We like checking out the different bakeries and this was our first visit to the Royal Hawaiian Bakery. I really wanted to try the Royal croissant but they didn't have any during our visit. Picked up a Ham and cheese croissant and a Portuguese sausage and cheese croissant. They were flaky croissants. We liked them. Enjoyed our goodies while sitting on the rocking chairs just a short distance from the bakery. Beware of the birds! They kept staring at us and then were brave enough to fly at us to try to get at our goodies.

Situated on the veranda in the lobby of the Royal Hawaiian Resort is the Bakery. Open from 6am to noon, you'll find very friendly service staff, rich coffee and very cool looking fresh baked goods. As a hotel guest you receive a complimentary voucher for free banana bread. As it turns out, you actually receive a small branded pink Royal Hawaiian bag with 3 fresh muffins! Great marketing idea, explains the line ups....We had coffee there a few times, enjoying the striped croissants, muffins and sweet treats. There is a substantial condiment center with everything you need. Prices are on par with other coffee shops close by.Service staff keep the tables clean and tidy. Aside from the wait, this is a great place to sit and enjoy the tropical ambiance of the pink palace.

Cute bakeshop inside the royal hawaiian hotel. The mac nut lattes were my absolute favorite and also enjoyed their well known banana nut muffins! Easy spot to pick up coffee and pastries and head out to waikiki beach to watch the sunrise or sunset!

Absolutely the best croissant I've ever eaten! We tried several pastries and all of them were excellent! The stand outs by far were the ham and cheese and the royal croissant. The coffee is also very good. We were surprised by how affordable everything was. Service is excellent!

While it's open until 12pm technically, please be there by 8am if you want to get specific pastry items for sure. Getting a couple of freshly baked goods along with a cup of coffee or Latte, then sitting at one of those tables and looking at the garden was actually nice and relaxing - more peaceful than getting breakfast surrounded by crowds at Surf Lanai restaurant... ;)

Cute little bakery kiosk in the lobby of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. Love all the pink decor and the wall of merch. The line moved quickly and the service was friendly and quick. I needed a refreshing cold drink after a long hike and the Pink Fizz is exactly what I needed. It definitely quenched my thirst.

Yummy baked goodies. I got the Royal croissant filled with custard and I think guava and the guava Bundt cake that's nice and moist. Both delicious! Definitely worth the trip to the hotel. Line is not too long and beautiful seating facing the gardens!

A must stop whether you are staying at the Royal Hawaiian or not! Tip - when you check into the Royal Hawaiian you get a ticket for the bakery and it is for complimentary banana bread muffins. Be sure to make the time to redeem this! The line can be long but it moves decently fast and it gives you plenty of time to figure out what you want to order. Good amount of seating as well to enjoy your goodies. The staff are awesome! They have aloha spirit and the one staff was speaking both English and Japanese. Treat wise, their pink snowballs are gorgeous and worth the hype. Good size and light and fluffy. My go-to breakfast item was the ham and cheese croissant. My only compliant was the tiny size that was cut for the pineapple turnover. The turnover itself was delicious but the portion was very small. Drink wise - the Royal Hawaiian latte was delicious and my go to! Be sure to get here early enough, so you get what you want pastry wise!
