Fun and great new idea. You walk in with a small kind paint ball gun and there's 3-4 Zombies (real people)to shoot at. You get about 15 paint balls. Knowing what you are walking into would have helped me enjoy this better. There's no haunted house. It's simply just a zombie shooting. It's one small room. The zombies are behind a fence. You shoot them and your done. They might come after you and you can still shoot them. Just don't shoot the helpers. The helpers are a little too close making it a little dangerous for them, in my opinion.Give it a whirl, pretty cool. Will prob take some friends to shoot at the zombies before they are closed.

I was really excited about all of the haunted houses this year ... Haunted Plantation is ALWAYS the best ... But, this year I decided to try them all out.Let me just get to the point ... I spent $20 for this piece of garbage. You heard me .. garbage. The whole production felt too amateurish ... I wasn't even scared. Not once. This years theme was The Revenge of Dr. Carnage and Zombie Paintball bleh bleh. They couldn't even get that right. Having a bunch of people or 'actors' jump out and scream directly in your face really isn't scary, life threatening nor would it make me anxious. Seriously. It annoyed me to no end. The whole experience was just too stereo typical. None of the actors were convincing. It was like watching the worst B rated horror movie ever. It bored me and I wished they gave out refunds. I'd like to give them no stars ... that should be implemented here on yelp ... or to give out negative stars even that would suffice.Needless to say, walking through Dr. Carnage = BoringThe Zombie paintball = StupidConsidering the fact that years ago when I was in the states, I did the BlackOut Haunted House in LA and I lasted 3 hours in the McKamey Manor in San Diego .. nothing really compares to either of those haunted houses ... but they were more psychological as opposed to gory. They were on my bucket list and I'm glad I got the chance to do those two :) There's a wait list for the McKamey Manor if anyone's interested. If your a masochist, you'll love them! It's truly hardcore ... :DBUMP*.Would I ever go to Scream 808's 'haunt' again? Hellz NO! Not even if someone else paid for it! Save your money and make the trek to Waipahu and go to Haunted Plantation.

I have gone to this one for the last three years. It seems every year there are less and less props and money put into it. Rooms look very empty. Only decorations are trash bags and small kine stuff. It doesn't seem like they really try very hard. They just think making it super dark and having lots of strobe lights will hide the lack of decorations and effort. We waiting for 30 minutes to get in...and we were the only ones in line. It was a Monday night and no one was there! Why did we have to wait? The staff seemed rude and more concerned with socialzing with each other than the customers. I'm glad I didn't pay full price. Hello Groupon. Lastly....it was hard to find. It's on the backside of a building around back. There is NO parking. There was a sign saying free parking at Restaurant Row. Folks that's a walk... AND last time I checked restaurant row was not free. They didn't ask if we needed validation, so I assume they don't do it. They got two stars rather than only one because I liked their theme. I also liked their signs.

Junk...all the rooms looked homemade. Like a high school group of kids set it up. Not to mention the line to get in is retarded. Went one time, waited 45 minutes and was only half way before giving up. Came back during a weekday and had to wait 30 minutes. Price was like $15 or so and totally not worth it.

VERY disappointed. I wasted $30 (2 people) and it took us ONE MINUTE to walk through and shoot the zombies. I thought there'd be more, like an actual haunted house. It's usually a lot bigger and better than this. We go every year, we will not be returning next year.

If you go, get a fast pass. My wait was only 5 minutes or so.They made good use of the space, and of the audience's imagination. It's very dark in there. Very, very dark. I forgot that it wasn't real and was screaming my head off at every corner. I don't want to give anything away, but parts of it felt like I was in a Saw movie. Grownups were terrified and clinging to strangers. I saw a little boy cry. If you like being scared, this is your place. But if you have any kind of heart problems, don't do it. You'll probably have a heart attack.

Amateurish as all hell. This is worse than most home haunts you see for trick-or-treaters. The actors are devoid of passion, the design is terrible, lighting is awful, props are a joke. The zombie paintball is a great idea (which is done better at Bellows, to be honest), but fails miserably here. Overpriced junk!

In 2010, Nightmares Live Haunted House used this location that Scream 808 is now on. (805 Ala Moana Blvd) In 2011, Nightmares Live Haunted House moved to The Dole Cannery in Iwilei next to Costco. I took my kids to this Scream 808 Hollywood Horror and Twisted Fun House thinking this was still Nightmares Live Haunted House because of all the promos that were advertised on Scream 808's flyers saying "from the makers of Nightmares Live". Come to find out Nightmares Live HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH Scream 808 Hollywood Horror and Twisted Fun House. Scream 808 guys were using that to lure in people to their haunted house. We decided to take a chance and go in. Let me tell you the customer service was horrible and it was not even scary at all. We did not take advantage of any coupons that they had available so we paid full price. When we got out, I felt ripped off. I wanted a refund. Even if we got the cheapest discount, it wouldn't have been worth it.

This was soooo lame. I could have done a million different things with my 20$ then this. I went back in 2012 to the Kakako location and it was a trip. Way scary. The kind where you had to use your imagination. One room had a locked up child actress rocking in a chair calling for mommy. Another room had theater masks. Then one mask jumps out at you. Once we exited the house a guychased us with the chain saw. To be expected but still so scary. Does anyone Remeber this house?! This year 2015 the production was all about gore. So lame. Not scary at all, the actors just screamed at us. We were literally laughing at loud and the high school production of dumb masks. The paint ball part was pretty dumb too. My experience in 2012 with Sceam808 team was great. But felt very let down this year. I asked the lady at the door if she was at windward mall doing the evolution of fear and she said yes. The windward mall one a couple years back looked a lot like this one. Amateur!!!!Therefore I know I was going to be let down once going inside and most def was. I wonder if the company changed hands from the 2012 guys. I warn you do not go!Also. Surprised that I don't see more reviews this year for such a stinky sad experience.
