Excellent Thai and Korean food. We just discovered this place this visit to O'ahu. We had their food twice. Delicious both times. I had red and yellow curry, fried egg rolls and meat jun. The red curry was good (red curry is my Thai go-to and how I rate every Thai place) but not as good as some of my favorites on the mainland. The egg rolls rate high; as good as Spicy House in neighboring Maile. The yellow curry was excellent but just notch down from Spicy House. However, the yellow curry leftovers were phenomenal...way better than Spicy House. I don't know how it's possible but that's what my tummy told me And they're open until 8pm. Super happy we found this place

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM THIS PLACE BECAUSE THEY ARE CLOSED DOWN. I did not know that this place was closed down. However online is states open. Also their ordering online website is still available and accessible. I placed an order online and went to pick up my order but found out they were closed down. I tried calling every number they listed but all disconnected. I even tried emailing them. No success. I had to file a dispute with my bank telling them my situation to get a refund.

If you find yourself craving authentic Thai cuisine with a heartwarming island touch, S&S Thai Mini Mart Nanakuli is a must-visit. (formerly S&S Thai Kitchen at Ka makana ali') My affection for this restaurant is boundless, and there are countless reasons why it stands out as my favorite island eatery.First and foremost, S&S Thai Mini Mart commitment to quality and sustainability is unparalleled. An impressive 70% of their produce is sourced directly from their own farms in Kahuku, ensuring that every dish is as fresh as it is flavorful. The absence of MSG in their cooking is a testament to their dedication to health and authenticity, making every meal a guilt-free indulgence. As a vegan, dining out can sometimes be a challenge, but S&S Thai Mini Mart has always been exceptionally accommodating. Their willingness to customize meals without hesitation is something I've always appreciated. Whether it's adjusting dishes to suit dietary preferences or experimenting with new flavors, their customer service is top-notch.The soul of S&S Thai Mini Mart is undoubtedly its owners, Tammy and Jason. Their love for the community shines through in everything they do, from the warm welcome they extend to every guest to their efforts to give back to the island. Moving to Nanakuli, they've not only continued to offer their authentically authentic Thai dishes but also expanded their menu to include Korean specialties and a variety of market items. This expansion has only added to the charm and appeal of the restaurant, making it a culinary hub for both locals and visitors alike.Let me add they have a good selection of authentic seasonings, sauces, noodles and such. We picked up a thing or two while we were there. Oh! They also have ox tail and other meats and fish! Fresh (frozen though) and very smartly priced. The food was as delicious as ever. I ordered Yellow Curry and Pad Kee Mao. I ate the curry there and it was so creamy, rich and satisfying. The right balance on onions, carrots, potato's oh, my goodness. The Pad Kee Mao is for tomorrow! Spice level four this time. I opted not to go Thai hot this time around. My husband ordered Chicken Pad Thai, his usual at a level one and he said it was spot on. He also ordered spring rolls which he said were savory, not overly oily and seasoned to perfection. It has to be said - S&S Thai Mini Mart is more than just a restaurant; it's a celebration of Thai cuisine, a testament to sustainable farming, and a beacon of community spirit. Whether you're a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and experience the magic of S&S Thai Mini Mart. You'll leave with a full stomach and a full heart.A couple of things to note, they have one table that can seat six. I didn't think to ask Jason if they were planning on more tables. I will say everyone who came in ordered their food to go. They have online ordering which is a breeze with their QR code or you may go to sandsthatkitchen.comDoorDash and Uber Eats are also available. Their hours are seven days a week 10am-8pm. They are right behind McDonals right on the end of the shopping center. 87-2070 Farmington HwyWhen you go tell them Deb sent you and enjoy!

Made an order online because it said that the store was open. I drove to pick up the food and no one was there and the store was closed. I've tried calling and leaving messages and no one called me or messaged me back. So I was charged and never received my food. I've been trying to be very patient while asking for a refund and today when I tried to call again, all of a sudden now the phone is disconnected? So now I'm leaving a bad review. Your website should not be online for ordering if your shop is closed. That's very misleading and I will not be ordering from here again. I want to really like this place but this has been a bad experience.

So happy that my favorite Thai restaurant has found a new place! I'm a fan since they were in Waikiki and Shirokiyabecause they don't add MSG and everything there is so fresh (They even get their organic veggies from their farm in Kahuku)and unique that all my friends who I brought goes back for more.Talk about the hole in the wall, now it relocated to the west side of oahu, right behind Nanakuli McDonald's off the Farrington Hwy.I ordered a Crying tiger beef salad, one of many of my favoritesand their food never disappoints!!Try to expand your Thai dishes to Nam Pork fried rice, Laotian Sausage,Khao piyaksen noodle soup, Laab, Basil stir fry, Pad Kee Mao, as well as Pad Thai and Tom yum soup and Curries... they are all so yummy!Jason and Tammy are super friendly and accommodates to your likings so talk to them and ask questions and suggestions.Make sure to tell them your preferred spice level.I usually ask to make mine with not spicy at all but still super tasty.Only regret is that I forgot to buy their frozen Laotian sausage - now they sell it in their freezer section. I will make a trip to the west side again soon to satisfy my cravings.

HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! Meat Jun and Mundoo was cooked in rancid, old oil! Jap Chae was good tho.Such a disappointment! How can you expect customers to return when you put out a crappy product!

First time trying this place. Heard from a co worker that it was worth trying. Ordered 3 different things wait time was about 20 mins. It's a small shop behind nanakuli McDonald's. There's a sign on the outside that says EBT accepted for all you fortunate people that have it. Inside there's another sign that says sorry EBT machine not working. So it's kinda a click bait kinda thing lol. The person who took our order seems friendly. They offer catering which is nice. The prices are normal with neighboring restaurants. We stopped to order the takeout and drove home to Waianae where we opened first the Thai spicy fried rice with chicken and it was super bland. No FLAVOR AT ALL. I get people have off days so whatever so we were going to let it pass and just season it ourselves but then we went to our 2nd order which was regular white rice because they didn't have sticky rice and again to our surprise we got the bottom of the barrel white rice that was burnt at the bottom and brown. Something as simple as the white rice was just unacceptable. We didn't even attempt trying the last dish which was some curry soup dish. I ended up having my husband call to let them know about the food that was sent out. Upon explaining he was rudely interrupted by the person on the phone saying "if you don't like my food bring it back!" So that's what he did. Hopefully you have a better experience than we did. Being an elite food reviewer for years I felt this place wasn't trying to help the customer. we weren't looking to get something for free. We just Wanted them to know the quality that was being sent out was not the good. Hopefully this was just an isolated incident.
