Steak Teppei

Who knew steak could be good at a food court? We tried it once and I can't get over how delicious it is so we keep coming back. I always get the garlic ribeye and have also tried the shrimp which is also good. The steak is so flavorful and cooked well considering this is a mall food court. This is good for lunch when you're extra hungry or for a take home dinner. I usually have leftovers as it's plenty of food. The garlic soy sauce pairs well with the steak and rice. Otherwise it might be too salty in its own. The garlic salad dressing is great too. This meal is pricey but you are getting quality casual food for a fraction of what it would cost at a sit down restaurant. I recommend giving Steak Teppei a try if you're nearby.

Well. The food sure looked good and smelled good, but I'll never know because I was standing at the counter waiting, and NO ONE bothered to take my order?Don't get me wrong, the chef was working hard, and so was the staff, but the order taker was doing something else. Someone could at least have told me they would help me as soon as possible, but they looked at me like I was the invisible man lol. I saw other people waiting at the counter as well, before they gave up. They seem popular, and the food looks great, but they need to fix their counter service.

Amazing how times have changed and all these new eating places are showing up in the mall food courts! Steak Teppei where wagyu steaks and shrimo is served, 4oz, 8oz and 16oz. Plates are on the pricey side and food is made to order. Lots of seats to eat your food. I didn't know what to get because it was my first time here so I got the wagyu bowl. 4oz of steak . Yummy, what a great snack, it came with a bowl of rice and some toss salad. And you have a choice of a variety of dressing. This steak is not something I would eat all the time only because it's pricey. But it's good.

This is REALLY good steak, all from a food court place (no, really). I was craving this style of Japanese steak and feeling a bit adventurous, so I checked this place out, and I'm extremely happy I did. The portions are massive, the steak is absolutely mouth-wateringly perfect, and the price isn't too bad for Hawaii. It's still in a mall food court, though, so don't exactly expect white table cloths!

We did the 4oz garlic rib eye steak and cream garlic shrimp combi $24.95 upgrade for 8oz for $30.95 but i decided to get a side of karaage chickenEverything was tasty and we were happy with our choiceLiked how they put a plastic barrier between rice and protein in the plateServed with a great helping of spring mix and it was a great meal for me and my 2 kids

Hands down one of the most expensive take out steaks & shrimp I've ever had but I love sauces and they've suckered me in with their garlic dressing. It's supposed to be for the salad. I order it for the steak too !

Don't be fooled by the location, for food court food this was my favorite! I ordered the #1 Garlic Ribeye 4 oz Steak w/ Cream Garlic Shrimp and it was delectable! The meat portion was tender, seasoned well and was a perfect amount and they gave more shrimp than I was expecting. The creamy garlic sauce paired well with the shrimp and the steak sauce gave the meat an extra kick of flavor. The order was about $25 which was high for food court food but the quality was top notch. The service was good and the area was clean. There was a lot of open seating available, restrooms nearby and other variety of food options nearby. It is located in the food court on the first floor in the Ala Moana Center where parking is free! If you're in the area I highly recommend checking this place out!

One of my favorite chicken karaages on Oahu even though this is technically a steak place. I have yet to try the steak, but the chicken is juicy and flavorful and I love the sauces + seasoning that comes with the meal. It is pricier than a lot of the food court options, but it is a lot of food and quality. The food always comes out fast as well even though this food court is constantly busy. Again..... ate before I could take a picture, but there was so much chicken the take out box couldn't fully close. Definitely recommend for a quality quick mall eat!

What did you say? Wagyu Steak! One of the best steaks I had in a long time... Yup, Can't believe you can get it at Ala'moana Food Court... but they only serve 30 Wagyu steaks a day... so get it while you can... but no worries if you can't get your hands on one, the Garlic Ribeye Steak is sooo soft juicy and delicious ... and so filling also... you can also upgrade on sizes... and I love that they cook it right infront of you. They are so friendly and service was great. And I'm glad they upgraded the food court, it seems a lot more bright and inviting now. But I would still maybe take the plate across the street to the park and enjoy a nice lunch date.Teppei is located in Ala Moana food court, they serves up mouth watering plates of steak, but also makes an amazing garlic shrimp plate... it is so picture worthy ... I would recommend the steak and shrimp combo. And if you are not in the mood for steak or shrimp , they also make a delicious crispy chicken karaage (fried chicken plate)! And make sure to get their sauces... the garlic and sukiyaki ones were my favorites... so go treat yourself you'll thank me later...

We walked around the food court to try something that wasn't a common food chain. We saw the guy cooking steak and it looked tasty. Price was on the higher end, but hey, it's Hawaii. Got the 8 oz garlic steak and fried chicken. Steak was tender and that special garlic soy sauce was damn good with it. Give it a try instead of the chain restaurants.
