My family and I had a fantastic time here. We went there to celebrate my mom's birthday. There was a variety of items to choose from to paint. The staff was friendly and helpful and anticipated our needs. This is a great place to bring the kids and do activities with! Definitely check this place out.

My daughter had her six year old birthday here when the Covid maximum numbers were 10 and under. They decorated her area so beautifully. She felt so special. They made a banner and they put all the first graders together practicing social distancing. We really appreciated our painting teacher and Patti. They were so helpful, easy, and with no attitude. What a pleasure to have my daughters party here. Thank you so much, especially to our painting teacher. We appreciate you!!

This has to be the best arts and crafts shops I've seen on a military installation. They offer so many classes for adults and kids . My favorite thing is that they offer a framing class. I've been wanting to learn how to frame and they have a $75 class where they teach you . After completing the framing class which was about 2-3 hours . You get - card that allows you to frame your own work. After I took the class I went back and framed a few pieces. They provide the material and equipment you have to just paid for what you use plus a $10 a day fee for using the workshop. Also the ladies that work there are so nice and helpful so that of course makes it even better .

Came here for a Wounded Warrior Program function. We did a ceramic paint night here.It was so fun and simple! Just pick your ceramic piece from the shelves and paint! If you are making something that you eat or drink off of, you will have to ask them for the special paint. It will also have to be put in the kiln later to be picked up about a week later. They have tons of ceramic items to pick from. They have stuff for kids to pain and actually useful and cool things for adults to work with.I really enjoyed this place. It was very easy going here and the staff was friendly and helpful. They have various different events throughout the month: Wounded Warrior painting, mom and baby/kid art events, sewing, paint and sip (held at Tropics), and so much more. They are a cheap and easy way to express your artistic side and have some fun!

Came here twice with my 8 year-old daughter to paint ceramics. So much fun and so cheap. The price listed for the ceramics on the shelf is the final price. We used to go to Color Me Mine on the mainland. It's a chain where you can paint ceramics but at Color Me Mine you have to pay an hourly amount to use their studio, then you have to pay for the kiln and of course, you have to pay for the ceramics itself. I'm glad to say that none of those fees apply here. You pay one low price for the ceramics you pick out. Paint and kiln are included in their already low price. The employees are very friendly. You are welcome to come back as many times as you need or want to complete your project. You are never rushed. The only added price is for the mother of pearl finish if you want your ceramic to have a pearlized, shimmery look. I believe that is an additional $5. Please note that it does take approximately 1 week if you want your ceramic fired in the kiln. If you choose not to have it fired, you can take your ceramic project home with you the same day. We have ceramics that we have not completed because we want to take our time with it.Upstairs is the frame shop. Their price is very reasonable. We had an Ikea frame where the glass broke during our recent move. It's an irregular shape frame but they were able to replace the glass within an hour. I wasn't done painting my ceramics downstairs when they finished. The price for the glass is very reasonable but since it's an Ikea frame the original purchase price was almost cheaper than the cost to replace the glass. However, since there are no Ikea's here in Hawaii, I can't really complain. This place also offers art classes for adult and kids as well as wood shop and sewing classes.

The Schofield Barracks Arts and Craft Center is a hidden gem on the US Army Base, Schofield Barracks. Some of the things they do consist of Custom Engraving, Laser Engraving, Framing, Pottery, and a Complete Wood shop.I mostly use the wood shop, but have used the other facilities as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The wood shop has just about every piece of equipment you could want for large projects and small. Definitely a place to go to make or get something for friends or family.

Really enjoy this place. The times it's open is very confusing. It's closed on mondays. It's also closed sun-mon-tues for painting but open for sewing. Meaning it's closed more frequently than expected for people like myself that just want to paint. They're also closed unless you're taking and signed up for classes but when you call they tell you it's open (yes open for only certain people not the general public). Make sure to be very precise on that if you call and ask for information.
