waste time over price products and help there's pretty rude too.

When putting together a care package to send to the 9th island, Vegas, I just had to come here for Li Hing Mui (white; seedless). I called ahead to ensure that the product I desired was, indeed, in-stock (it was) and then I did the drive up to Wahiawa. INTERACTING WITH THE STAFF:I found the employees to be amazing. They truly knew where things were and went out of their way to walk me to the products. This is a service that we are seeing less and less of nowadays.CLEANLINESS:I found the store remarkably clean ...especially when compared to some other stores I have been in recently.PARKING:I think you will find parking your vehicle to be a simlle thjng to do thank to the large parking lot in front of the store.END GAME:I have no reservations recommending this store to my ohana and those randomly reading this review.

This is probably the third different Tamura's location I've visited in the past month; and it's also the first time I've been here. I was pretty impressed with the size of the store which seemed to rival the Laie location. I also appreciated the large parking lot that only seems to be for Tamura's so there is ample parking. I went here entirely for the poke so I also appreciated that the poke counter is located on a small side area as soon as you enter the store. It beats not having to go into the main area of the store. The line was moderately long when I came at about 1:00 on a Saturday. But there were two employees working the counter so it was only about a 7 minute wait. Although there were many ahi selections I wanted to try, I went with the Tamura's sauce ahi and my favorite tofu poke. The tofu was exceptional as always. The ahi was pretty damn good and I'd likely get it again. It was salty and sweet-- definitely could taste sesame oil, shoyu, and sugar. It was fresh so very tender, and loaded with regular onions and green onions.I definitely liked this location and the service was friendly.
