Shucks I didnt get to take pictures this time around, but let me tell you, Seoul Food has amazing Korean Bbq. They are located in between Foodland and Goodwill in Wahiawa Shopping Center. Prices are reasonable for the portions they serve. Honestly two people could share a meal. Their Meat Jun is delicious, along with their Kalbi and bbq chicken. They wait for the food wasnt long, customer service was nice. They only have outside seating if available. Most people will just order and take their food home to eat. If you're ever in Wahiawa you need to stop by this little hole in the wall, I promise it will be worth it..

After seeing Yelp buddy Rod's photos of his meat jun, I came here a couple days later.Mister and I split the combination meat jun and bbq chicken. Such a huge portion, we could only eat half. The meat jun was delicious and tender, best if dipped in their sauce. The bbq chicken didn't have much flavor, and could have used some char on the outside, it looked and tasted bland. The chicken katsu my son got looked delicious, he couldn't finish all of it since they gave so much. Will definitely return for the meat jun and probably try the kalbi. They are located between Goodwill and Foodland. Plenty of parking.

If you were a fan of Dong Yang's meat jun, this is for you. The former owner of Dong Yang has relocated and opened a new spot with what many claimed was the best meat jun on the Island.I beg to differ but...Thicker than most, with a very simple rub with soy sauce (not marinated in a sweet soy concoction) then coated in a salted egg batter before being deep fried. Like most take out spots, the batter does slide off the meat and is a bit oily. The sauce, simple soy and vinegar.Like with the original Dong Yang, other dishes are lack luster because of the lack of sweetness and extreme saltiness. The BBQ chicken, very heavily marinated in soy sauce. Grilling a plus but the sodium is so high. The spicy pork, thicker than most, simply marinated then grilled. Again, little sweetness. Extremely salty. No complaints on the simple fresh kim chee, pickled cucumbers, salted bean sprouts and salted cabbage.Inexpensive if you consider the price to quantity ratio. These are HEAVY plates. Regular plates average $17, combos $22 to $26 (for kalbi).OK but not worth going out of your way for unless you're craving the old Dong Yang meat jun.

Stormy Coffee Date stop 3. Obvi not for cofffee. But the hubs heard good things about the meat jun. We had just ate and had two coffees so we shared a plate without rice. Its really hard to mess up meat jun unless you cook it on a dirty surface. Dont get me wrong, it was good. I just have had better. What this place succeeds in is that it wasnt expensive like how plate lunches have gotten. Its in Wahiawa by Foodland. Little bit sketch but thats bc of location. I will still return here to eat.

Meat Jun Plate $16.95 and requested for no rice which staff honored. Veggies are preset and included shredded pickled cabbage, bean sprouts, pickled cucumbers, and kim chee. Customer service was on par. Worker was courteous. Order to go. There's a few stationary square tables and seats outdoors. Free parking in Wahiawā Shopping Center. Located between Goodwill Store and Foodland. Look for red and white sign. I personally didn't enjoy the taste of meat jun due to oil residue and barely tasted egg for every piece. Each meat jun piece didn't appear oily. Batter remained intact on meat for some pieces while others pulled apart. Dipping sauce was mild with shoyu base. I also didn't like how all of the pickled veggies tasted the same.

I love the meat jun here. It's the old Dong Yang cook. Once in a while I think there's a different cook because the taste change ever so often. Still love this place. So, hopefully you go on the right day and get the right cook. Please enjoy.

Friendly service and decent tasting korean bbq. This gem is tucked away in a shopping center corner with a few cement tables to dine at outside. Ordered the meat jun and mandoo combo plate. It came out heavy, so hopes were high. Mandoo was tasty and veggies all typical good korean. Meat jun without sauce lacked a little flavor (usually the meat is well marinated) but was very tender. Dip it in the sauce and you're good to go! Either way I always need to taste without sauce for the true quality test. Not top of the list, but definitely worth revisiting!

I wasn't sure about this place until a colleague told me who they were. So that same day I spoke with the staff and sure enough she confirmed what I was told, is true. But I had to try the food for the real confirmation. I ordered the kalbi bbq meat Jun plate...Bruh... it's really good. And the amount is abundant for its price. As for the location... it's in between foodland and Goodwill. I suggest take out .
