Surfboard Repair Hawaii

Amazing. I went in to buy my first long board and they answered all of my dingbat questions like "What is epoxy?" All experienced surfers, the shop staff were eager to share knowledge and discuss boards and breaks with someone who knew nothing. It's easy to let an hour slip away just chatting with them, so welcoming. I was super pleased with the board I eventually got (ironically, a new board) and they gave me a deal on the board + fins + leash + bag + wax.And then I took the board out and immediately sliced a rail open on someone else's fin ‍ Figured it was done for, but still I took it in to them for repair because the owner was insistent. Their rates were very reasonable and they had it done in just under a week, and apparently this is generally a difficult repair, but it looks like new. Another thing that impressed me was that I witnessed a consignment deal when I brought my board in for repairs. I felt like both parties got a good bargain: one guy was able to sell his short board in under a day, and the other got a very fair price on it. It's nice to see locals benefitting like that, and a local surf shop connecting them. The owner Alex is a gem, too. Helped me carry everything to the car, made sure I could find parking, etc. And never a push to buy...seems to want to find the best board for you whether he sells it or not, ha! He spoils his customers for sure and it is tremendous. Definitely strongly recommended.

If you need a surfboard or a surfboard repair and an honest opinion this is the place, came here to get my surfboard fixed because of some cracks and found out I was a bit screwed over with what I payed in price for the surfboard in the first place, Alex was very generous and very honest which I very much appreciate and was given a generous discount and couldn't have gone to a better spot and I just wish I had found this place a lot earlier, will definitely come back!
