Saeng's Thai Cuisine

Classic Thai food spot. Rich flavor, decent amount of spice, lots of vegetables and meat. We really enjoyed the cut of noodles of the pad see ew. Good parking, quick service, and lots of indoor seating. Seems like it would be great for takeout as well.

The Best Word for this restaurant is OUTSTANDING.Good and Healthy food. It's a relaxing atmosphere inside and the servers are very friendly and know the food dishes if you have questions.Also, a full bar is at the restaurant. Enjoy.

Saeng's is located in Kailua, next to Formaggio's and the pist office & is our favorite Thai restaurant!Why does it make it our favorite?1. Service- From the hostess to the waitress to the. food server to the waterboy, everyone is so nice and on top of their game.And Kudos to the Chef who gives huge portions, so it's okay to have a little wait for your food!2. Atmosphere- It's not a big restaurant but it transports you to Thailand with their exquisite wood statues and artwork .3. They are the only Thai restaurant ( at least on the Windward side)that makes my favorite dish Mee Krob!!Mee Krob is a Krispy thin noodle dish that seems to be tossed in a sweet plum sauce, garnished with bean sprouts and scallions and is absolutely yummy!!4. Their corkage fee is only $10!!They are closed from 3-5pm and always people waiting to be seated right at 5pm, so reservations are suggested. Also parking is limited, but you can park across the streetIf you haven't try it, you should!

Entire staff is welcoming and very helpful in recommending items from their extensive menu. The portions are not small but it takes a couple of entrees to fill you up. Very good flavor and texture. The prices were fair and the food came out relatively fast considering the venue was packed.

Nope. I hate to hate on this place because there does not seem to be any good Thai food on Oahu. With that said, I guess this place is the best of the worst? First, the positive - the spring rolls were incredible! I could've eaten two orders of them by myself and called it a meal!The curry on the other hand, not good. It was so thin. More like a broth than a curry with very little flavor to speak of. The veggies were SEVERELY overcooked. I felt like I was eating at a nursing home where everything is cooked beyond recognition so no one looses their dentures while eating. And the most psychotic thing I have ever experienced with a curry dish...they didn't include rice! Just shocking. I had to cook mine at home after ordering delivery. It almost felt offensive.

Had the best dining experience at this Thai restaurant! Susan was our server, and she was fantastic. The place has such an inviting vibe and the ambience is just right.The food? Absolutely amazing. ALL HOMEMADE!!! Isn't that the best thing ever... It's hands down the best tasting Thai food I've had on Oahu. We tried the yellow curry, panang curry, pad kee mao, and pad thai--all were 10/10.Also, a big shoutout to the staff for being super nice about us staying a bit after closing. Highly recommend this spot!

food was great! Started off with egg rolls and calamari. Yummy. Then, I got the Tom kha chicken soup with a side of sticky rice. delicious. service was outstanding. The environment was decorative.

the food was amazing, the service was was good a little slow but it was worth it. its a good restaurant to go to if you love thai.

Shrimp Tom Yum is the best and so are the workers! I always go there for my food. Obviously the food is great

We dined here on Christmas day when most restaurants were closed. We were not expecting much and were blown away by the service. My husband and I are vegetarians, and asked if could make the panang curry vegan for us. Most Thai restaurants use pre-made curry paste which includes fish sauce or shrimp paste and only a few restaurants that make their own curry inhouse are able to make it vegan. I have not had such good Panang curry anywhere. All in all, we had a great dining experience.
