Surf's Up Soda

Dessert in Kalihi, Honolulu, Hawaii...While searching "Hot New Businesses" on Yelp, Surf's Up Soda was on the top of the list.We went to check it out...Although parking is a bit challenging, street parking is free along Hau Street and Mokauea Street. There are 3 dedicated parking stalls on Hau Street for Lei Lei's Bistro that are available since Lei Lei's closes at 2pm, and Surf's Up Soda opens at 2pm.Dave is the friendly owner! He's enthusiastic and helpful! You can create your own flavor combination if his suggestions aren't enough. Of course, I got the cute Shark Bite Soda. It had 4 gummy sharks on the bottom of the cup. It was refreshing with Sprite and blue raspberry flavor. Next, I got the Peach on the Beach Soda (Mountain Dew, strawberry, peach, and cream) because I thought the orange color would enhance the blue gummy sharks... LOL! Yes... it's fun to play with these sharks! Let's return and try other sodas! There's a nice breeze that flows around the outdoor seating area!

Check this out...Surf's Up in Kalihi and what a refreshing treat! As I'm not always craving those fancy coffees here you can find what I call some fun mocktails with soft drinks and what a fun and creative idea.Surf's Up Soda occupies Lei Lei's which is found on the corner of Mokaueas and Hau Street and taps in when they close at 2pm and as we enjoyed lunch at Lei Lei's just before they closed we asked about Surf's Up Soda and found out it's another biz.Dave is the owner and the creative drinkologist who created a menu filled with crafted drinks or if you don't find what you crave you're able to create your own as well using various soda base including Monster and Redbull as well. Not feeling creative I decided on Shark Bite which is the Summertime funtastic drink as it includes Sprite with blue raspberry giving it that ocean blue color along with some gummy shark candies it was fun as we both played with our drink lol! The second drink...yup...was Berry Peach Splash which wasn't as sweet (love)What I later though of that he should include is club soda to include some of the flavors for an Italian soda which I also love...and with cream will be cream soda...yum! Though the vibe lacks a storefront the drinks are a fun and refreshing treat something that I didn't expect but left feeling bubbly.Thank you!

On a visit to check out Lei Lei's Food truck, we stumbled upon Surf's Up Soda! I will say it was easy to miss but definitely worth the try. I ordered a Tropical Dream and it was delicious! It included Sprite, strawberry, mango, pineapple, and cream. It was refreshing and the perfect sweet treat!

I was craving something like dirty soda from Dutch Bros from the mainland . This place hit the spot!! Confused at first w parking , but it's a small stand on the corner . I got a red bull and made my own w lime , coconut & blue raspberry. but they all sounded good. Just what i wanted and great pricing , toooooo good

Three words and only three words from me, the chatterbox... Fun, Fun Fun. Ok, so I lied, well not really lied because Yelp requires all reviews to be at least 85 words, which seems like a lot, but really isn't. See what I did there? Yelp wants at least 85 words, so be it! Voila.

Wonderful & refreshing drink. Cant wait to go back & try the others. Parking is a bit confusing though. Pretty much just park & run in. But definitely worth the "go"

Amazing company and owner! Great drinks and so yummy. Our daughter won't let us pass up a chance to get a Shark Bite Soda. I like the Tropical Dream and my husband likes the Guava Redbull.

Got the Halloween special which is orange soda with vanilla and cream. Cost a little over $6 for 32 oz. Taste was okay. Couldn't taste anything but orange soda. Tried to stir it because it didn't look well mixed as the powdered creamer was floating on top. Tried again tasted better. Not coming back again. Overpriced for a subpar drink
