Stoke house

If you are looking to rent boards, Stoke House offers a very fair price and they are super helpful. But what I come here for are the clothes! They have so many cute outfits. Of course they have bikinis and bathing suits, but they also have very pretty dresses, top, shorts, rompers, jumpsuits and sweaters. The patterns are nice, colors are soft and the quality is good. There is a cream cropped sweater with big wide strips of orange, yellow and turquoise, my favorite color combo, that I may have to purchase! Just wish it was a regular length sweater. I've already bought a muted orange and cream dress and got so many compliments when I wore it. There is a whole rack of floral printed Jean jackets with plumeria, birds of paradise and other tropical flowers native to the island. Lots of accessories, too! Purses, handbags, sunglasses, hair accessories, beach towels, sandals and tote bags for the beach or to use as your everyday carry all. There are lots of prints in the wall and I believe they are for sale also. They carry men's clothing, too. Button up half sleeve shirts in calm prints, bathing suits, shorts, long shorts and t-shirts. Located on Kalakaua, Stoke House really stands out from the plethora of stores selling the same wares. Yes, it's summer and beach attire but they evidently curate from different brands and are able to offer clothing that looks different from the other stores. even better, it works whether you live on the island or not. Definitely stop in this shop!

The staff and in particular the manager Burk was so nice and helpful to my dad. He rented a board here almost every day we were on the island. $15 for two hours to start and since we came back nearly every day he gave my dad a killer deal. They even offer to hold your belongings for you while you surf! If they are out of boards when you go you can check back in a few hours. Most people don't keep them all day.The clothes are super cute, and they have a big assortment of Pura Vida bracelets, which I by one every time I come back to the islands, even though I know they are Costa Rica.The hours posted on this yelp is def incorrect. They are now open every day, until at least 8pm, that was when they needed the boards back by. And since they are on the opposite side of the street from the beach you will have to carry the board a bit. But since the rental boards are foam they aren't heavy, just a little awkward. We carried them all the way down to Kapiolani park so it's not that bad.

Great spot! I rented a surf board for two hours for $17! (And then had fun failing to surf for two hours). They were even nice enough to keep my towel, scandals and shirt for the rental period too!

Came here looking for swim trunks for my husband but instead I found a dress for myself and the sunglasses here are really cute. I am tempted to go back and snag a pair. The clothes here for women are really cute. Patterns here are my style and they sell many different brands I've never heard of. Sales reps here are super nice as everyone else in Hawaii. Worth a look

The most friendly staff, best rental boards (for both quality and price). They made our quick trip to Waikiki 10x better! We'll be back.

Just a suggestion but if you guys are gonna be closed on and off during all this Covid stuff maybe you could update your hours online so that it doesn't say open 10-4 and I don't keep coming to your store

I was here visiting family for my brothers wedding and came across this place on July 19th at 3:41pm saw the cutest navy blue romper in the front so i decided to try it on. I went to try it on and the small felt baggy so I asked my husband for a xs the xs fit and my husband said don't buy it let's go.... I was annoyed because I loved it so much he said no we are going... so I said ok we leave half way down the block I ask really why can't I buy it he says ... I don't want to tell you but the girls working there said her fat ass won't fit in a xs a blonde girl and a Asian girl were working as looked as if they were 18. I went back in to confront them and they had no remorse for there actions. Due to this I will never recommend this place.

As someone who is a stoke lord and 100% in tune with their stoke, I can say confidently that Stoke House in Maui will deliver unto you righteous threads in store with their vibe in line and the people working there have fully aligned their Chakras. Great place and people.

I ordered an awesome VISSLA impact vest wetsuit that needed to be mailed to Kauai, as I couldn't find my size on island, and manager Burke was so kind not only to accommodate mailing it to me but since the order was just slightly delayed she went way beyond making up for it by sending extra merchandise that was so unexpected! Truly an awesome surf shop like NO OTHER! So generous, amazing ALOHA in every sense. I highly recommend this shop for anything. I've been coming to this store for years and have always had a positive experience. The customer service was friendly and I always found myself talking story with employees for at least 20 minutes while my wife and kids shopped around. Looks like their management has took a turn this time around. Employees didn't leave the counter the whole time to see how we were doing. My least inviting interaction was with one young woman manager who I didn't get the name of. She was rude and a bit of a know it all when I brought up anything about vissla and our time spent on Oahu. It's a bummer vissla is being represented by people who don't know the first thing about aloha or how to have decent customer interactions in a retail store. The vibe was off and it's a bummer.
