Ruckus Sportfishing and Diving

Amazing dives with this crew! We dove the Sea Tiger wreck and Horseshoe Reef. We were in O'ahu for the Labor Day weekend to visit a family member. By the time I could schedule a dive most of the shops were booked. Through the Ruckus website I saw availability for Sunday so I booked with them. The same day I booked, Ray from Ruckus calls me and said that there were wasn't availability on Sunday due to a mix up of multiple sites. But, he immediately asked how long our visit would be to accommodate a different time. He scheduled us in for Saturday afternoon. I didn't expect to see as many diurnal creatures was we did. We saw white tip sharks, eels, a manta ray and best of all a 6 foot sleeping sea turtle! I am still new at diving and I get anxious but thankfully Matt was above and beyond patient. After the dives they even asked if we wanted to go out again the next day. If we didn't have preset plans we would have for sure. We will book with this crew every time we visit.

My wife and I went out on a 4 hour fishing trip while in Hawaii for our honeymoon and it was such an amazing time!!!We went with Ray and Cody, and they were extremely dedicated to getting us on fish the entire four hours! I went into it hoping to catch something but understanding that it is "Fishing" and not "Catching" but we ended up having consistent action the trip, ending with a big Mahi! Regardless of if we caught fish or not, they would have got a 5 stars. They were extremely organized, personable, and helpful. Constantly switching lures and looking for new areas to fish around the birds. Even though we trolled, we still hooked a few fish on a light spinning rod which was a blast! As someone who is a somewhat experienced fisherman (in Indiana lol) I felt right at home with Cody and Ray. I would do a longer trip next time, but the 4 hours was still a great time! We both would highly recommend it for anyone looking to take on deep sea fishing while in Waikiki. Thanks to Cody and Ray for a great experience!

They were easy, laid back, friendly, fair priced, and the dive master Jordan was very patient and helpful to my son, who was on his first real dive after getting certified in a lake. Ray met us on the dock and helped us with our gear. The boat captain was helpful and friendly (unfortunately, I don't remember her name). The boat had plenty of room for all the divers on the boat ( two groups of 3 ) and room for more. I know there are other dive operations in Honolulu, but you won't go wrong with this place.

Unimpressive. An expensive boat ride at best. Captain and first mate spent almost the whole trip on the tuna tower ignoring the whole reason why we were there. No other options (jigging, chumming) we're even explored. I've been on a lot of charters. This one was by far the worst. Won't be back. Would not recommend unless you're up for a 4 hour boat ride for $900.

Had a good 6 hour fishing trip. Hooked up to a big marlin but shook the hook. Great tackle and gear. Captain did a good job trying to get us on the fish.The communication was very clear before the tour, including a confirmation phone call the night before telling us exactly when and where to show up. AJ and Ray got us out exactly on time and had reels out within minutes, just as they advertise. Much thanks to the company and crew for accommodating our request for more fishing time versus stopping to snorkel and for offering as much help as they could when I got sea sick. Thank you guys!

This guys was amazing , they fit me in a day before what expect , I had the really great experience dive in my life , was my first wreck , on the beginner I was scare but they ( dad and son ) make me feel só comfortable . I recommend to everyone dive with this company , was amazing !!!Thank you very much Ruckus team !!!!!

Thanks Captain Ray and Maddie. We only had time for a 4 hour fishing charter but were still able to get a nice 20lb Mahi Mahi and a 15lb Ono. Will try to get out longer next time. Appreciate your care for your passengers, crew and the boat. Jake and Darren

Chartered Ruckus to scatter a loved ones ashes. Captain Ray and Dillon were super helpful and friendly. They assisted my 97 year old mother onto the boat and made sure she was comfortable. Super easy to book and the trip was beautiful. Thanks! Would definitely recommend.

Ray, Ray, and Cale made a great team for a day of fishing and snorkeling. They were professional, patient, and an enjoyable group. Allowing us to reel in 2 Ono and 1 sailfish was an amazing experience. The number of sea turtles we were able to see in the canyon was a highlight. We could not recommend this group more.
