Shaka Time Hawaii

Found original palaka shirt and shorts, even has the coconut shell buttons! On iwilei street, you have to go up a ramp on second floor of building. Kinda hidden, lots of parking. So happy I got my size in shirt, but not the matching red shorts. It's ok, I got gifts for my friends, as we all love, Palaka prints! They offer aloha wear for woman and men. Some kids, family matching. Wedding, Hawaiian muumuu, as well. Staff were very friendly and attentive, shop is very small, but big enough to find what I wanted. If looking for aloha wear, and palaka clothing, check this place out. Quality clothing, you can see and feel in the material. Definitely coming back! See you there.

Came into Shaka Time at 2:45 PM about 15 min until closing and was still welcomed in and this is the day before Thanksgiving Day. We ran into traffic coming from North Shore. Carlos was really helpful every step of the way and made sure we found what we needed even staying almost 30 min after closing. He was really understanding and never rushed or hurried us out the door and really showed he cared about his customers. Shirts and dresses are pretty affordable for the quality you get. We left the store and got our lu'au couple set and was really happy with the service. I have no complaints and will definitely come back if I decide to purchase any future shirts or dresses when we are ever back in Oahu.

I am so pleased with the garments I ordered from Shakatime. My husband and I are celebrating our 50th anniversary in July. I bought a Hawaiian white wedding shirt for my husband and a white wedding muumuu for myself. They are so perfect. We need plus sizes and the fit is excellent! The fabric is a subtle beautiful hawaiian print cotton that I love! I would give them ten stars if I could. Thank you Shakatime!

Walked in and was greeted right away. The salesman was very informative showing us the fitting room, and letting us know if we don't find something we like they could order it from the warehouse. Their style just wasn't my type. I would say they had more mumu's than anything else. So if you're young like me and looking for a jumpsuit or romper, this isn't the place for you

Excellent service. I started this review in 2021. I am just now coming back to it. I've entered this store on multiple occasions since then and every time I get excellent service. They stand by their products and are just great people.

Service was excellent. They were very helpful and accommodating. They shipped our merchandise to the mainland and the recipient was very excited and happy to receive it in time to celebrate a special occasion. Thank you so much. Great place for all your island wear needs! I ordered from them online a little over a year ago as I was moving to the Marshall Islands for a while and needed some muumuus. The products were high quality at a good price, and looked great, too! One of the items I had originally ordered was out of stock, but the customer service department was very helpful in allowing me to choose another skirt instead - even at a small discount! Everything arrived quickly and I was really happy with my purchases. I would recommend them to anyone and gladly go back to them in the future.

Beware! Beware! Beware! Purchased dress for graduation gift. Recipient informed me of defect in workmanship, i.e., major three-inch tear at side seam. Even though purchase was made only a few weeks earlier, ShakaTime refused to exchange the dress when alerted (including with photos) to the defect.

I have looked everywhere online for a long sleeve man's Hawaiian shirt. I found one here... and I'm thrilled. The material is perfect, sizing perfect, and speed of sending outstanding. I called today to ask some questions, and the phone was answered with the friendliest Aloha. I can't wait to go here in person! Thank you for helping me find one of the toughest things to find... a high quality regular fit man's shirt with long sleeves. I look forward to buying many more.

Carlos and the rest of the customer service team has been awesome and helpful. My family and I came across last minute changes in our reservations and they were very helpful with the last minute changes (pretty much one day notice).
