ive done several reviews on Sadies and honestly, it never changes. This is by fsr one my most favorite places to dine in with my ohana. The service is always amazing, the food though NEVER DISAPPOINTS. I always get the sizzling kalbi, my husband gets their big bone kalbi, my kids: meat jun, loco moco and all the sides. You never wait long for your food to come out and when it does, its always so fresh. Dinner time, sometimes there is a little wait to be seated, but my family and I never minds waiting. There is also take out option if you are wanting to enjoy your meal at home. I promise, this place wont disappoint you!

We ordered a couple of lunch plates for takeout. Service was very friendly, took us about 15 minutes to get our food. The place wasn't too crowded or busy since it was after the lunch hour. Portions are huge, so you get a lot of food for the price you pay per plate. We were able to eat some for lunch and dinner, and still have some leftover for another meal. Kalbi short ribs and bbq chicken were fine, nothing spectacular. We didn't choose the vegetable sides but they were okay too. No shortage of rice. Overall a decent place for Korean plate lunches.

My daughter and I came here for an early dinner on a Saturday. Usually gets busy on the weekends but we came before the busy happened. The food here is pretty descent. I had the beef veggie stir fry with rice. This was good. Lots of meat and veggies and enough rice to fill you up. I had an iced water to drink. My daughter had the beef spicy soup. She loves getting this all the time but can never finish it. Service was excellent as the waitress checked up on us. I definitely would come back again if we're in the area.

I haven't been here in years! We were going to Daiso so we decided to stop in for lunch. We each got a meat jun plate to dine in. We got our Banchan which was a really good variety. I was a little surprised at the $24 price for the meat jun but it turned out to be a good deal because I took my other half home to eat it for dinner. The food was tasty and the sauce added that extra flavor. The service was quick. They took our orders and always had our water cups full. Whenever the local korean food craving returns we will come back here.

Must write your name, number of people in your party, and phone number on sign in sheet. Then wait outside to be called. First come, first serve. Restaurant is well lit. We patiently waited for a table to open approximately 30 mins. Seaweed Soup: Comforting. Dol Sot Bi Bim Bap: Loved how stone pot served heat hot, rice turned to crispy, golden brown color served with zucchini, purple shredded cabbage, carrots, shiitake mushrooms, watercress, kimchi bean sprouts, egg yolk, beef, and shredded Korean seaweed tasted fresh and delicious together. Complete meal. Pork Adobo Fried Rice: Tender pork adobo pieces with light vinegar. Egg whites and yolk neutralized the acidity and complemented the fried rice. Cucumbers with light dressing refreshed the palate. Meat Jun Plate: Excellent meat jun slices that tasted fresh and egg batter remained intact. Light, spicy dipping sauce complemented meat jun. Great customer service. Staff offered refills for banchan and water. We gladly accepted and expressed our gratitude. Bring cash if you prefer to save some money. Accept credit and debit cards; however, there's a 3% convenience fee for customers. Next door there's Sadie's Okazuya open M-Sat 5 AM-2 PM.

I had seen Sadies BBQ in some IG posts and maybe another yelp review, so it was time to try it on our way back to town from further West. When you walk in, it's a homey mom&pop shop with okazuya in the front (closed due to plumbing issues that day). We were seated immediately, and the tables were already cleaned/set. Didn't feel rushed at all, but our servers came around quickly to bring water and take our orders. They even adjusted the spiciness on the garlic chicken to make it more mild. I ordered the meat jun -- which is just how we judge our Korean restaurants in Hawaii, isn't it? Meat jun was tasty, super tender, nice and crispy edges. I liked their dipping sauce as well. It's on the sweeter side, but that's how we like it. My only gripe - it's pretty pricey!Garlic chicken was clearly freshly fried and tossed in that sauce. It was really good, however, I'd still prefer meat jun - just my tastes.I loved that there was an assortment of ban chan and that our server asked if we wanted more, and that our initial broccoli (which I inhaled) happened to have a sneaky stowaway piece of bean sprout, which told me they had bean sprouts, which allowed me to ask them to give us more. And cabbage. And shoyu potatoes. And something tells me they have chapchae back there too, so just ask!Friendly and efficient staff here. I never ran out of water. And we were brought a takeout box to wrap up the rest of that generous portion of garlic chicken to go. I do think the prices are a bit steep, even for Hawaii, but that's reality these days. And I would still support local if I were hungry for local Korean and in the area! You can tell these guys work hard, appreciate their customers, and really just want to feed them well. Also would like to see that okazuya in action someday!
