The minimum spend for parking validation increased from $10 to $25 for the free kama aina parking :-( this was the main perk keeping me coming here instead of international marketplace across the street! :-(I guess I will go to target at IMP now for the parking validation.

The Royal Hawaiian Center has been around since the '80s, and they have various stores and boutiques, dining options, and even family-friendly events. We came here to purchase a luggage, grab some drinks, as well as some desserts to go.I just wished that areas were clearly labeled and/or have more directories so you can easily locate places you need to get to.There's parking available that you can also get validated.+family-friendly events+validation available

Fun shopping center- big and bustling with a lot of activities, decorated for Christmas time with plenty of Hawaiian singing and hula dancing performances in the plaza. Lots of food and shopping options as well as a food court and a food hall.

Really enjoy my trips to the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. Always find beautiful themed decorations to match the season: Christmas trees and bows at Christmas to red lanterns across the promenade during Chinese New Year! And I really appreciate the support they show for our military as well as kamaaina. With a mere $10 minimum purchase and identification to support, one can get three hours of free parking. Now that is an amazing treasure in Waikiki. And I have found some favorite places to frequent such as Junbi (best iced green teas and other green tea products), Tsurutontan for delicious midrange Japanese meals and happy hour, the entertainment at center court and the really nice food courts scattered around the Shopping center. Easy to get lost for a few hours in the mall!

A beautiful, tropical garden shopping center that caters to Japanese tourists in every way. Exotic shops selling fashionable and traditional Hawaiian articles and clothing. Fancy quaint coffee shops, restaurants, shops, a western food court, and restrooms equipped with bidets. Beautiful, lush, tropical backdrops for selfies and photos! Must visit!

This place pretty much sums it up. It is at the center of Waikiki where the hustle and bustle happens. It is a tourist mecca where people can shop and dine and just enjoy the beachside lifestyle. They offer a lot of options known to tourists. It's busy day and night and the atmosphere is very fun and festive. I love walking and exploring the shops, restaurants and cafes in every corner of this center.

This review is for the experience I had with the local elderly employee at the guest services. I arrived at guest services to get my kama'aina parking validation after making a purchase within Royal Hawaiian Center. After giving my receipt she turned me away because I was $1.20 short and rudely handed my ticket along with my receipt back to me. I apologized as I was unaware of the minimum of 10 dollars and decided to purchase a drink nearby. I went back in line to once again get my parking validated. Another local couple in front of me was also trying to get their ticket validated but forgot their receipt, but the same employee who turned me away for $1.20 waived them and validated their parking! All they had to do was give a random price of how much they spent and she put it in. UNBELIEVABLE. I expressed my frustration and all she stated was, "You didn't meet the minimum" in the rudest tone. How was that any different than not having a receipt and just believing a person that gave a random number? This was truly unfair. I mean, If you're going to enforce rules regarding parking validation. I would expect you to enforce it to everyone.

This is the main shopping center in the heart Waikiki along with the International Marketplace. This center has mostly hight end luxury shops. Tiffany, Harry Winston, Fendi, Hermes, Saint Laurent, etc. all are located in this center. This center also has some of the best dining options. They have a great mix of casual dining in the food court. Try L&L Barbecue and Kulu Kulu Bakery if you need a quick bite. They also have very good sit down restaurants. P.F. Chang, Cheesecake Factory, Noi Thai, Wolfgang's Steakhouse, Doraku and Tim Ho Wan to name a few. The customer service center closes at 8pm. If you need to go there for any reason or to get validation for parking make sure you go before 8.
