Mad shoutout to Willy! My husband and I booked an hour lesson and received top notch customer service- friendly, relaxed, and tailored to our ability level. Hourly rates and private sessions were super affordable. Willy had us set some goals for the private lesson, took us through some fundamentals, including safety exercises, and then had us progressing in no time. We left with a warm welcome to return later in the day, and were eager to do so because the experience was so good.Make sure to stop in and support this gem of a local business! You will not regret it. A must if you're on Oahu (and worth the drive even if you're an hour+ away). Looking forward to returning again!

Simply the best! Willy is awesome, my daughter had never been on a skateboard and Willy started with the basics and by the end of the hour and a half she was totally into it and so happy, thank you Willy for the best time. Highly recommended

Wow!!!! This is what a skate park should be. Great vibes, amazing energy, and a super rad guy named Willy who runs it. I'm 46 years young and Willy inspired me to keep going. If you skate and you're in Oahu you have to stop by here!!!!

Had an awesome time at Sunset Skates. Great lesson with Willy who's super encouraging, patient, and an overall great teacher! Gives you obvious steps to progress and definitely left doing things I never thought I'd be able to, especially in just an hour! The downstairs skatepark is build to progress through -- super fun setup. The bowl upstairs is so rad too! Definitely check it out!

Willy Akers opened a new indoor skate park and skate lessons for all ages of skateboarding here in Kahuku. Stoked to have such talent and enthusiasm here in town. I wish Willy the best and hope all the local kids get a chance to rock the park. The inside set up is great, bowl on one side and ramps on the other. Supplies like boards, pads and accessories are available for sale as well.

I was fortunate to stumble across this skatepark in Hawaii I am a Colorado scooter rider and they let me in for a while. It was only $10 and I had lots of fun!! The owner was really nice and I enjoyed my experience!!

Had so much fun today at the Sugar Bowl!Definitely worth the visit! Mike was awesome and the merch we bought was super cute and comfy, they have great t-shirts and gear for sale in the store front Can't wait to come back asap!!
