I was able to book a last minute appointment The massage therapist was on time,the place was clean and Arisu was great she was able to put enough pressure on my shoulders to release the muscles that were locked up.

I have had three great experiences at Serenity and Massage. However this fourth one was not good. The therapist was very kind and polite. The massage was very unorthodox from all massages I have experienced including the three here. The style was indistinguishable, different from one limb to another, one side would receive a style and then the other side maybe nothing at all. I did not identify technique or training. The movement around the room was gruff, loud, and sheet movements were abrupt, uneven and not normal. The sheets were always tangled up, not folded, one hand in/one hand out, and disheveled. It felt like there was not defined style, best practices, helpful movements, or professional training behind the process. It's hard describe, but it's almost like a friend that does not massage people for a living offered you a massage and because they are so nice you would not expect much or get much. I emailed the location and responded that I was unsatisfied and received no response.

UPDATE: the owner was very gracious and reached out to me, and I went tonight to get another 1 hr massage tonight. This time, the person giving me the massage was Alexia. From beginning to end, she addressed my needs of concentrating on my upper back and went beyond that. The pressure was perfect, and I can honestly say it was one of the best massages I had. Not only did her massage strokes seem methodical, but the massage was relaxing and she seemed like she genuinely wanted to give me the best massage.I'll definitely be back and request Alexia :). Thank you again to the owner for providing great customer service
