If you're wondering if this place is spacious enough, the answer is yes. And depending on how you arrange your tables, you can really maximize the amount of people able to fit on each table. We managed to use (20) 72x30" tables to fit 12-13 chairs on each long table. It was nice. It didn't feel crowded. There was still a lot of room in the back and in the front. Pros:-fenced outdoor courtyard (great for the kids, no bounce castles though)-full kitchen -parking -AC Cons:-you're responsible for cleaning up after your event If you're contemplating where to have your event, the question really is how much you're willing to spend. This place will be more budget friendly than having your event at a hotel of course. You just have to weigh your options.

This review is being written as an attendee to this community center & not as an organizer/renter for the facility. We attended a graduation party for a family member on 6/01/24 from 5PM to 8PM. It was our first time visiting this facility. As previous yelpers have mentioned, it is best to use your GPS to get there. It is off the freeway but in the Royal Kunia subdivision, past the Wal-Mart on Kunia Rd. Once you exit Kunia Rd, it can be tricky since the street signs are hard to read so GPS is your best bet. It is easy to find & you can't miss the building once you're on the street it's on since it is on the corner. There is a park next to it and across the street is an empty lot on one side & a golf course on the other side. The parking lot was good-sized as well of plenty of street parking. Even though it was next to a huge park, the venue is surrounded by a white fence for privacy. The facility itself is a beautiful venue to hold a celebration - nice surroundings, modern building, a/c, clean bathrooms by the entrance, & kitchen facility. The manager, Michelle, was also very nice, assisting guests & answering any questions they had. The tables & chairs were set up to seat about a 100 people. There were probably about 80 but the room itself was comfortable enough to not feel over-crowded plus they had a live band up front & a small area for dancing.Overall, it was an enjoyable experience at this venue.

First and foremost, the greatest asset to this location is the venue, how the landscaping appeals to the eye, and space. Inside the hall, there is a fairly large space that does offer the full space or half (with a partition) There are bathrooms inside the hall, large yard area, and barbeque space. It's ideally a great venue with those perks. Another important thing is it's air conditioned. Disadvantages of renting this hall should be considered before actually utilizing the space. Since this is a review and looking for party venues is frustrating, I will give you some idea here. If you intend to rent here for your special party, be aware you are only allowed ONE hour to arrive and set up. So if the Staff decides to show up at the exact time you're allowed to be there, you're in for another surprise. Make sure if you're the one on contact, ONLY you can be let in so if you were like us waiting outside the doors with decorations, you'll be asked to place them aside. This brings this to my concerns with Staff showing up at exact time knowing very well they need to turn the AC on, lights, check bathrooms, etc. Don't you think you should've been there earlier having that accomplished and ready for the renters to show up?? I mean seriously, that walk thru took another 15 minutes. This left the rest of us little time to set up. Plus to setting up is they have ample tables and chairs to use, which need to be covered (tables), and the kitchen is solely used to heat items, NOT cook. To me, that's kinda BS considering the amount being paid. Look no further to fill your coolers cause there is a ice machine so that should cool some frustration lol.Apparently, this venue requires special duty HPD officer. I didn't realize that it was INCLUDED in the rental contract so if you know anyone who can do you a solid and volunteer with uniform, you'd save. Just make sure you tell the person you've got it covered to lower your cost to rent the place. Another interesting fact is they charge for the use of AC. Now isn't that ridiculous knowing you're paying for the place, wouldn't it just be included?? To be completely honest, the Staff wasn't very friendly or approachable, and not very accommodating. I'm unsure what the issue was and do highly recommend an attitude readjustment. If you're working in this business, you need to have some ALOHA and possibly smile. You'd be surprised if Staff had better attitudes and energy, the price of the products or services wouldn't matter. Anyway, I do recommend the venue, just make sure you have LOTS of help setting up since you've only got like 45 minutes because Staff do not come earlier and take time to setup prior.Lastly, when it's time to breakdown, staff WILL remind you that you've got an hour to pack it up and leave. You make the call. There are positive and negative to this venue but like I said, Staff with good attitudes and ALOHA will weigh out any cost

Nice venue to have an event. Plenty of parking. Only thing, it's hard to find if you don't have Google map. It's kind of far in from the main road. Loading and unloading is not that friendly, gotta pass couple of doors to get in. Recently renovated, room looks modern with built in kitchen. Good for a day event. Night time looks little on the dark side because the venue is far in.

