Nothing salty about this place...Who knew there was a smoothie place here (raises hand!) luckily Nadine C did and showed me the way to Summer Frappe...!? We almost though they closed as there's no sign and as we literally walked up to their front door to see that they are indeed open was happy to see that but was puzzled and asked if this was a smoothie place. First thing you'll see is the load of crack seed filled in the classic jars lined up along the window so don't give up the search until you see them and you're here!Walking in to this cozy place you'll see a bunch of pictures of smoothies and display case filled with fresh fruits and as we scanned the choices Nadine noticed "Pennywort" which she says is a great healthy sip I admit I was afraid...! The lady says it's good and feeling the pressure I gave in and wanted to start my day fresh.Sip...oohhh it's yummy! As a Matcha lover I found it quite similar and refreshing, just love the simplicity and freshness of it all I was so happy to give something new a try and they do have a couple of tables if you need to take a bit of break this is a great fresh place to do so.Thank you!

Changed their name to Salty Lemon. Still the same people running it. It's a takeout spot that serves slushy drinks, desserts and banh mi. Simple shop with friendly service. My favorite thing there is their pandan coconut jelly. They use real pandan leaf juice to make it, as seen in the color, it's not the artificial green! The taste was really good too, not too sweet. My husband likes to get their Kings dessert which is a jelly and bean drink like a dessert. Last time they were out of one of the ingredients but the lady was very nice to substitute with something else and added more stuff to the cup too. Some of the drinks have added sugar so if you don't like that make sure you let the staff know.

New name ( used to be Summer's frappè) but still serving up refreshing smoothies and sandwiches! Prices have gone up in the past year but they have to survive. Smoothies are made fresh from local fruits. There's a menu with pictures but feel free to mix and match. You can also customize the sugar content. Summer not only makes smoothies but also offers chilled desserts like tapioca puddings. Hungry? She makes bahn mi too! We've been coming here for many many years and the smoothies and desserts are still great! Located next to the hula supply store on the corner of Maunukea and Pauahi. Street parking only- sometimes there's open spots along the street so someone can jump out and grab a smoothie like we do. Like I said different name but same dang good smoothies!

I phone in my order at 3:30pm - guess what? Owner stated it was slow today so she closed up shop early. Since they are not open for dinner, I've had bánh mì from five other places. Their combination bánh mì with chili peppers on the side is still my favorite. I removed the chili pepper seeds before adding it to the sandwich or else it is too hot for me. The combination is such a well balanced sandwich.

Great banh mi sandwiches, but cash only, so cannot always get them when in the mood, hence the 4 instead of 5 stars due to inconvenience. Favourite is the very generous avocado one.

This is my favorite place to get a smoothie, boba drink. I've been a fan since there original location at the Maunakea Marketplace location and followed them to their N Pauahi location.My favorites: Avocado - if they have it, it's rich creamy avacado goodness.Green tea - not too sweet pleaseSalted Calamansi (sweet salty)MangoDessert - lots of textures topped with rough shaved iceOr just ask Summer what she'd recommend and she'll let you know what's in season.Today I had the Salted Calamansi; my friend had the mango.The mango --delicious, authentic mango flavor. The Salted Calamansi --yum, it's sweet,sweet, slightly sour.There's multiple boba smoothie drink places in Chinatown, and if you're wondering which one to try, I'd highly recommend Summer Frappe.

Fresh smoothies and tasty banh mi! She offers a wider variety for fillings than some other classic banh mi spots on Oahu. I love meatball (xiu mai) banh mi and was so happy to see that she sells it. The store itself is on the smaller side, but there's a little table and two chairs if you're dropping in for a quick bite! Definitely one of my favorite casual spots in Chinatown.

First time getting an island drink and glad it was here. Got the sugar cane and mango smoothie drink and saw it prepared fresh in front of us. Late on the review but better now than never. The owner was super friendly and appears to have a great relationship with the locals that popped in too. Real sense of community and we will be back.

Whenever in Chinatown besides good food is this hidden gem. All the local flavors and boba in a large drink for the best prices. A small but mighty shop with an abundance of flavors. For a warm day that Oahu is in abundance of summer frappe drinks will hit the spot! The owner is friendly and welcoming. The only thing is parking can be difficult but patience is a virtue and this place is worth the wait! Enjoy!!
