Highway robbery. After knee replacement surgery, at the surgery center, I was given a walker that was too tall for me. (That's a whole other story.) I found this out at inpatient rehab when my physical therapist pointed it out. He loaned me a junior walker to use at the facility. I ended up being ready to go home before the planned two weeks. I could not be discharged without the proper sized walker. I looked at all the places I could think of. If they actually had junior walkers, they were out of stock. The average price was less than $50.So the facility hooked me up with Stat Medical. To their credit, they got right back to me. I appreciate that. They could deliver a junior walker the next day. I figured it would be around $100. Nope. Boy, was I off. It was $170 plus tax! I took them to task on this, asking why it cost so much. There was no clear, believable explanation. But I was over a barrel and bought it.The guy delivers it the next day. He was going to leave it, but I made him open it up, adjust it properly, and remove the packaging. I found out too late that I could have gotten the same thing from another supply company for $86, delivered. I won't use this rip-off company again.

I came across Stat Medical while my mom was under hospice care at home. We rented a transport chair, walker, hospital bed, hospital tray/table and portable commode.They showed up on time whenever delivering or picking-up medical equipment. Each worker was professional, friendly and courteous. One particular worker (wish I had gotten his name) would always ask how my mom was doing and said to feel free to call them if we needed anything else or had any questions. The two workers who delivered the hospital bed even waited patiently to go over the features of the bed, while I tended to my mom's needs.Mahalo, Stat Medical. Your company made a difficult time for my family a little less stressful.

Incredibly poor communication. For the past three days I've asked them to deliver my mom's supply after 12 noon. They failed to do so. Today they didn't even bother to let me know they couldn't deliver it. What a bunch of careless, unprofessional workers.

This is the second time that my mother in law received medical supplies from Stat Medical. The first time she received a supply of oxygen and today she received a wheelchair. Raleigh was the person who delivered the supplies. He is such a professional at what he does. He is kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. He was able to share in detail the features of the items as well as how to use them properly. He was even understanding of my mother in laws barking dog. Keep up the good work Raleigh and know that your hard work is not going unnoticed. Your desire to do your best to help others shows !! Thank you
