Food is always great here!Ordered dinner for our family Combo plates with meat Jun, bbq beef, shrimp tempura, bbq chicken. All items were delish and the sides are also super yummy! we will always go back and the service is just right! Try them out if you are in the area!!

This place is definitely a HIDDEN GEM located in Waipahu, right behind times. Lots of parking right outside the restaurant. As you enter, they make you feel like home. Jenny greets you with a big smile on her face. If you have questions she is happy to answer them. You can either take out or eat in. They have a dining area for you to sit. Food.... EVERYTHING WAS SOOO DELICIOUS!! The Kalbi was super soft. The meat jhun, you actually could eat it without the sauce. Super flavorful. My kids favorite was the Mandoo. Jenny's homemade mandoo is a winner! We definitely will be back!

My darling child is visiting from the east coast. I asked him to make note of all of the places it was important to visit, and of course Song's was at the top of the list for restaurants. This has been our favorite Korean BBQ for well over a decade, and will stay that way for a very long time. My standard order is a Meat Jun mixed plate, with the second selection usually being spicy bbq chicken. When I'm feeling decadent I ask for the Big Bone Kalbi, which is excellent and so hard to find in most places. Post COVID the restaurant is take out only, though they will occasionally allow people to eat there if there's a good reason and they have the space. They simply no longer offer ceramic plates and assorted sides and now use the few tables for food prep or storage. Now it's up to you to pick your favorite four sides instead of having some of each available. Portions are generous, so plan to make a second meal out of your choices. I guess you could share instead, but then you'd have to coordinate with a friend who wants similar things. I've tried that and prefer to have the entire thing to myself. The wonderful family who runs this neighborhood favorite is just lovely. They've built a wonderful rapport with their customers and it's so nice to see the interaction while waiting for the freshly made food. There are often kids running around, or sides being prepared, or a million other things being worked on ahead of time go make their days easier. Song's is located directly behind the Times supermarket on Farrington Highway, just down from the bus depot and in the same building as Wat Get Puerto Rican restaurant. A bit hidden, but well worth the search!;

Was craving some Korean plate lunch and this place hit the spot. No frills just great food typa restaurant. Shared a Meat Jun plate between 2 people and it was a a really good amount for $16! Loved this Meat Jun because unlike most places it wasn't very greasy and tasted very fresh. Really tasted homemade like halmoni made it. They even included a piece of Korean pancake. So nice of them. You get to choose your sides and I thought they were all pretty good. Service was very friendly and they take credit card! Don't know if they allow dine in rn- looked like it was only take-out. Pretty decent prices and will probably try the combo plate next time!

Great Food! Friendly service. There is no dine in service but you can eat your take out food there. The restaurant itself is in an old building with ample parking. So ambiance is so-so. But overall all the items I ordered were very delicious. Definitely a thumbs up

So yesterday was my 1st time checking this place out. I decided on the Kalbi plate and that was a good choice. Their Kalbi is so flavorful and so soft. Their plates comes with 3 pieces Kalbi, 4 choice vegetables, rice, and 2 pieces of Korean pancake. When I first opened it I thought "wow skimping on the sides." But actually the amount they give is perfect. The Korean pancake was so ono. I actually ate my whole plate yesterday and was full for hours. Definitely getting the Kalbi again. Today I went again because my boyfriend was craving kimchee soup. Today I ordered the meatjun and mandoo combo. It was good. My boyfriend really like the kimchee soup. If you're in Waipahu and craving Korean, this place is a must.

Food is consistently tasty and comforting. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. Recommend to all who enjoy Korean dishes and bunchan. Portions are large and filling. You'll never leave hungry. Whole in the wall goodness. What more can I say of this restaurant.
