Superb Sushi

Best mobile sushi caterer I ever booked for an event.Thank you very much. So easy to book great communication and also great quality fish which is my biggest pet peeve. They have great energy and vibe, very professional. Thank you for coming to our home all the way on Hakimo Rd. We will definitely recommend anyone to you and have you back at any event or party.

Story time! Needed a last minute sushi platter for Father's Day... I called the morning of and spoke to Mahi. She said she had to ask the sushi chef if they could fit my order in since it's usually one-day advanced orders.... She called me back within the hour and luckily they could make it! Yay!They had exactly what I wanted - The Assorted Nigiri Platter, but I asked if they could substitute Ebi for Unagi or Hamachi. She said they can sub Ebi for Unagi. Great!When I pre-paid over the phone, I noticed there was a double charge of tax on my credit card plus a credit card fee, so I called back and Mahi was able to correct it, but I still had to pay 3% credit card fee. She said they accept Cash, but since she's only working half-day, no one would be working the register when I arrive so can't do cash payment for my order. Ok, that's fine.My curb-side pick up time was 4:30pm, and Mahi said to call the number on the building and someone will come out with my order. I arrived early at 4:00 and the gate was locked and no one was answering the phone. We drove around and called back at 4:15, still no answer... drove around again...4:25, noticed a car parked in the lot and the gate was open. I tell them I'm here to pick up my order, but they said they don't work here, they're just the tenants who live upstairs!! ?? Oh really?! Ok....So luckily one of them (nice man) called the owner Kevin, and said there's a customer waiting outside for their order. I knocked on the locked door. Then saw an Asian man dressed in a white kitchen apron walk out from the back, but he motioned to me "Closed". Then I say, I'm picking up a catering order!"The tenant asks, "Where's Vida?!"Then suddenly a lady runs out to open the door. I say, "You didn't answer the phone?!" She opens the refrigerator with my order and asks for my name and asks me which one is my order...? There's 2 other orders in the fridge after mine so they did know people would be there... I tell her it's the 4:30 pick up - she let's me check it...Alright, everything looks good! I sign her copy, get my receipt and bounce!Presentation and taste was great for what I wanted - Father's Day sushi at home. Price was $99 plus and tax & cc fee = $106.77 for 40 pcs nigiri.Would I order again? Not sure... was kinda disorganized, but glad I got my sushi and it worked out... decent 4 star sushi to say the least! Still have other sushi spots to venture to!

Superb Sushi did their live sushi bar at our party recently and everyone loved it! We've known Superb Sushi for many years and they always provide quality food and service.Kevin, the owner, is great and it is so easy to make the arrangements - we didn't have to worry about a thing!Highly recommend them for any function!

Our family loves Superb Sushi and we love Cy! Every party we do sushi bar, and we do it with Superb. They come like an hour prior to our event to set up and prep things. We usually do it at our house, so just make sure they have a parking spot when they arrive. The sushi is made fresh and made to order. Even the tempura bar is made fresh to order. I love how great Cy is, and how friendly he is. He always takes care of our family, and he's good fun! I definitely recommend Superb Sushi for your next party needs.

Where do you go on New Years Day morning when someone says "Oh by the way can you bring a sushi platter to lunch?" You call this place, and ask them if they can throw together a pretty sushi platter in one hour for you. The flavors of the maki sushi are like the kind your grandma used to make back in the day. The inari sushi is not overly sweet like some of the fast food sushi places and their inside out California roll are really tasty. I didn't order the nigiri platter because we had just had sashimi the night before and I wanted something they could do quickly. Thank goodness they were open and still accepting a phone order. Stop by during the weekdays, they have poke bowls and other stuff too!

