We found this location on a whim. Shorefrye is on top of the international mall. There were not a lot of food options available at 11am but their appetizers sounded amazing. The location does seem to have a parking garage with 3 floors but we walked to this location from our hotel. We were seated on the patio right on the ledge. It gave a great view of the street and shopping. Perfect view of the ocean which was a few blocks away. For our appetizer lunch, we got the Shorefyre fries, ahi tuna tacos and popcorn ahi. The fries had a little batter-ish taste and feel but was a little bland. The tacos were amazing and delicious but full of sprouts. The popcorn ahi was a little disappointed. I was expected a little raw tuna bites but they were fully cooked and a little bland as wellHowever, the drinks and service was amazing. I loved our server. Overall. The view, service and drinks were good. The food was okay... nothing to brag about and it didn't wow us.

There are two Shorefyre locations in Waikiki. This one is located on the strip in a busy open air mall. The vibe is a little more upscale and the restaurant turns into a club at night. We stopped in for some happy hour food and drinks after a busy day of sightseeing. Happy hour is 3-6 pm every day! We tried the Hawaiian Mai tai, some fish tacos, and wings. The food was just ok. They seem to put teriyaki sauce on everything. This location has a nice outdoor patio and live music.

Celebrated Christmas with a brunch at Shorefyre International Marketplace. Easy to meet venue with sooo much parking available. Remember to validate the ticket and use the parking pay box to pay the charges. The place is bigger than it looks from the outside and from past yelp pictures. We got a table on the lanai overlooking a nice part of Kalakaua avenue. At first, I didn't want to have an outside table but it turned out to be breezy and pleasant. The waitress was courteous and efficient. Our orders turned out well. The coffee brulee i had was smaller than expected but it had potent coffee flavors that perked me up from being sleepy.Surf shack ambiance but it worked well to me. Happy Holidays

My friend and I were looking for a late night spot during a weekday and it was nice to find Shorefyre. It's a nice spot in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. We appreciated being able to sit outdoors for our meal. The staff were really kind and communicative. My friend wasn't able to eat gluten, so the waiter and even chef came out to chat with us about options and accommodations. It was really nice. Just appreciated the communication and late night option. Definitely recommend if your hankering for some food on a busy weeknight.

Solid food, great service and a cool location. This was a great place to escape the wacky crowded Waikiki breakfast places. Our server was super helpful and attentive. My buddy went with Loco Moco and I did the Surefyre skillet. Awesome flavors on both and crafted with love. Sit outside with the views of you can.

We made reservations to come here before happy hour ended. There wasn't anyone at the hostess stand for a little while but someone did come to seat us. We were seated inside in a somewhat cramped booth. Our server came and started out by saying that he was really busy. We understood and tried to make everything as easy as possible. We ordered drinks that were really good. However, the drinks were the best part. The appetizers we got were terrible. Maybe because it was the end of the happy hour? I'm not sure. The fries were cold, so soggy, and very bland. The hamachi crudo was cut weird and very stringy and chewy. The shrimp was also somewhat bland. The Brussel sprouts and sausage was good. For entrees, the fish tacos were also quite bland. My friend did not like her kalbi and I did not want to try it. The Mac nut mahi was ok. My dish was the 50/50 loco moco and it was the best of them. Out water was maybe refilled once, even though we asked. We were all dry by the time we left. I feel like I've seen pictures of everything looking beautiful and delicious so I think I was just disappointed. Maybe if we got to sit outside, had a less busy waiter, and came at a different time and ordered some different dishes, it would have been a bit better.

Overall great dining experience with attentive friendly service, live music and delicious food, with 2 hour parking validation in international market place as well, nothing to complain about!Great spot to come here for a nice meal in waikiki. Also a good spot to use your $25 open table voucher if you have one - it's one of the few restaurants that lets you redeem for a $25 value. My fav item here is the kids teriyaki chicken bowl. It came out hot with succulent and flavorful strips of chicken over rice and vegetables. What a wholesome meal for kids. Too bad my kid doesn't like veggies so I'll eat them instead lol. I got the nachos and holy moly they brought out a tray lol you know the kind of aluminum tray that holds your burger, pickle and fries? Yeah, it's for all my nachos with yummy cheese, steak and the works. The only thing I wish is the cheese comes out more melted. Husband got the melt. Forgot what's inside but he said it's good. I took a bit too. Savory. The live music that day was great. A guitarist singing some Hawaiian songs. Added a lot of ambiance to our lunch while sitting outside with fans running to keep us cool.

Absolutely outstanding! While on a tour, the host highly recommended Shorefyre as a place to dine so we decided to check it out for Sunday brunch and it did not disappoint!!We both had the Kalbi and eggs which was by far the best breakfast we've had in Hawaii! I had mine with rice as listed on the menu and my mom had hers with potatoes. We ordered the bubbly and juice option for $25 which is perfect for "bottomless mimosas" for two people. Our server was also incredibly friendly and attentive which made the experience even better!

We should have known how awful this restaurant would be when on a Saturday night there were wide open reservations and when we walked in there was nobody there. We were seated at a table that was still dirty. I should have listened to the poor reviews and chosen a different restaurant. We ordered 3 items. All TERRIBLE. 1) The kids Mac and cheese was inedible and tasteless . The sauce was gritty and lumpy and there was more sauce than macaroni. 2) surf and turf--steak was ordered rare. Came out well done so the waitress took it back. It came back out looking ok when I cut into the edge of it but when I reached the middle it was cooked to shoe leather. The cook must be a real prankster because a steak fully cooked in the middle must be deliberate with the edges rare. The waitress said it must be issues with their grill and gave 20% off the inedible 3/4 of the steak. 3) macadamia nut crusted mahi mahi--this was probably the best of the three but the macadamia nuts were burnt. Maybe their burgers or sandwiches are better? But I'll never know because I have no intention of ever returning.
