Always a great time and delicious food.I'm assuming its the business owner bc he's always here & friendly to people.I wish for many, many, many more years to come for this family & their business.I even overheard him recognizing a regular customer of his & knew his order before he even asked.

My go-to pho spot in Kailua! I haven't tried anything other than their pho so I can't speak for the other things on the menu. BUT, if you need a flavorful & fast lunch or dinner, you can't go wrong with one of Saigon noodle house's pho noodle bowls. The last time I went there, the dining area was closed :( I believe after 8 or 8:30pm, they just go take out. There's always the same two lovely faces working the front :) I personally like to enjoy my pho while dining in and they always make me feel so welcomed. There's about 6 tables to sit inside but out of all the times I dined in, there were only 1-2 other people dining in as well. Lots of people were in and out with phone pick up orders tho, so I'm assuming they are pretty consistent with customers

**BEWARE If You Have Nut Allergies - My Experience Was Terrifying**I hate leaving a negative review for a local business, but after what happened to me, I feel it's important to warn others--especially anyone with nut allergies.I placed a phone order for Pad Thai and fried spring rolls, and I was very clear about my **nut allergy**. When the person on the phone asked, "Anything else?" I said, "No, but I want to let you know I have a nut allergy." She said, "Okay, no problem," and confirmed my order. I was reassured.I was only 5 minutes away, so I arrived quickly. When I paid, I double-checked and said, "Just to confirm--**no nuts** on anything, right?" She turned around and yelled to the chef, "No peanut!" When she handed me my food for a **third time**, I asked, "No nuts, right?" The woman said, "No nuts," with a smile. Feeling confident that everything was safe, I thanked her again and left. When I opened the containers in my car, I didn't see any obvious signs of nuts, so I drove the 30 minutes home. But as I began eating, I started to feel a familiar allergic reaction. I immediately stopped eating and called the restaurant. I said, "Hi, I just ordered, but I think you put nuts in my food because I'm having an allergic reaction." The woman on the phone responded **rudely**, "Well, you told me too late." I was stunned by this and kind of speechless. She then dismissed me, saying, "It's just a little bit of nuts." That's when I lost my patience. I told her, "I'm not trying to be difficult. I'm just saying **please be more careful** because this could be life threatening for someone else."Thankfully, my allergy isn't as severe as some, but over the years, it has worsened, and I was genuinely scared. I didn't eat the rest of my meal, and I told her I was **30 minutes away** and didn't want them to remake it--just a refund would suffice. To their credit, they did refund me.What bothers me so much is that they **KNOWINGLY gave me nuts** in my food after I confirmed multiple times that I had a nut allergy. I always take extra care when ordering, especially at a new place, to avoid this kind of situation. I was so disappointed by the lack of care and professionalism. The spring rolls are good here, but if you have a **nut allergy**, I strongly suggest being **extra cautious**--because it seems like they may not take food allergies seriously.

Still our favorite Vietnamese spot! Food is always fresh and delicious. Dine-in is currently still lunch time with dinner open for takeout. Best spring rolls by the tray for any party you gotta go to! The pork summer rolls are incredible too! Portions are always generous with every dish. Pho is rich and flavorful, while the banh mi are big, crisp, fresh, and meaty. Everyone is always very friendly and welcoming. Hands down one of the best Vietnamese spots you'll find anywhere!

