Cancer sucks! It's something I never imagined to be so close to my heart, and St. Louis Alumni Clubhouse had their 2nd annual Cancer Awareness & Craft Fair as craft fair being an obsession of mine combining it with fundraising for awareness is something we should never forget is a continuous moment in our lives.Filled with vendors inside and outside with yummy foods by Ruby's 2.0, Crazy Dogs HI, Honolulu Burger Co, Dragon Tea Girls and so much more to fill your bellies to shop as the craft shopping throughout was just fantastic. I've crafted to express myself celebrating or just the shout out to express the moment leaves an impression in a comforting way and loved to have seen it everywhere is touching.Blood Bank Drive, Be the match info along with raffle to win various prizes which all goes to Donations for Hawaii Children's Cancer Foundation what a phenomenal event, kids dress up for Trick o Treating around the booths the vibe is so vibrant and positive what a wonderful show of love St Louis Alumni Clubhouse has shared with us all.Thank you!

If I had been born male, I would have attended St. Louis High School like my father, grandfather, nephew, and brother-in-laws did...These lucky alumni have access to the St. Louis Clubhouse - it has a bar and meeting rooms. It's a great place to get together since it has a free parking lot (and free street parking) and a convenient restroom. Enter the property on Coolidge Street or Isenberg Street.Recently, I was here for a travel presentation. Next door, there was another session for Special Needs consumers. The air conditioning was adjusted for the number of people in the room. There was adequate lighting, tables, and chairs. Our speaker used her own projection system and didn't need a microphone. There was enough space for about 50 of us plus a reception table and refreshment station. This is a good venue for all types of events. I can imagine it with all kinds of centerpieces, tablecloths, and party favors... just keeping this place on the back burner for possible future use... I'll ask my brother-in-law to get a price list...

Coming here is like walking into Cheers! Where everyone knows your name...unless you're not an alum. I'm obviously not an alum of St. Louis, but I come here to attend meetings. "A bar to have a meeting?" Yup because as others have mentioned, they do not play blaring music. They have several TVs which are set to the news or on sports channels. As others have mentioned, it's a bring your own food kind of place with popcorn being the only thing they serve. I can't complain as the popcorn is nice and salty which goes great with beers. I don't remember seeing anything on tap but they do sell bottled beer. My Newcastle beer was $4.50 a bottle. The bathroom is clean so no complaints there. Parking can be tight at times and street parking can be limited. #16 of 100 2016

Every time I've been to the St. Louis Alumni Clubhouse bar - it's been a damn good experience. The bartender - Kimmy is the best in the business and there is a waitress Wanda who is pretty fantastic as well. You can bring your own pupus in. There is always sports on the TV. And the patrons- there is always someone famous in there -from old days football players to nowadays sports stars to Coaches to those public servants you sometimes see on TV or read about in the news. Heineken I believe is $4.50 and is always cold. I'll be back- for sure.

A hidden gem! This little dive bar is awesome. It's a bring your own food, but if u get hungry they will help u order some deliver, and they have complimentary popcorn. What u love about the place: 1) I could hear my friends when they are talking, no blaring music (omg am I getting old) 2) lots of free parking 3) the drinks are very reasonable 4) they have a large selection of vodka 5) and they have one of those electronic machines with photo hunt and trivia.I think I'll be going here more often!

Haven't you driven by this place before? I have and decided to check it out the other day. This place is open to the public daily! You can order food from the kitchen and bring it around the corner. In fact you can bring in any pupus you like! It's BYOF! They have a regular Karaoke selection and have the major sports games on several TVs. The staff was really friendly and nice. See my pic for the current prices.

We rented the St. Louis Alumni (SLA) hall for our daughter's 1st birthday party. The venue is spacious (230+ people), includes tables, chairs, A/C, juice jugs, bar, restrooms, ample parking that extends to the First Hawaiian Bank parking lot in the adjacent lot (only after bank hours). We wanted a venue that allowed us to bring in our own appetizers, was reasonably priced and was air-conditioned. SLA was the perfect option that fit all our criteria.Booking the venue was easy. We just called the phone number and requested the date/time and the office manager returned our call within the day. It was easy working with the manager. She was a delight and made things easy by emailing the contract to us and taking payment over the phone. They will also provide tours of the facility upon request. The SLA host who was working the night of our event was beyond extraordinary. She made sure to reserve parking stalls for our entertainers (music band, Lion Dances, etc.). Something I would never have thought to do. She also helped us empty the trash regularly and discarded the empty food trays, spot checked the restrooms to make sure it was cleaned and kept checking on us to see if we needed her. She even provided us a cart to haul decorations back and forth from the parking lot to the hall. The only downfall is we were only allowed to decorate 2 hours prior to the start of our event.

Had a good feel coming here for pau hana or a party. Staff is really friendly. No frills, casual dress, there's parking in the lot or next door. Here, everybody knows your name, a neighborhood hang out and most of all good fun.
