I used to work here, they have the most friendliest staff and their curriculum for their children are awesome. A great place for kids and a great place to work!

You will not find a more nurturing and academically driven program for your child than Sounds of Success. Besides providing speech therapy for those interested or in need, a unique service for preschools on Oahu, they will guide your child to achieve/exceed early learning standards for their age group. The amazing teachers get their students to reach these goals through art, role playing, singing, and various other creative activities that the families are welcome to join in on.My son grew leaps and bounds during his time at Sounds of Success! Not just academically, but socially. He once struggled in this area being he is an only child with a communication disorder. Ms. Liane, Mr. Justin, and Ms. Aubrey really encouraged appropriate social interactions within their classroom and during any extracurricular activities the student may sign up for. I cannot say enough about the highly qualified SLP's Sounds of Success has on staff. They have given my son a voice. He is now learning to manipulate sounds to form sentences, not just words. This time last year everything out of his mouth was a grunt. The SLP's a creative and encouraging which keep the students engaged. The fluency in my son's speech has grown so much since taking therapy at Sounds of Success that he recently started singing!! He's almost 4yrs old and never sang more than one or two words to anything because the words never came out fast enough, so he simply didn't sing. Now it's Itsy Bitsy Spider and the Moana soundtrack everyday :)Go check them out for yourself! You will find Ms. Laurie just as awesome as the staff she keeps :)

This school not only transformed my son but it transformed me to have hope in trusting my son with another facility. The place he came from really made it hard to believe people would take the time to cater and help your child grow....they exceeded that. This school is also NOT money hungry. When I first enrolled him they accidentally charged me twice because I paid by check and enrolled in autopay. They refunded me and gave me a credit back just for the mistake, this was not the only time they went above and beyond. Laurie the school owner is so generous and amazing, always professional, and welcoming no matter what. The staff is amazing, I could not be more grateful for the teachers my son had because they really cared and nurtured him. He is currently out of this school as I had to move but he remembers and misses them all!Within months my son was potty trained, happy, learning to talk more, and making friends. I left him at schooL knowing he would be safe and cared for. I got daily emails on what they did everyday, pictures, field trips, and even communication with his speech therapy teacher. They have a safe and secured play room for their kids, the other school my son went to they walked to a park where there were lots of homeless and trash everywhere and that didn't sit right with me. They coordinated May days, had gifts for parents on holidays that the kids made, and even projects to do with your little one at home. I can't give this school enough praise for the work they put into molding little ones, their consistency is outstanding across the entire school. Never once did I see any teacher or staff member do or act inappropriately towards my child nor anyone else's. This school really puts you and your children first.

I honestly cannot find the words worth describing this school! Since my son started SOS (which was in July), I have never seen such progress in all developmental areas in him (socially, developmentally, mentally, etc.). More importantly, I love how empathetic he has become towards others AND his attitude towards doing work (writing, coloring, drawing activities) has changed. He used to HATE doing anything that requires him to do work, but now, he always asks to do something. You can imagine, as a parent, how hard and difficult it must be for a child to have a positive attitude towards anything remotely close to doing any type of work that ISN'T tablet or technology related!One of my biggest concerns during this COVID period is how safe the school was going to be and what kind of precautions they would take to prevent the spread of COVID, because let's face it, young kids carries the most germs! BUT, SOS Preschool has definitely put my mind to ease! And let me tell you, they do NOT disappoint! They have their own policies in place that I just can't disagree with. If you're anything like me, and you genuinely care about the health and safety of everyone around you, this is definitely the place to go!During this COVD period, parents are not allowed to enter the building, but from the pictures that they post on their website and on their social media accounts, I can't wait for the day to enter the school and look at the different activities each age group does, especially to finally meet my son's friends! He constantly talks about them and talks about wanting to have playdates with them outside of school. BUT, through their online progress report system, I am able to see pictures of each child in his classroom, and the teacher have also added some fun facts about the child-which helps me to start a conversation with my son-to make like I actually KNOW his friends in his class!HONESTLY though, if you're a working mama like me, and you're looking for a preschool within a reasonable price range, you really cannot go wrong with SOS. They are literally just hitting all the positive points in my book and I could not have been more proud with my decision to bring my son here.Thank You SOS for all you have done with my son in such a short amount of time! I cannot wait to see what the future holds for him (seeing that he has one more year here), and I already have my mind set on which school to take baby number 2!

Sounds of Success is a wonderful preschool. I feel that the school is organized and very sanitary. The teachers always greet us with smiles and make us feel welcomed when we come to school. My child has grown so much since she started there. She feels safe and loves going to school and seeing her friends. SOS also provides parents an app called Hi Mama. This allows you to get daily progress notes about what your child does through out the day, academics on what he or she learned and all the fun activities. Sounds of Success was the best choice we made for our child. We can't wait for our next one to also start school.

I am very very pleased with the Sounds of Success preschool. My middle daughter ended up going to this school first about 6 years ago. It was when the school was in its first years of being open. The staff was simply amazing, the classrooms big and organized and the programs offered within the school through third parties was amazing. Now my youngest child, a four year old is here at the school and so much has changed. It has grown in size as the rooms have expanded. The satff has also grown and its nice to also to see some of my other daughter's teachers are still here. The classes such as swimming are still here. Now they offer hip hop dance class and little veterinary school. The teachers are very involved and know hownto really engage the students to understand and incorporate the six dimensions of wellness. The students have bright yellow shirts they wear to represent their school on field trips. Parents are encouraged to volunteer as well. They also have movie nights and other events that allow students and families to get together. The school is located in the back of Harbor Center on the brink of the water fronting Pearl Harbor. Parking can get a little tight so make sure you plan accordingly. If you are looking for a preschool for your little one, I would recommend this school hands down.

This is one of the top preschools on the island! The curriculum is rigorous and fun, but most importantly, the teachers and administration care deeply about the kids. This is not a daycare; it's a learning center! Yes, it's preschool, but preschoolers learn through play! The classrooms are centers based, where kids play in a center that focuses on a specific skill. They might be doing puzzles, or patterns, or letter recognition, but if you ask them, they're just playing!This preschool has a very secure location, where the front door has a camera, parents must be buzzed in to enter, and any visitors must be signed in by administrators. Parents and family members who are designated to drop off/pickup must sign students in and out daily. The site has a separate playroom which is a few doors down in the same building, so kids can have their playtime rain or shine!SOS also has speech pathologists on staff, so if your child needs a little extra speech help to get on level with their peers, they can accommodate that! If you decide to bring your child here, know that they will learn a lot, will be well cared for, but most importantly, they'll be loved!

My son currently goes to this preschool and we love it! He is speech delayed and since attending this school, he has been talking so much! He's enrolled in speech therapy at SOS and it's been helping a lot. The staff are very friendly and patient and the place is nice. Will definitely recommend this school.

Very great school. My two daughters loved it there and they always used to tell me what they learned and what fun activities they did that day. My older one started preschool in the year 2014 when she was two and the teachers treated the kids so well like they were their own kids and I really felt like I could trust this school to take care of them at school just on the first day.

I love this preschool. The teachers are great the principal Miss Laurie is awesome. The only thing lacking is a kindergarten program for late borns. Other than that the teachers really pay attention to the kids and its not just a preschool but a school that teaches them fundamentals for writing, reading, and math creativity. Also there speech program and teachers are the best.
