We came here after a horrible experience with Lowe's. You can read my review on my home page. Anyway, we purchased a refurbished washer and dryer from Ross 6 years ago. So, after the disastrous experience with Lowe's we headed back to Ross Appliance.We found exactly what we were looking for and it comes with a 6 months warranty. Purchased it on a Friday and the appliance was delivered on Monday. The sales associate said they would call us before heading over and to give them a 2hr window from 12pm-2pm. We received a call at 12:31pm and they were at our place at 12:41pm.The appliance was installed and the delivery/installation guys stayed to make sure it was working after set up. Everything was great. I would recommend this place not only because they are reputable, but because it's sustainable and environmentally friendly to purchase refurbished. The appliance is in great condition and looks almost exactly like a brand new one.

Don't get me wrong, I love our Whirlpool Front Loading Duet. PURCHASERefurbished Kenmore Agitator Washer w/6-Month Warranty ($449.95): Sadly, one of the washers that came along with the property started having issues with the agitator no longer working properly that resulted in the clothes not thoroughly being cleaned. A couple repair places were contacted to assess the issue; unfortunately, the estimated parts and labor expenses plus the lag time getting the parts simply was prohibitive in this particular situation. A month later, this machine has worked wonderfully, no tenant complaints, and it has become a perfect replacement. Full disclosure, there were some minor aesthetic nicks, and it may've been a slightly older model with less electronic parts and sensors (i.e. easier to refurbish), but the Kenmore brand always held high esteem with its appliances similar to a Honda car. Each of them warmly greeted me as I entered the showroom, and Mona talked/walked me through all the washer inventory they had. After a calculated decision on my selection, Mona wrote up the paperwork, and then George and I casually chatted before other customers appeared. On delivery day, I was given call and text message ETA updates. Inventory changed daily, so what you saw was what you got in their showroom, so please try to keep your expectations in check, come with a sense of perspective, and know exactly what you're looking for. This was truly a one-stop shop with many well-known brands, wonderful merchandise variety, good prices, and efficient friendly customer service. I found complete value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $566.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). One of the few discount appliance stores in Honolulu. I was looking for a reasonably priced mattress for my elderly father. It had to be a specific height because my father is handicapped and can't easily adapt to change. I visited the store and the woman took me directly to a perfect mattress. So reasonably priced compared to everywhere else I looked. But the biggest thing was that it met our needs for size and height. No one else could meet our needs for a traditional mattress. The closest alternative was almost two times the price. It was impressive how the woman knew her inventory so well. Delivery was available within the week. Two gentlemen who delivered the mattress were on time, courteous and very helpful.

The worst customer service experience ever.Bought a refrigerator from these guys a few months ago and it started having issues with the refrigerator area not blowing cold air. Called them to ask for a replacement since it came with a one year warranty. They have to send a repair guy out. He shows up looking either very tired or very high. I ask him if he's getting paid extra (it was Memorial Day and I was trying to make small talk) and he said, "No, they don't pay me. I just do this to help a friend..." So he's looking at the seal of the freezer for any chance of leaking air (he didn't even look at the refrigerator component), and he says, "Oh here's the problem!" He pulls out a long black hair that was stuck on the rubber seal and says that it was causing the problem.I was in disbelief. He leaves and of course the refrigerator isn't working properly. So we call Ross the next day and tell them what happened and the worker said he'll send the repair guy out again but he won't be available until two days. I'm said, "you're sending THAT guy back out? He doesn't know what he's doing!" The worker said that's the only repair guy they have. I said can't we just swap out this busted refrigerator for a working one? He said he can only do that if the repair guy says it's busted. So now we have to rely on the word of someone who says he's not even getting paid?? Meaning our perishables are spoiling so we have to buy a cooler waiting for this clown to show up.I called my landlord and explained the situation. She said she knows the manager and will call him to tell him to replace the refrigerator.We'll see...Never again will we or anyone we know will do business with these unprofessional lunatics.*update*The manager Tyler called this morning and apologized for the incident and he's sending out another repair technician today to get it resolved. And he assured us that the first technician will no longer be "working" there. My review went from 1 star to 3 because of Tyler's assistance.*second update *John, the technician, came out and fixed the issue. Very professional and made sure that we understood what the problem was. Added a star because of his work and demeanor.

Ross is our go to place for rental property replacement appliances. Fairly priced pre-used selection, efficient delivery and one-year warranty. My latest purchase is a refrigerator that was purchased on Saturday and delivered on Monday.

Came here shopping for mattresses and box springs. We were greeted/assisted as soon as we walked in. They don't have a large selection, but we decided to buy two box springs as the prices were unbeatable. Our transaction was quick and easy. There is a surcharge for credit cards, so I would recommend paying cash or check.

I called Ross's a few days looking for 2 end tables. They were so kind as to let me know (via text today), that they had 2 tables for $20ea (on sale). So I ride my moped down to look.I DID NOT expect to see what I saw.. these tables were just what I was looking for...but it was more. These are solid & new looking tables with a hard base for longevity.I've seen tables like these going for over $150+ea easily. So it scramble my brain to see these selling for $20!! So with delivery, it came out to be like $62 per table & it is very worth it.Now the crew I dealt with at Ross's are solid & good local people. They're very friendly, professional with a great sense of humor. Oh...they have popcorn tooGo visit. A good store for shopping.. Aloha
