It's almost impossible to get a longboard on the island right now. Most people aren't working so they have all the time in the world to surf and decently priced longboards are being swiped left and right. I was stalking Craigslist, used surf shops, Facebook Marketplace multiple times per day for days with no luck! Out, out, out, sold, sold, sold... Affordable custom boards were had a wait time of 2 months and I need a board now. Much to my surprise, my friend told me about this shop and how they had some longboards in my budget when he stopped by. I darted over to RV's, a chill small mom and pop shop tucked in a residential area. Indeed they had boards!!! There were two boards that fit my criteria and I ended up with this insane, obnoxiously cute board with flower, heart, and dolphin with eyelashes painted on LOL. I burst up laughing when Brudda Roy first pulled the board out to show me.Brudda Roy owns the shop and he's a character. Friendly, chill, and cool! No intimidating vibe for a novice like me. He patiently taught me how to set up the fins. He just genuinely wants people out in the water! Little Maru was there at the time and he's soooo cute! They've got used boards, sometimes new boards, do repairs, and offer lessons. Come on by and support this local surf shop!

I heard about Roy from my friends and knew I had to bring my board here for repair ! Roy is fuggin awesome and I can see why my friends said that. He was able to repair my board in a few days , dings that I was putting off for the longest time. I love supporting local and small shops like Roy's , true authenticity nothing beats, if you want good vibes this is the place to go. Will come back again and again and again. I had serious damage to the board at the fin which makes for a difficult fix. Roy provided an extremely high quality repair by the next day. I was back in the water that evening!Additionally, Roy was a really nice guy to do business with. Thanks Roy!-Liam (Vancouver, BC)

Roy is a fantastic person and teacher! He will guide you thru your surf experience smoothly and will make sure you have a fabulous time. If I could surf with Roy every day I totally would Also he makes sure you are safe and comfortable along the process, so not worry you are in the best hands

I needed a Sun shirt ... he told me a better place to get one for less money. Have to respect someone looking out. So I scheduled a lesson. Was up and riding waves. Was very cool experience. Would absolutely recommend a lesson from Roy.

Not only do they have the best prices for board rentals that I could find, but Roy was pretty damn awesome and helpful. The longboard I rented was great and allowed me to catch these waves with ease. The board also had a gopro mount, which I was stoked on!Highly recommend!

Roy's a great guy, fair prices, fast turn around. Please respect this business and the customers here, some kids tried to pick up/take my board and left a crack at the store. Roy was kind enough to fix it, but please respect the business and the boards here.