NO, NO, NO! Don't ever think of using this place for any party, social, gathering, and/or celebration. I did and we all paid dearly!!! This is not in any type of chronological order. See below:1) too expensive to rent the facility (NOT WORTH THE MONEY)2) NO AIR CONDITION!3) you're ONLY allowed to start setting up one hour before the start of your event (stupid, stupid rule). You can pre-stage items outside the facility; however, it takes more than an hour for any party setup. The RK association is crazy to think people can setup a party an hour before start time...IDIOTS!!!4) they will expect for you to have liability insurance for $1,000,000. Yes, I said 1 million dollars. If you have vendors (magicians, balloon guy, shave ice guy, photo-booth etc.) they'll expect them to have liability insurance as well.5) very strict rules about each and everything within the facility--inside & outside (IE. can't stick things to the wall, correct amount of tables and chairs stacked, no bouncy displays on the grass for the kids, etc.)6) fans and light fixtures are really low 7) did I mention NO AIR CONDITION8) the big long table has to be covered with something (which they will NOT provide).9) before your party starts, one has to get tables and chairs from the storage room. It's not pre-staged. It got stressful and tiring when setting-up tables and chairs throughout the facility!10) once your party ends, you are to put all the tables and chairs away in the correct place and not to mention--sweep, mop, and throw all trash in the trash bin.11) you also need to clean the bathrooms!!! Yes, both the MEN'S AND WOMEN'S BATHROOM!!!12) after sweeping the dining room, hallway, and bathroom...you are required to MOP THE KITCHEN!!! Yes, MOP THE KITCHEN!!! And also clean out the sink and the refrigerator.13) if you have a lot of people attending...it will get really HOT inside the facility. My party was at night and it was still hot w/ fans going and all sliding doors open!14) they have a screen, but one will need to provide your own proxima (projector). Plus, the screen is not in the most ideal location. 15) NO DRINKING ON FACILITY GROUNDS. If you are planning to have alcohol then that's an additional fee.16) HPD is there; cost for him/her is added with the faculty rental fee. I guess you would still have to feed him/her--right?!?17) once all the cleaning completed, the associate that had open the doors for y'all to setup will do a FINAL inspection! 18) royal Kunia residents pay $40+ a month to maintain this facility. Where the hell is the $$$ going to???19) HERE'S THE KICKER and THE ICING ON THE CAKE:*** if you think you're in the clear when the associate gives you the thumbs-up/green light that the facility is clean, you're WRONG!!! If there is a party after yours and they said the facility looks DIRTY and NOT CLEANED--YOU WILL NOT GET BACK YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT!!! How much of an idiot can one be...if the facility associate has given you the thumbs-up that the facility is clean...that should be it, end of story! Why should the next host be the one to make the decision if the facility is clean or not!!! IDIOTS, I tell you! IDIOTS!!!I gave it one star just because the facility looks okay from the outside and plus...I couldn't leave it blank!!!NEVER, NEVER, again will I use this facility and YOU SHOULDN'T EITHER!!!

BEWARE! The place is cheap for a reason... You will only be given an hour to set up and clean up, on top of that there is no air conditioning and they will even make you mop the bathrooms... Funny because they only provide you with one mop.. Meaning you're mopping the whole place with the dirty bathroom mop! Gross! What a travesty, I can't believe I'm paying for this place through our home owner's association. If you like cheap like Valerie R ...then you will get what you paid for :-) aloha!

i have lived in royal kunia for 7 years. Up to December 2024, my wife and ienjoyed our daily walk around the neighborhood. The common area maintenance was very well maintained and we had a sense of pride wheneverwe went outside. the first month (jan. 2025) no one showed to clean the area. Then in feb. a new maintenance company arrived, they did such a half assedjob and did only a few sections of anonui st. I haven't seen them do the same location twice. we were down with the flu so didn't walk last week. then todaymar 1st, resumed our walk. the sidewalk area on anonui st. has weeds abouta foot high. as we were walking several other passerbys complained aboutthe mess. lets get serious and get the old maint. people back. this is unacceptable!

The lady that's in charge of this place accused my niece and nephew for removing a sign when they kept telling her they didn't do it. The lady didn't believe them and yelled at them to never do it again. So my sister saw that she was yelling at her kids. Now I know my sister should of just took her kids and walked away. But my sister was ready to sock the lady in the face went up to the lady and yelled at her. But if someone yelled at my kids I would be pissed off too. So the lady called the cops on my sister and the cop did not make anything better he was kinda escalating the situation by talking rude to my sister and my mom. Kinda like a young cocky rookie cop that walks with his chest out like a tough guy but he's a 5,3 shrimp. But again my sister should of just walked away but she kept yelling at the lady in front of the cop. So I saw the rookie putting his hand on his taser gun. Than I was like ok that's it I told my sister n mom that we need to just leave. I told them the rookie is ready to taser you guys. Let's go! So we left. #1 The lady was unprofessional and disrespectful if you have a problem with kids you should confront the parents first and not just go straight to the kids and start accusing them that's harassing a minor which is against the law so we could of sued her #2 I work in customer service and I've been in situations wen a customer gets mad no matter how many times I want to yell back at them I keep my composure and remain calm and try not to make things worst. Ps. I always smoke a joint when I get off work than I feel better. Have respect for other peoples kids and family and don't be quick to judge someone because of who they are and where they come from. I've traveled the world and met lots of people I've learned how respect peoples cultures and there ways of life.
