My family and I live on the North Shore and we always come into mid-O'ahu to shop and eat. We're always googling to places to eat and I was excited to see this GEM pop up. I'm also subscribed to "Food Fiend" on YouTube and remember her trying this place. Watching her video made it easy to find. Parking is tight alongside the wall, but there's a lot of parking on the street and it isn't too far of a walk to find. It's a unique dining experience, but it's all good. It can get a bit stuffy because the eating area is within a room with no windows but there are fans that keep it cool with cute cat artwork on the walls. Upon arriving we were greeted by Chelsea! OMG, she is one of the best servers/waitresses we have ever met. Super friendly, sweet, personable; and her customer service is IMPECCABLE!!! She's very communicative and truly embodies the "aloha" spirit. The food was really good. Everything very tasty, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked, I really enjoyed the roasted chicken. Chelsea did warn us ahead of time that the roast chicken takes a little bit longer. But my family weren't complaining because everything is made to order, so you're guaranteed fresh food each time. My son ate all of his gyoza and noodles and loved the capri sun feel to the drinks. I highly recommend the roasted chicken, which will take a while to make. But it's so juicy and tender. It's a HUGE portion and the dipping sauce drives it over the edge. The food all feels nostalgic and gives off time and love of a well prepared home cook meal. I really loved the Portuguese egg tarts. It's creamy, sweet and the crust was very flaky and buttery. Thank you Chelsea and Chef for having us. We enjoyed it very much and look forward to visiting again.

Ate here recently and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the staff. I ordered the orange chicken with rice. The orange chicken was some of the best that I have ever had. The rice was a simple white rice, so not too much to say about that. I had 3 dining companions with me with one ordering the chicken and waffles, the other two having the house fried gyoza with the noodles. The chicken is two boneless breast pieces that are fried to perfection with a nice bubbly waffle. The gyoza came in chicken and beef again paired with the noodles. The gyoza and noodles were awesome. The cafe has a wide variety of teas that are served in a bag; somewhat hard for me to explain. The cafe is located in an industrial complex and parking may be a little difficult. Once inside the complex, the cafe is down a hallway. Chelsea was the only employee that we dealt with and she is amazing. She is energetic and aims to make the guest as happy and comfortable as possible. Definitely going back.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Immediately greeted by the sweetest most eager server, Chelsea. We were sat within seconds, menus in hand, with our water being poured. The food and drinks are to die for. I had the bubble waffle and chai tea. Chelsea doesn't let you go long without checking in and making sure your food and experience are great. It is definitely an unassuming place that really makes you wonder as you're parking/walking up- but don't let anything deter you. Chef is incredible and the food is well worth any wait.

We love finding cute hidden gems around Hawaii and this is definitely one of them. This place is a literal hole-in-the-wall cafe in the back of Halawa serving some delicious comfort foods and drinks. Highly recommend trying the fried noodles but they have fresh poke bowls too which we will try the next time They are practically a one man show with Chelsea, the owner, running around with 3 chefs cooking in the back. So please be patient and kind because she was the sweetest person ever! I think out of everything we ate, we loved the house fried noodles the best.

Tucked away in a cozy corner, this little cafe is an absolute gem. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The chocolate croissant is nothing short of perfection--flaky, buttery, and with lots of chocolate. It's the kind of pastry you dream about and will keep coming back for. To complement it, I tried their passion fruit orange brewed tea, which was a delightful balance of tart and sweet flavors. It was refreshing and unique--definitely something I'd recommend. What made my visit even more memorable was Chelsea, a member of the staff. She's truly the sweetest person ever--kind, attentive, and radiating positivity. Her friendly demeanor added a personal touch to the experience, making this cafe feel like a second home.If you're looking for a place to relax, enjoy incredible treats, and be surrounded by genuine hospitality, this cafe is a must-visit. I can't wait to come back!

What an amazing find. Definitely a hole-in-the-wall. Never would've expected a restaurant to be tucked away in an area surrounded by warehouses. So happy my son found this place on Yelp. Once we entered the cafe we were greeted by Chelsea. She immediately made us feel so welcomed just like family. She asked our names and thereafter referred to us by name when addressing us. Chelsea was very attentive to our needs and explained all about the menu items and what ingredients were used. A perfect hostess who wore many hats. We ordered our drinks (Magic Butterfly Pea Lemonade and Raspberry Black Tea). Both were very refreshing. For our meals we ordered Orange Chicken with House Fried Noodles and Fried Rice with Gyoza. The food did not disappoint. Portions were generous and the tasteamazing. Definitely not disappointed at all. While our bellies were stuffed we managed to find room for dessert......Bubble Waffle sprinkled with powdered sugar and drizzled with honey. Yummy. And of course we further indulged and took home some Portuguese Custard Tarts. The tarts were scrumptious.....flaky crust with a creamy custard filling. Upon paying our bill Chelsea gifted us with some Peach Black Tea to go. We were both touched and thankful. Thank you Sweet Corner Cafe and Chelsea. What a wonderful experience. Your establishment is definitely a "hidden gem."

Service: chelsie was amazing! Her hospitality and knowledge on the menu that was shared with us made us want to buy everything! What we ordered, everything was delightfully enjoyable! Ambiance is a small establishment, but very worth the wait if there is one. Food freshly made and all in all, very enjoyable experience. Must try. It's hard to find, but just go down the hill and it's on the left side. It is in the industrial area, special hole in the wall place. IYKYK.

One of the most unique experiences for a food establishment. This place was really tucked away in a warehouse building with other businesses. Really a hole-in-the-wall, with wonderful service. We were greeted by Chelsea, a wonderful host that was well informative about the menu. We had the Hong Kong black milk tea, the beef gyoza with their signature fried noodles, and bubble waffle with fried chicken. Everything we ordered was amazing. The food was definitely WORTH THE WAIT! Peach tea was awesome too. This is definitely a place you wanna spread the word! Recommended and approved!! We'd come back again and try the rest of the menu!
