Amazing store with a variety of gift items. The merchandise is well-curated and appeals to both kids and adults. What first caught my eye were the Sanrio stickers. There were a bunch of water-resistant Sanrio stickers (good for decorating water bottles), so I stocked up. The staff were friendly and helpful in showing me their new products. I saw a bunch of Baggu products and accessories. Baggu is known for their durable reusable totes and bags. I also saw Coopmonsters in stock, a local claw-clip brand. The store carried sold out designs that I've been eyeing for months. I'm so happy to have stumbled across this store. To top off my shopping experience, the store offers a 10% Kama'aina discount. I highly recommend checking out this store if you need to pick up gifts for your family.

This store screams support local and the inventory is unique with locally made products. Handmade baby outfits, blankets, toys and alike. My favorites are the yummy snacks unique to the island and sprinkled with li hing. The customer service is friendly as well as laid back with no pressures to buy. I feel like if you want to send something away to a friend on the mainland then this place is a good option. Especially if it's someone that has a new baby. Prices are a little higher than normal but you are supporting the local producer. There is a discount for being a local!

Adorable store! Well curated collection of children's toys, books, and more with vocational themes to get little ones curious about the world around them and explore their interests. They value sustainability and select materials that are intended to last longer (less plastics) when possible. I spoke with the store owner the day I randomly popped in to check it out and was inspired by her passion for her business and bringing her vision to life. Shop and support local! Quality products at an affordable cost and they offer price matching. Great place to look for unique kids gifts. My 7 yr old really enjoys the toys he picked out, and we'll be able to pass it on to his little brother when he's old enough to play with them. Same parking area as Kid City, located on the 1st floor.

I get my dog groomed at Johnny's Dog Spa in the Ward Village and I came across "Selfmade Something" across the way. First of all, the shop is absolutely adorable. If you have kids (or nieces/nephews, cousins, etc.), bring em' here. Every item is so thoughtful and sparks creativity... you can tell the owners really love what they do. Secondly, there was something in the store I wanted for my niece, but she lives on the east coast USA. Apparently they have an online store and can ship anywhere... ummm, yes please!! One less trip to the post office for me!! Definitely stop by if you're in the area, it's pretty freakin cool.

A Hidden Gem just opened at Ward Center across from Paul Brown Salon. It is operated by a charming young couple. It is a unique store that offers targeted playthings shopping in 12 categories. They offer a Kamaaina Discount and a reward if the purchase exceeds a dollar amount. Some Fukubukuro Bags are still available. You will not be wasting your time.
