Bought my first serger here and they were so helpful, although I spent about 1 hour there but the lady that was helping me was so nice. Thank you Lori, that was nice of you. They even offered me a instructional review just to help me understand my machine which I haven't taken up with them yet. Just been so busy but I have they number when I'm ready!! Fabric there needs a little updating but I found everything that I needed to go some sewing!!!

I've used Singer to service my Bernina, refurbish an old Singer sewing machine and even bought my Miele vacuum from them. Over the years, I have bought replacement vacuum cleaner bags too. Each time I went in there, it was pleasant enough, except for yesterday!...I went in to purchase more vacuum cleaner bags and was looking for a holder for the filters. I didn't want to buy the hepa filter because it is too expensive for me.When I arrived, I saw Ken, the salesperson who helped me in the past. He came to help me with the bags, but when a return customer came to buy a vacuum, he excused himself to help her. In the meantime, another man asked if he could help me, but thinking Ken was gonna come back, I told the man that I would wait for Ken. Well after a while, Ken asked that man to help me because he was gonna be a while. That was fine because I had the bags I needed and just wanted to see if there was another filter holder available. I had been looking at the filter holder and noticed that it is a hinged "cage", but the hinges were not with a real hinge, just the molded plastic. Where it bends was lighter than the rest of it, so I asked the man if he had another one because I was concerned that the bending to open and close would cause it to break. He told me he had not seen one break in 25 years and then rummaged through the very disorganized drawers and came up empty. He then told me "That's why you should buy the hepa filter". I told him I did not want to spend $75 for that filter. He then said I can give you a 90 day warranty. and I responded that I didn't think I would be changing the filter that much in 90 days. He then sarcastically said, "Well, I'm not going to give you a 10 year warranty!"....What? I did not ask for that, nor did I expect him to give that kind of warranty. I was quite annoyed with his sarcastic comment. I told him I would just take the bags and then said "I don't like you, you are very rude!". He told me that he was not rude and that I must be having a bad day. I then told him he was being very unprofessional and that's when he told me "I am the owner!"....as if that was going to make it all ok for him to speak that way. By then the sales lady came over to ring up my sale and the owner (I now find out his name is Razz or Raj) starts telling me "Do you want the bags or not?" I told him, that I had the Miele vacuum cleaner and needed the bags and again that he was just rude!". He then started telling the sales lady that I was having a bad day.I had been there in the past and had chatted with the saleslady in length about her kids, etc. and it had always been pleasant enough. As a salesperson myself, I know you can think anything, but you just simply don't say it. I restrained myself from calling him a jerk (even if I really wanted to )....I like to shop local but this time, when I came home I checked on Amazon and they have the same bags for $18.95. He sells his for $24.95....I had purchased 2 boxes and had given him $50 of my hard earned money. I ended up going back to the store and retuning the vacuum bags. When I arrived, all of them were sitting around talking among themselves, no customers in the store. The saleslady was nice and came to take care of my return. She quietly let me know that it was a unfortunate incident. I guess that's the last time I ever shop there.I was actually looking at the Miele "robot" vacuum unit, but guess I will get something else. Maybe he was having a bad day since except for that lady, I was the only one in the store (no business).

Hospitality is NOT within their vocabulary! My husband parked in one of their stalls and went into the shop to look at sewing machines. He was meeting his mom there but she was running late so he walked over to the fishing supply store next door. While he as looking around the fishing store, the store got a call to advise that my husband would have to move his truck out of the singer assigned parking stall because he "walked in and walked out" and was not a customer (what the Singer employee told the parking attendant). My husband attempted to address with the employee at Singer who complained for him to move his truck without resolve. They lost a sale today and due to their lack of service, we will likely never go back. I can understand with the recent development of the SALT area that here maybe "parking wars" going on but as a business you also have an opportunity to grow a customer or alienate a customer. Once you alienate the customer; much harder to win them back. Hope they consider that for the future.

Beware the cockeyed saleswoman. Asked about machines. She gave a quick overview of one(1) machine. Then these were her exact words: "Shall I wrap it up for you then?" I told her "not today because we're still deciding..." Before I could finish my sentence that cockeyed trash turned her back and uttered "thanks for coming" in such a sarcastic way I was stunned. She just walked away and sat down like I wasn't welcome. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!
