I got a gift certificate for one of her workshops and been trying to contact the owner or staff. It's the worst customer service I ever received and I want a refund already. I tried contacting them 3 different ways by email, Facebook, and phone, but the owner or staff didn't contact me. I emailed her about 1-2 weeks ago and then thought she must be busy so she wouldn't contact me. Then, I tried asking on her Facebook page on Saturday and she saw my message, but didn't bother to respond. I tried calling today and again no answer, no one tried to call me back. I'm just furious. According to Google, her business is closed, but if it's closed, she should at least write a notice to all her existing customers and those that have gift certificates.

What a fun place!! I had my bachelorette party here and it was a blast. Everyone had so much fun and the pieces all came out beautifully. Melissa was patient with our somewhat difficult group and made sure everyone was helped and that we were all happy with our artwork.I highly recommend this place and hope to go back soon

Release your inner artist and stop by for some relaxing, craft-therapy. Everyone can paint! Operated by Melissa and her Simply Honeybee team of artists, this quaint shop and art studio is located at the North Shore just outside of Haliewa. Sharing space upstairs in a little green building with Scoop of Paradise. (be sure to stop in for a treat while you're there too!) They welcome walk-ins and individual sessions, offer parties both in studio and at home, for all ages and crafting abilities. Everything from wall decor to kitchen tables, visit their facebook page or website to view galleries.Parking: There are a handful of spots right out front and a few in a driveway just before passing the building, and more still in a turnout across the street. Studio & Shop: Spacious and well lit with natural lighting. On a good day there is a nice breeze. No a/c obviously so plan ahead and dress comfortably. The walls are lined with shelves to hold a wide variety of Cece Caldwell paints, wood stains, and acrylics. It's fun to stand in front of the wall of colors, picking our your paints. They have a customer key for the restroom. The shop has all sorts of completed signs, art and furniture for sale, plus take-home kits (your choice of wood, pre cut vinyl designs and paints) you can purchase.** I organized a paint party for a whopping 16 people and the studio was very accommodating with room to spare! Three friendly and attentive artists were on staff to assist us with our pre-selected pieces. Just about everyone in the group had decided on the Surfboard sign, each with a customized name and image. Expert quality! Not a single vinyl template was misspelled or forgotten, every material for the day was set out and ready to go. With such a large group, you think to expect that something will be amiss, that someone will be disappointed, but no kidding -everyone had a great time. The one or two people who fretted about their color choices or a mishap with dripped paint or removing a vinyl template, were set at ease with the assistance and assurances from the Simply Honeybee artists. Not a single attendee failed at creating a fantastic work of art -I really mean it when I say EVERYONE can paint! I was pleased that we were also able to bring along some snacks and waters for the group, which I set up on a folding table (also brought) at the back of the room. People were able to mingle and snack while waiting for paint to dry. In total, the party took about 3 hours from start to finish. Thank you Simply Honeybee Team!Custom Orders:Now I get to gush. Melissa and her staff are awesome! I sent a photo of a piece I'd found on Pinterest, asking if they would be able to design something similar for me. It a very quick turnaround, they expertly crafted a similar design and I was able to paint it and bring my vision to life. I'm very satisfied with their party services, attention to customers and detail, and their overall products.

So much fun! What can be better than a group of ladies fulfilling their Pinterest craft fantasies? :) Melissa helped me set up a part of eight at my friend's house where we ate and drank while making awesome personalized sign art. It was the perfect idea for a party since everyone got to take home something they would actually be proud to display in their house. I've been to some painting parties and the canvas painting always ends up not matching my decor or the subject/theme is not my cup of tea. Not so here...you will be able to choose which sign you want ahead of time (see http://www.simplyhoneybeeart.com/). My sign is now my favorite thing in my kitchen! I'm so pleased with it.Side note: Even if you are the least craftiest, clumsiest, most uncreative person, you will have NO problem making your sign. You'll be able to pick what colors/style of sign you want and get all of the help you need from Melissa and her crew. Can't wait to have an excuse to organize another sign party!

A fun shop full of handmade decor, refinished furniture and hardware. Melissa and her team offer the entire line of CeCe Caldwells Paints products, brushes and hardware. They also offer painting and sign making workshops including private party bookings. I love this shop!!

Spending Saturday morning at Simply Honeybee Art painting with my daughter-in-law and niece was so much fun! Melissa and Jenene helped us to design projects that made it completely our own. They patiently guided us through the process and 3 hours later we had works of art that we loved! The ambience is cozy and inviting and coupled with the super delicious fresh baked goods from Mimosa Bake Shoppe (be prepared to want to eat more than one), this is definitely a place I will be returning to in the near future.

I believe in paying for quality work-price is not an issue. My consultation was all over the place: the employee called the owner multiple times to ask questions which was a little annoying and frustrating. I am happy that my order was completed before I flew off island, however I was not satisfied with one of the pieces. The font was not discussed and so I did have a certain expectation for what I envisioned the artwork would look like. Additionally the color was not what I asked for. I met with the owner and she stated she would have to charge me for a do-over and it will take weeks. If a customer is not satisfied with the order why would they have to pay? I asked how much it would be and she stated "I will have to think about it." I am not a fan of poor customer service or poor business etiquette. I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience and have not heard from the owner to discuss my order.
