Found this new coffee shop tucked away in Niu Valley Shopping Center on Halemaumau Street. Nice, clean with a great selection of drinks and food items! Dog friendly, nice vibe, really casual place to pickup and go or lots of tables to sit down and relax or meet friends! Ample free parking right outside in the parking lot and lots of neighborhood street parking. Located right next to CrossFit Honolulu. We ordered and enjoyed the prosciutto sandwich, grilled banana bread, latte (beautiful latte art) and a nice and hot Americano! Everything was delish! Would definitely be back again! Thanks Surf Camp Coffee!Cheers!

Small cafe located right behind the 7 eleven in Niu Valley. Parking gets pretty busy since there's a gym right next to it. The cafe gets really busy as well. Some tables inside and outside. There were breakfast, drinks, and pastry options. I tried the black sesame latte and the lox bagels. I am usually not a coffee person but the sesame latte was tolerable. Not strong sesame flavor but pretty good. Lox bagel was simple but good. Nice presentation for the food. Great place to chat, sip a drink, or eat a pastry.

THIS MUST BE THE PLACE. If you're into aesthetics and simplicity as much as I am, you cannot go wrong with a visit into Surf Camp. A little oasis on the east side, a little mental staycation if you will.Quality of design, quality of food, and most importantly quality of service from the extraordinary people are what truly bring the everyday ordinary magic come to life. A cozy yet warm inviting spot to get work done, a place of inspiration, an friendly environment that welcomes both familes as well as far out there ideas that cultivate creativity in conversation. The power of a cuppa from Surf Camp is an experience that you won't regret :)12/10 highly recommend.

I love this place I am a mom of 4 ages 8 and under and it was so kid friendly, lots of young families there so I didn't feel too nervous about my kids making noise. The portions and prices def reflect in quality I loved everything I've tried there so far from their strawberry matcha and hojicha being my favs + the yummy pastries they rotate daily! It's a very beautiful space and I am a regular now

Breakfast in Hawaii Kai, Honolulu, Hawaii...I saw Surf Camp Coffee Niu Valley on Instagram and suggested that we meet here! It's a fun, bright, modern vibe at this cozy shop!Service is efficient and patient! The guy at the counter was able to describe each pastry and where it was made. The croissants were from The Local General Store. I got the Raspberry Lemon poundcake because it was made in-house! Yum! I also ordered the Hojicha Latte with Oat Milk... I enjoyed the smokey flavor... the roasted green tea didn't have much bitterness... yay!Irene let me taste her grilled banana bread... oh, wow! That grilling really pops up the texture and flavor, especially with the side of tart lilikoi butter!Jackie gave me a sample of her chocolate almond croissant... ooh, that flakey, crunchy outer layer! The filling was a nutty, sweet delight!I'm so glad that we tried this relatively new business! We all liked it!

They perfected my cortado with honey. Their black sesame latte is also tasty - I liked that it's not super sweet. They have overall good coffee. Have not yet gotten their food but it looks very good based on what I've seen others order in my past two visits! Also they have lovely flower arrangements on display. Great coffee shop to hangout at

Tag-a-long! That's me! Thank you Nadine for letting me tag-a-long with you to Surf Camp Coffee Niu Valley ("SCC") this morning. A wonderful adventure and foodie experience! It was a great to meet up with fellow Elite Yelper Irene! Thank you Irene for my SYOY bracelet! I am honored : )For my drink selection, I enjoyed the iced black sesame latte, which was highly recommended by an employee. This was my first time trying this type of black sesame drink. It was flavorful and lightly sweet. I added almond milk to my drink. 4/5 stars. For my food selection, I ordered a chocolate almond croissant. I was informed by the employee that the croissant was made by The Local General Store, which is located on Waialae Avenue in Kaimuki. As you see in the photo, it's quite large. Flaky and tasty to share! Food: 4/5 stars. The interior is nicely decorated and clean. Utensils, condiments, napkins, straws and more are located at the side counter space near to the cashier. There are tables and chairs available inside and outside SCC. You pick up your order at the counter when your name is called. There are many choices for drinks and food. SCC also bakes its own pastries here. Definitely worth a second visit! Thank you for the adventure and fun Nadine and Irene!

Something Niu is here...If you don't know you certainly won't find this slightly hidden gem in Niu Valley as Surf Camp Coffee is on Halemaumau Street a block in from Kalaniana'ole Hwy. This cozy shop does occupy a shared parking along with other tenants so it can fill up but is nice to know you won't be doing a search to grab your morning perk. The staff here is a delight that easily answer our questions as we found out that the croissants are supplied by The Local General Store, love the various types of drinks they offer as well, as we started our order I got the Matcha latte with almond milk along with their Grilled Banana Bread which was just so delicious as it's served with a side of Lilikoi butter YUM!For dine-in your items will be served in reusable plate and drinks ware...love as the vibe here is quite vibrant though I do feel it's a great place to get work done but having some breakfast with Nadine and Jackie is always an adventure along with this lovely local Niu-bie.Thank you!
