Service 5/5 -- Server was very attentive. Chef was efficient and kept good timing between each pieceAmbiance 4/5 -- Located behind a curtain in the food hall which was difficult to find. Noise level increased towards the end of the meal, live singers performed in the food hall. Dining area was very warm during the meal (perhaps just me)Food 4/5 -- 16-course omakase. Food was good, some really outperformed others. Good amount of soy sauce for my taste, but heavy on the rice and wasabi; it wasn't spread across the rice very well. I got full quickly and left the meal feeling stuffed. Decent value, paid $345 for two including 2 beers + tip. Not the most impressive omakase I've had but a pleasant experience overall. I would consider coming back

There are many Omakase choices in Honolulu but $125- seems like a bargain. Located in the corner at Kuhio Food Hall I wasn't sure what to expect. Turned out to be a cozy spot. It can be a little loud but softens as the evening continues. The 16 courses were interesting and moved right along. We liked it. BYOB for now and validated parking at IMP

The omakase experience is hidden in the back of the food hall behind a black curtain. It's loud and kind of a speakeasy vibe. The ambiance was actually kind of nice though overall-- surprisingly.Chef Ogame seems extremely nice and dedicated as a chef so I feel bad but my honest review was that the Omakase pieces were just not right. I really wanted to like this place. I did not feel that the food justified the price (I think it was like $125 per person). The pieces were either too salty or unseasoned. Midway through I started feeling apprehensive whenever I saw him add any soy sauce or seasoning to the fish...and I'm honestly someone who likes things more on the salty side. The level of saltiness had me wondering if there was an unhealthy amount of salt in the food --like it wasn't even just about the taste. The egg at the beginning was delicious though (this one was not too salty) which was a redeeming piece. The uni looked delicious but didn't taste as good as it looked. Overall the omakase was not worth the price and there are so many better options in Oahu.

A hidden gem! We had a wonderful time. Chef Koichi Ogame prepared an array of the best hand picked blue fin nigiri that I've ever tasted. The ambiance was serene and intimate. I would recommend to get there early so you can find the restaurant behind a black curtain to block out the outside patrons. We even got a quick Japanese lesson from the manager there. Very friendly and professional. We will come back again to see him before we set off to Japan! Mahalo!

I was blessed to experience the soft opening of this sushi restaurant. As a sushi lover and having experienced eating sushi all over Japan and in Hawaii, the sushi here has by far been the BEST sushi I have ever eaten. There are only 8 seats per seating so make your reservation ASAP! Make your reservation on Yelp or DM on Instagram NOW before seats run out.

Ogame San ships his unique OMAKASE items from Toyosu Market in Tokyo. His chef skills are of the highest level. We loved his secret recipes and we were extremely amazed. You need to try his food and the cost value is very worth it. Ogame San serves "NODOGURO" sushi in all of his OMAKASE meals. This fish is quite rare and very expensive because it lives in the deep dark oceans of a few areas of Japan. This is definitely a favorite of many sushi diners. Google it and you'll be most anxious to taste it and never regret it. Parking is not a problem with 5 floors of parking. HAPPY DINING.Aloha to all.
