It's a great place for the kiddos! We love that you get to learn facts about your ocean friends and even get to feed some turtles. My recommendation: call ahead to see what exhibits are open. We went on 2/13/2025 and the dolphin show was not happening (although interactions were), the penguins were not there, and the bird area was closed. While understandable, it's a bummer to have come all the way to this side of the island and not know about the closures.

We visited for the first time today and we will definitely be back! I have children 6 mos and 2.5 y/o and it was perfect! My 2.5 y/o could walk the whole park without being overwhelmed by size of facility and crowds as it is on the smaller side and we went during a week day and it wasn't too busy. The aviary was closed but with known cases of bird flu, that's a given. We didn't see any shows unfortunately, due to them being later in the afternoon. If your kids are older or your expectations are to experience something action-packed, then maybe this isn't the place for you! But with small kids, this was perfect. There is a wonderful little playground area with tons of shade to stop and have a little picnic or some shaved-ice! Sights, views and costumer service were all great! A little hidden gem!

Sea Life Park was a complete disappointment, and we won't be coming back ever. It was a total waste of time and money. The park seriously lacks attractions and desperately needs cleaning and maintenance. Their shows feel half-hearted and uninspired, with nothing exciting or engaging for visitors. The bird aviary was closed, which was one of the only things we were looking forward to. The turtles and dolphins were decent, but that's about it. The shows were too short, lacking any wow factor, and the park overall feels like it's in desperate need of improvement. The "highlight" of our visit was the cold beer and food court, which says a lot about the quality of the experience. We were done exploring everything--including all the shows--within two hours. The only show we missed was the shark feeding frenzy, which only runs once a day. To make things worse, the dolphin bottleneck exhibit was also closed.Overall, this place feels like it's barely holding on. Don't waste your time or money here unless you're just looking for a quick stop for overpriced beer. We won't be returning.

Welcome to Sea life park located on the east side of the island of Oahu in thee MAKAPU'U / WAIMANALO area. We checked out the park back in September 28, of this year 2024 on Saturday and surprisingly the park wasn't Busy/pack with park goers also kind of sad one of the exhibit was closed for the day (not sure what was the reason for the closure of this particular exhibit) For cost/fee for the park it varies from regular park fee & Kama'aina "local" fee and also kids that are 3 and under is free. (Please call or check their website for prices upon going) I wish sea life park would give a little UPLIFT on the park itself with more exhibits and Probablly more activities for the kids as well. Would i recommend people to check out this Sea life park YES YES YES But hope park goers don't expect a lot when coming to sea life park. As for how long of a time can u spend at the park I'd say 2.5 hrs is good no longer but again you can go longer then being there 3-4 hrs just keep going in circles (ahha) I believe for parking there is a PARKING FEE And a private lot area with no shade tho. Posted on 10/23/24

Save yourself the trip, gas, and money. No shows/performances scheduled for the day, penguins weren't out and bird aviary was closed (understandable because bird flu is a real thing). There is a playground for the keiki though (if you're into paying for your kids to play outside) You'll see more action at the aquarium. Here are some photos of what you will see if you do decide to go ...

Sea Life Park pales in comparison to its mainland counterparts such as SeaWorld. However, it is just the right size for O'ahu, albeit rundown and overpriced. On this most recent visit in October 2024, we attended the "Under the Sea Halloween Ho'olaule'a" event. There were no additional costs (for this event) besides the admission fees. Parking was a separate charge at $7.86 per vehicle. Credit cards are accepted.I searched their website and found general info about the event. However, they did not post specific times for the Ho'olaule'a activities and we missed some of them. Please see the pictures I posted. We only received a timeline of activities upon checking in at the admission counter. I was under the impression that the Ho'olaule'a activities were going to be all day. For example, had we known the keiki face painting was only between 10 am - 1230 pm, we would've arrived earlier, or made to sure visit certain exhibits by certain times. I could've planned the day better to take advantage of all that they offered.I understand that activity times may change due to unforeseen circumstances, but Sea Life Park could've provided an estimated timeline on the website with a disclaimer that times may change. They already had it printed on the fliers, so why not post it on the website?Although we weren't able to participate in all of the Ho'olaule'a activities, we made the most of it and had a wonderful time. Never say never, but it's unlikely we will return in the future.

We got tickets to the Aloha Kai luau and it included free entrance to the Sea Life Park. It was a small park, so you could finish it in half a day or less. It was cool that they had feeding time events for different sea creatures throughout the day. We were able to watch them feed the sharks, turtles, birds, etc. with a dolphin dance show at the end at 3:30pm which was so cute. The highlight of our visit was the bird feeding event which ran for a few hours. We walked inside the bird sanctuary through 3 set of gates to prevent the birds from flying out. The female staff was really sweet and she gave each of us a stick with grains stuck to it. The birds love these and will land on the sticks to eat the grains. You just have to hold them up and keep them still near a bird. It was so precious watching them munching. I even got 3 birds together at the same time.P.S. There was no Internet in this area. They offered Wi-Fi but it didn't work at the park or at the luau.

My family and I decided to come and check out Sea Life Park and we really enjoyed our experience here! It's small but they have a lot of fun things for kids and the dolphin show was really great! Parking - decently sized lotAdmission - we bought tickets at the window. It's on the pricier side but the park itself was fun and the view was nice. Love: - cute little aquarium area- bird exhibit was interactive - you can go inside with bird feed and they will land on you and eat from your hands- dolphin show - really great! - sea turtles - you can buy food if you want to feed them! Overall, it's small but really cute! My dad wanted to come here because I guess this is one of the spots 50 first dates the movie filmed at.

We really enjoyed Sea Life Park. It is in a good location near Hawaii Kai/Waimanalo and it is across from the beach. Parking is not included in the price of admission and can be purchased on the day of. They have a private parking lot with some shaded areas under trees. Note that some of the parking spots are small. Parking is included in 2 of the 3 annual pass tickets. We went for Keiki Day and enjoyed the events they had. They collaborated with Malama i na honu and they had a morning beach clean-up and then a special turtle release where they released 2 turtles back in to the ocean, which was such a once in a lifetime experience for us. They then had several booths inside Sea Life Park for kids to enjoy including face painting and educational videos. We really enjoy all the exhibits that the staff puts on including the ones about the honu, penguins, dolphins, and the hawaiian monk seal. They have an outdoor playground area for kids with a few benches surrounding it. There is also an outdoor dining area.Note: Kids (and/or their parents) can answer 10-question quiz online for the keiki to become a reef ranger and then go to any one of the on-site gift shops to get a free pin/magnet.

very disappointed as a local resident we paid 80+ dollars not to be able to see anything available only talks they do not divulge this before you pay your money to enter. I feel bad for the that probably for to go in and see absolutely nothing when calling the park they just gave excuses. Dolphins aren't ready. They need to be retrained which is understandable, but you need to let your public know so they can make a choice whether they want to waste their money looking at nothing. or go to the aquarium down in Waikiki or the zoo. when calling they offered no recourse only excuses telling me the weather was bad the whole time I was there, the sun was up. Park needs to be updated, filthy bathroom & tanks , really needs to be renovated for the price that you charge to go in update your park.*** Tourist, and locals do not waste your money or time***
