I remember seeing Noel guest with the UH jazz ensemble in the early 90's and Abe play a concert at Halekulani ballroom early in his career. They also featured talented high school musicians--giving the young people a venue to practice their jazz/ performance chops!I left whistling and humming the last song Herbie Hancock's, Chameleon. Yes indeed live music with good friends therapy for sure lots of fun. On a Sunday night perfecto. Robert Shinoda, Abe Lagrimas Jr. also Byron Yasui and Noel Okimoto super awesome yay!!! It's been a while we love this place and supporting local musicians.
