My kids have been coming to Darin and crew for about 4 months now and they have enjoyed it very much! They offer group classes in the afternoons and it has greatly helped them get stronger and faster for their respective sports. I would absolutely recommend Tactical Strength to anyone looking for professional strength and conditioning for yourself or your kids.

Shrimp, rice, wheat, fish, whatever.Tactical sports exists to tailor a workout with your specific physical needs in mind. For me, it was developing our boys for the upcoming basketball season.While we've just newly come onboard, the attention to detail, quality of instruction, personal mastery and FLAT OUT passion for what they do.. Well, it's just down right BLATANT. We started our workout with Ian and he was fantastic. But every single trainer is circling and working in between drills to address those in need (not just who they start with). 8 eyes working the room making sure that exercises are done right, done with effort, to achieve maximum results.First time high school kids (mine), working with all these little tykes doing exercises.. Can you imagine how embarrassing it would be if you were not used to working out in a gym? Surprisingly, it wasn't at all. Their training staff MADE IT, OK. Rationalizing with my players as I would on the sideline with them during a game; achieving their goals, what was expected and what effort was required to get there.Flat out quality, entire operation, top to bottom. 5 stars were never given so easily.I will update at a later point. We're just working out our schedule to get into tactical more often.

I need something to helpmeet hall the years of injury and damage I did to my body. Darin put me in an amazing program that has increased my mobility and strength in just a few short weeks. Barry has been helping wth releasing my shoulder so Darin's program can work to its fullest. I don't care how old or young you are or what level of fitness you are at, from just getting off the couch to the pro athlete. This is the place you need to come if you want a better you.

My 13 year old isn't new to strength and conditioning but this was our first visit at Tactical. The trainers did a great job, clean facility and the 90 minute program made us go back for more!

Darin and Kate are so helpful. We can see the difference with my son when he is playing his sports. It has helped his agility as well as confidence with playing. Would definitely recommend! My son always looks forward to going to workout there!

By far, Tactical has THE best trainers. If you want results, you will get them here. Darin & Barry are awesome! My older son trained there for volleyball and had instant, outstanding results. I remember his vertical jump increasing about 3-inches in a matter of a few sessions. He played high school volleyball. Now my younger son, who is just 7, started training there at around age 6. His speed and agility jumps to another level when he trains with Darin. He can only come during the summertime right now but every time after he trains at Tactical, people always ask us what we did as you can visibly see an increase in his athletic performance. And although my son will throw attitude here & there as the exercises are difficult, Darin is very patient & encouraging with him. Another benefit is that there are very successful athletes training there so it makes you want to do your best and be your best. For my older son, he trained with successful college athletes & even some pro athletes. With my younger one, he has trained next to athletes like Derrick Low and other college/high school athletes & even MMA fighters. It's a good breeding ground for him to see that with hard work & dedication, he too can be the best he can be whether it be on the field, in the gym or whatever. Don't hesitate on coming to Tactical if you want to up your game. You definitely won't regret it.

My mother actually was the first to go to Tactical in the family. It was a convenient for her as she worked on Kapiolani. She valued the atmosphere as work outs are scheduled according to her availability. Furthermore, the vibe is different in juxtaposition to most gyms in the set up, free weights, and machines. Mind you, it was the personal attention that she received from her trainer that she was most impressed with. Her needs from her body vary throughout the year, therefore, work outs changed throughout the year. The training was so specific that she recommended it to me.I began going to Tactical during my senior year of high school. I was hesitant at first, but instantly felt at ease during my initial free assessment. There were numerous Division 1 and professional athletes training in the gym. Athletes from different sports seemed to be doing different movement based strength and conditioning exercises. Until then, I have not seen sophisticated strength training like this. Later, I learned about their close affiliation with Athletes Performance, which answered a lot of my questions as to why this type of training is so different. As a collegiate soccer player, I was excited to work out and be doing the same exercises that athletes at the highest level were doing, especially the US National Team. It added to my knowledge about how to train my body specifically for the demands of soccer. The results were so beneficial that I included many of the exercises that I learned at Tactical back in college.Currently, my entire family trains there. Although each of us have our own needs, both Barry and Darin are able to assist us in coming up with routines that cater to our short term and long term goals.. So whether if you're a busy mom trying to get ready for a ski trip, a high school athlete looking to get an edge over your fellow peers, or even a collegiate/professional athlete, Tactical has the knowledge and facilities to address all your needs.

My friend recommended Tactical to me when I was playing football at Kamehameha. I went to their website and saw many all-state, college and professional athletes. My dad and I went in for a free assessment and it blew us away. They showed me things I have never seen before. I am now playing college football and in the best athletic shape of my life. Barry at Tactical helped me gain muscle and worked on my explosive power and speed. I would highly recommend Tactical Strength to any athlete who wants to improve their game.
