Second Mountain Physical Therapy

I was recommended to Dr. Leah Lau Karp by Dr. Jay Marumoto due to an injury I sustained while working out at the gym. She's very friendly and has a great bedside manner. Her staff are very friendly and helpful. She reminds me a lot of my graduate advisor Dr. Gretel Ackermann, due to being an expert on sexual health and wellness and a little pervy too. The only difference is she's Chinese-Jewish and my graduate advisor is Austrian-American Dr. Karp's maternal grandparents are Holocaust survivors and my graduate advisor hails from Marietta, Atlanta, GA from an ardent Nazi SS/SD family on both sides. Not only is Dr. Leah Lau Karp an expert on PT, she's also an expert on sexual health and wellness. I think men need to see her too because she can help you with relationship advice too, especially after my family was disgusted that I had a vasectomy. I'm still in a little pain after my vasectomy from time to time, but thankfully not longer need narcotics, thanks to Dr. Karp's exercises.

I've been going to Leah for the past two years to treat the various injuries one picks up while playing basketball. She not only provides great treatment while you're there but also does a great job of explaining why she's treating you in a certain way. I really appreciate how she educates you so that you can continue helping yourself outside of her clinic. Do yourself a favor and see her for any of your physical therapy needs!