Aloha Auinalā....Okay my review here should be a short one since I've never been here before, I repeat NEVER??!! Lol! Honestly, I didn't even know that this place was even opened to the Public either?? Haha!I've driven by this Sushi Place a multitude of times on King St., as I'm on my way to the Post Ofiice, 7-11, etc, & I drive by here & this place always seemed closed to me majority of the time, or I was thinking that this Sushi place only Catered to mainly Restaurants & or Businesses, etc.Well, when my Hubby/Uber driver (lol!) personal pick up our Lunches & Dinners peep came home yesterday, after dropping off something at the Post Office for a Holiday gift (12/22/2021) for a good friend of ours, as I met him at our Screen Door, he was again Carrying bags of Food with him?? Lol.So I asked as I usually do, ooh is that our Lunch for today & my Hubby told me yup, then I'll take the lil packages from him & of course I'll ask him, ooh where did u pick these Sushis from?? And, that's when he was telling me where he went to, "Superb Sush?"? Then my response was, I see that Sushi place all the time as U drive by there, but I never knew that they were opened to the public?, then my Husband told me yeah they were open & had a Crowd of ppl there all Waiting to get their Sushi fix? Huh, I responded, really? Well, Doh to me!!! Haha!My Hubby then told me that the Ladies that work there are really nice, a lil on the older side, but still nice & good Service!!He (My Hubby) put in our lil order of Sushis & a Cute lil Shrimp Tempura Bento for me, how nice of him!! All the lil Sushis that he bought for us, filled us up for our Lunch, & I can't believe that he didn't buy any "Raw Sushi" for himself, since I don't eat anything Raw, & I don't like Poke either!!! My Husband also mentioned that our Lunch was on the Cheaper side yesterday? Was less than $20, Cool I said & thanked him!Oops! Btw we had California Roll, not bad we both said, but the Inari Sushi there from Superb Sushi was Onolicious, we ate all of that cuz it was Good!!My lil 3 Fried Shrimp Bento was good, I couldn't eat the rice tho, after eating the yummy Inari & 2 pieces of the California Roll was more then enough for me. Mahalo Nui, Superb Sushi for now knowing that I can swing by here & pick up more Inari Sushi in the Future, yayyyyy!! Lol.Lastly, my Hubby also told me that this Lady & her Daughter drove all the way from Kapolei to buy their Sushi Fix from here @Superb Sushi. Good to know!!Aloha!

Our company previously hired them to do a "live-sushi" bar at our event, was a big hit! Having the sushi chefs roll sushi right in front of you was also fun to watch!Also, great sushi platters! (but you must pre-order, as they primarily do catering now) They're my go-to place whenever I have to bring food to a party. Their sushi platters are always enjoyed by everyone.Definitely recommended!!!!

I pass by here all time so finally been wanting sushi so here I am.Got a few of the basics to go off of.Maki Oshinko, good sized Maki rolls rice are good, not overly sweet. One thing inside of this roll threw me off a little is the piece carrot. It was very hard and had a earthy taste almost thought was raw gobo at first. But other than that I liked it.Inari tofu, not overly sweet as well so I liked it. Some places are heavy on sugar and vinegar but here it's pretty balanced.Shrimp tempura roll is basically a California roll with shrimp tempura instead of imitation crab. Again good sized roll mayo creamy. Tempura not crispy but expected.Overall pretty happy with quality and price. I'm definitely trying other items here again.

Everything went great with our sushi bar at my private party at home.Our sushi Chef wowed everyone! We budgeted for 45 people and there were still left overs in the end.I was very impressed. I hired them again for a bday party at my house, this time we also added a Tempura bar and suckling pig bar.It was wow! My guests were well fed and happy and Superb Sushi did all the set up and breakdown. And most of all they are very reasonable compared to other sushi bar caterers, and the sushi was ONO! Kevin, the owner is very gracious and he has an excellent crew. I will definitely book them again..

Ordered 3# Chirashi Platter. Looked amazing! But was way too salty. Hard to eat. Would have been easier to eat with poi to curb the saltiness. Boooo! My family was so looking forward to eating.
