Steve's Chicken

This has got to be the biggest sandwich I've eaten before! It was so big I could not take a single bite out of it!!! It was a like an entire full buffet in a single sandwich!! The fried chicken inside was fresh, hot, crunchy, and juicy!The sandwich has 2 gigantic extra THICC fried chicken patties inside of it with a generous amount of lettuce, onions, pickles, and sauce!!! They even offered to give us the spicy sauce on the side on a small container and small spoon.The owner of the place was very friendly, charismatic, and helpful with us on deciding on what to order!!!!

From the moment we made eye contact to the time we received our food...it was a great experience. Steve and the lady at the register were so welcoming and kind. They made sure I got the best order and my flavors weren't overlapping. The food: SOOOOOO ONO!!!!! We tried the garlic shoyu chicken, snow, and the supreme and literally the best wings ever. My favorite was the supreme. My son had the spicy chicken sandwich and man oh man was that spicy!!! If you like a good kick...go for it! Great experience and definitely a place I would bring visitors to.

I just ate the largest chicken sandwich I have ever seen. I mean, you might think that Popeyes and Jollibee have large chicken sandwiches and you are right! They are large. But Steve's chicken sandwich is ridiculously LARGE! There must be twice the amount of chicken in this sandwich! The container couldn't close and the sandwich was bursting out of the container!Is it good? Yes! But let me get into the specifics..... The sandwich is so large that it actually suffers from being too big. My first bite needed way more flavor. The chicken itself is not heavily seasoned so it's actually quite bland. Adding salt doesn't help - it needs more herbs or spices or brine. It is a large piece of chicken and it needs some kind of brine or seasoning to make that bite sing. However, all is not lost, the sandwich actually does pack a punch (I got the pesto sandwich BTW). The punch and flavor is on the bottom! Unfortunately I was several big bites in before I realized it. The onions, sweet pickles, dressing, pesto, cheese was mostly on the bottom. I took a bite from the bottom and it was a sweet delicious concoction! But by then my sandwich was falling apart. At that point I used a fork and knife. Even then, I had HUGE pieces of chicken that I had to eat. So maybe the answer is to turn it upside down in the wrapper and eat it that way? The sandwich was around $14 for the sandwich alone so it's pricey - but you get a lot.Overall, quite an experience and good service.If you are hungry and want the biggest chicken sandwich you have ever seen, go to Steve's! But take it from me, rotate the sandwich before eating and you will enjoy the first few bites a lot more!

Tasty and crispy wings! Well lit and clean spot. The counter staff was nice and efficient.We got the original wing and fry combo. Wings were delicious and perfectly cooked.The fries could have been crispier, but they hot the spot.

Kind service all around, I appreciate the enthusiasm and patients with our question on their menu. He recommended this sandwich as it's good with the protein! Love it so far, the portions are great too

Juicy, tender, flavorful, finger licking, five pieces of mild seasoned chicken wings moist on inside and crispy on the outside. Definitely worth $13.99. To go establishment features a combo choice of fries or rice and fountain drink for extra $6.99. Thin, crispy fries ideal for dipping in excess sauce. Raspberry iced tea with perfect amount of crushed ice was refreshing on a hot day. Worker and Owner are very friendly. I asked the worker, "Which flavors are popular?" She mentioned the flavors are garlic shoyu, snow cheese powder, and seasoned chicken wings I can choose either mild, medium or spicy. I'm thinking, "Wow! I'm sold on the flexibility of choices for spice level in seasoned chicken wings." Worker asked me, "If I'm ok with waiting 15 minutes as they will make more chicken?" Owner apologized for wait time due to making a big order earlier this morning. I said, "Yes." Worth the 15 mins wait. Located in Pearlridge Mall Food Court ground floor. Garlic shoyu and snow cheese powder chicken sounds appealing on a future visit.

I just love when you randomly stumble upon a real gem. Steve's is located in the Uptown food court next to Tilt and Genki Sushi. Steve's sandwiches are HUGE, JUICY and packed with oozing FLAVOR. This unassuming food court eatery brings so much value to the food scene there. Tried Mom's Chicken Sandwich and Steve's Hot Chicken Sandwich. Both were a definite hit. Steve's hot chicken sandwich definitely packed a lot of spice. *Spicy tip: there's different levels of spice as the menu shows. Don't be discouraged by $13-16 sandwiches. They are HUGE and will absolutely fill you up. You'll be just as full as eating a plate lunch for the same price. PLUS, the quality is absolutely there. We got to talk to the owner, Steve, and you can see his pride and care for his business, food and employeed radiating from his sunny smile. He cares so much about the QUALITY of his ingredients. The lettuce was fresh and crispy. Pickles were crunchy and briney. Even the onion were sliced thinly with care. The star of it all was the massive juicy chicken though that was fried to crispy golden perfection. It was a pleasure to taste the love in his culinary artistry. I only hope to spread the word about this wonderful business so Steve can open doors island wide!

Great chicken and friendly service.Located in the Pearlridge "Mauka / uptown" food court where Church's Chicken used to be.I ordered the garlic soy and the flavor was great. The chicken was moist. The chicken wasn't as crispy as other KFC places, but it didn't need to be. Ordered the chicken again for a party and stuck with the garlic soy and it was a winner. The mustard wings was good too! I didn't think I would care for it, but the mustard sauce was perfect. Steve is a nice guy. Always smiling and greeting his customers. They pass out Korean snacks like choco pies to customers. I'm coming back to try other flavors. I have my eye on the egg salad chicken sandwich!

Randomly came across this little restaurant and by far the best Chicken Sandwich I've had in years! Owners were engaged and made you smile by being there. Highly recommended!
