Parking: Hawaii Kai Towne center...lots of parking as long as you're not on the Costco side Service: I've come here long enough to know to phone order your item in...trust me...cuz they truly take 15-20 minutes or longer depending on how busy they are. Food: crunch don...I kind of didn't want to post this since it's such a HK gem...but it's honestly too good not to share...it would be doing the business a disservice if people didn't know about this bowl of gold. The spicy ahi bits with the shrimp tempura/vegetable tempura bits...truly a well textured and balanced bowl. Don't forget to ask them for wasabi/ginger as well :) Overall: I'd phone order again...I probably ate this at least 20 times+ in my lifetime

Price: 8/10 - very affordable and reasonable prices, they have a lot of bento specials, plate lunch combo. Variety: 9/10 - offered maki , donburi, party platters, noodle, nigiri handroll, udon, and other items such as groza, miso soup, sesame ball, edamame, and inari Seating: 8/10 - very limited seating since there was about 6 chairsService: 8/10 - the employees was very welcoming and the food came out very quick.I got the dynamite roll and it was very STUFFED, but I was not too fond of the texture of the spicy ahi. However, I definitely recommend getting their Seared Aburi Salmon with Garlic & Mayo sauce!

Sushi Man is our go to sushi place for sushi nights at home. We call ahead to place an order and it is always ready when we go to pick it up. Today we ordered the Dynamite, Spicy Ahi, and the Dragon roll. The Dynamite was nice with a little crunch. The spicy ahi has a good kick, can't go wrong. The dragon roll seaweed was a little chewy. There is free parking in the shopping center lot. ADA accessible path, though the door might be hard to get through. Inside they have seating, but it is kind of dirty and there are homeless in the vicinity so I don't feel comfortable staying long. Staff is very kind and easy to communicate with. I recommend this place for affordable sushi takeout. Platters are a hit at parties.

This place has NO greeting and the futo maki is $7.97 over $8.00 with only 8 pieces! Kim bap at Palama express is $5.00 for 10 pieces at aloha tower! They're over priced and the rice was soggy with no taste! I just read the other reviews and the owner has a bad attitude! No wonder their sushi sucks! Never going back there again! I just wasted over $8.00 for a futo maki roll!!!

I JUST PAID 50 CENTS EACH FOR FIVE PACKETS IF SIY SAUCE.I am eating a Spider Roll. More kani than crab, but the memorable part was only two soy sauce packets are allowed (this was an order to eat in, no soy sauce at the eating spaces proceeded). I asked for more soy sauce and the very polite and helpful waitress/register person brought one more packet (that makes two).I asked for more was told food only comes with two and... So I had the pleasure of paying $2.50 cents for five packets of soy sauce.

Oh man! Delicious sushi so close to home! I love their spicy ahi sushi. I'm not sure of the actual name of it since hubby ordered for me but I'm hooked! I think he said it was some sort of teriyaki sauce drizzled over the sushi but it was super delish! And honestly I don't care for teriyaki at all yet it made the entire sushi really tasty. I'm still craving for more. About $23 worth in my picture, not too bad for the price of sushi.

I have been coming here since 2013 and will continue to come here as long as they remain open.I liked both the last owners as well as the present owners.Making Sushi myself has given me an even greater appreciation for the quality of the food they serve here.

The service is always prompt and courteous. I've ordered takeout from here many times throughout the years, and the quality is always good for the price. Better than most neighborhood cheap sushi places. They have a large menu with many healthy and not-so-healthy choices, so I can always fulfill whatever fishy craving I'm having.

Prices have made it too expensive to patronize. I've been loyal since it was at Times Niu Valley. So sorry but you lost my business.

This is a one and done experience for me. I ordered a specialty roll via Uber Eats for pickup. Upon ordering I received a note that the food would be ready in 30 minutes. A bit long but not excessively so and I was prepared to wait. A few minutes after that I get an updated finish time notice, which pushes things out to a full hour. This was too long to wait for a sushi roll, so I attempted to cancel on the app but was informed that I could no longer do so without paying a full price cancellation fee as the restaurant had already started preparing my order (color me dubious as it doesn't take an hour to prepare a roll). I then tried calling the restaurant multiple times with the hope of being able to cancel that way; of course, nobody answered.I then proceed to travel to the restaurant to try to confirm the time it'll take to prepare my food. When I get there I'm told that I'll need to wait another 20-30 minutes; I didn't want to but I had already waited long enough so said I'd wait a little longer. All in all it took 40+ minutes to prepare a roll when I was one of the only people in the store. To be fair, they could have had numerous phone orders, but it also looked like there was only one person back there making the sushi. Looking at other reviews since I ordered, time seems to be a regular theme at this place.On to the food. It was decent but nothing that blew me away. Had the food blown me away, I would have vowed to return, even if it required substantial planning ahead for the wait.