During our trip to Hawaii this summer, we were excited to try all the amazing food we had heard about, but honestly, it was harder to find than expected--until we stumbled upon this hidden gem. Right next door to the popular Boots and Kimo, where the line was way too long, we decided to give this spot a try instead. It's truly a hole-in-the-wall kind of place, but the moment I saw all the customers chatting with the owner-operator, I knew we were in for something special. Locals love it, and that's always a great sign!I can't recall all the prices, but everything was very reasonably priced, and I certainly didn't feel like I overpaid. We ordered: * Spicy Chicken and Egg Roll ComboWow! This dish looked as flavorful as it tasted. Spicy, aromatic, and packed with all the wonderful elements of Vietnamese cooking--jasmine rice, fresh vegetables, and that irresistible fish sauce, the "liquor of love." It had such a comforting, homemade feel to it. Absolutely delicious! * Charbroiled Beef Rib KalbiHands down, the best kalbi in all of Oahu! The portion size was generous, and the smell of the charbroiled beef was incredible. Cooked to perfection, each bite was bursting with flavor. * Pork Chop and Fried ChickenEven though it looked dry at first glance, this dish surprised me--it was moist and packed with flavor, thanks to the marinade. It also came with an egg roll, rounding out a great dish. Very respectful.Though I don't live in Hawaii, if I did, this would be a go-to spot. It's a small, family-owned business, and I love supporting places like this. Highly recommend!

Venturing into Saigon Noodle House in Kailua was a refreshing departure from the typical dining experience. As a seasoned connoisseur of Vietnamese cuisine, it's increasingly challenging for a restaurant to leave a significant mark on my palate. However, Saigon Noodle House managed just that with its exceptional service and culinary prowess.Upon entering, the staff greeted us with a warmth and attentiveness that felt genuine and inviting, a rarity in the fast-paced world of dining. This immediate sense of hospitality set the tone for a memorable meal.Opting for the Beef Pho from their specialty plate menu, I was quickly served a steaming bowl that was not only visually appealing but aromatic. The first spoonful of broth was a revelation--rich and layered with flavors that spoke of careful cooking and high-quality ingredients. The vegetables accompanying the pho maintained their crisp texture and vibrant taste, enhancing the overall dish beautifully. The lively atmosphere within the restaurant added another layer to the dining experience. The constant flow of locals and visitors alike, some stopping by for takeout, others settling in for a leisurely meal and casual conversations with the staff, created a vibrant, community-centric vibe that's increasingly rare. Moreover, Saigon Noodle House has managed to keep its pricing reasonable, a commendable feat in today's economic climate. This commitment to value without compromising on quality or service truly sets them apart. In conclusion, Saigon Noodle House is more than just a restaurant; it's a community hub where each dish is served with care and each guest is treated like family. Their ability to blend superb flavors with heartfelt service earns them a well-deserved 5 stars. If you find yourself in Kailua, do not miss the chance to experience this delightful culinary gem.

We took a little adventure to the Windward side today and came upon Saigon Noodle House. We were greeted by a very friendly man who seated us. He promptly brought us our 2 menus and waters. A pet peeve of mine is when they don't bring menus for everyone. lol I ordered the beef pho and my daughter ordered the beef and tendon pho. Both bowls were brought out at the same time and it was on the large side. There were a lot of noodles and meat! Yay!! The standard lemon, bean sprouts, basil were also brought to our table. I was kinda disappointed that they didn't bring jalepeno peppers but it was ok.The pho was delicious and I can't believe I ate all of it! It must be a popular place with regulars as they kept coming in for table service or take out.We had a very nice lunch with good food and good service. Would recommend this place if you're looking for pho in Kailua.

Needed a quick snack and tried out this hole in the wall spot. Decent amount of options, but went with the veggie tofu roll. The staff was very friendly and made sure that I had everything I needed before heading out. The food came out quick, and it was so fresh. The roll was stuffed with plenty of veggies and a decent amount of tofu, and the sauce just tied everything together so well. Will be back again soon!

There are a few Vietnamese restaurants here in Kailua. It's casual restaurant located in the Enchanted Lake Shopping Center! I like to come here because great food, fast and friendly service and the ample free parking at the shopping center! Their restaurant used to be packed with customers dining in before the covid pandemic and they switched to take out only. Now days they opened up the dine-in area during the lunch time. Everyone is nice here especially the older man who always recognizes his repeat customers. He was always friendly and gave great service! Their portion was ways generous and the food was always fresh & delicious. I usually get the Teri chicken sandwich but sometimes get their pad Thai, meat combo on rice or papaya salad. My mom & I preferred papaya salad over a rice plate. I do like the bbq pork plate & spring rolls on vermicelli noodles! Everything is good here!
