Rose's Lunch Wagon

The best!The chow fun, fried chicken and eggplant is soo ono!The won ton min is great too! You know that won ton is not now spelled backwards!

THIS IS MY FAVORITE LUNCH WAGON OF ALL TIME !Only found in the heart of Campbell Industrial is this sweet little gem disguised in an old silver lunch wagon with an old sign that says Rose's, parked I'm on the same road as H Power. Operated by a Chinese couple who have been in the industrial area for as long as I could remember. I nearly lived off her chili plates during my last pregnancy. Plus she's the only lunch wagon that's available at 5pm in Campbell.

I can eat at Rose's everyday. I am making my way thru her entire menu. Always greeted with a smile and a warm hello. I especially like her shoyu chicken, chili, and eggplant tofu. On certain days will serve meatloaf, excellent! The tuna sandwich is always a favorite of mine. Same goes with the hamburger sandwich. Prices are very reasonable.

Sorry might be jumping around here and there etc in my review...So rose's is a lunchwagon mainly catering to the hard workers in Campbell industrial area. They are mainly Chinese style food. One of the main things here is the price and portions.They are off the main drag just one street over (west) parallel to the main drag.- Mini plates are the go to usually as its basically a regular round plate with 2 choices. Starches are rice, chow fun, chow mein...Now so you know the noodles are nothing fancy just plain no oyster sauce shoyu onions nothing lol. Same chow mein noodle is the noodles for the won ton mein (mein...chow mein...won ton mein get it hehe).Thats one of the only negatives I have for them is the noodles. Just wish had something even green onion or oyster sauce for flavor.So main items usually rotates but have at least about 8 items on the menu. So the mini plate you can choose up to 2 items if you don't know etc. Portions to price again its what is known here. Basically more food than panda and at $6!Won ton mein is not bad, can't beat it for the price. Now the weather is getting cooler its nice to eat and don't have to go far if you're down in that area. Again price at $3.xx something i think small and like $5.xx large. Thin mein noodles, won ton is like a pork hash, some veggies and the home made pork belly char siu.Roast pork is not the gravy style so you know unless states with gravy its the Chinese style roast pork skin on. Char siu home made pork belly so little more on the fatty side.Hamburger steak little on the lean side so little tough texture. Meatloaf was nice and tender fall apart kind with ketchup type sauce on topEggplant is good that sweet savory sauce that I love when you get it at Chinese restaurants.All in all if you hungry and on a budget swing by! You'll be happy and so will you wallet lol.

Good food and selection but you have to get there early before she runs out. I have been enjoying her food for years now. My Favorite on cold or rainy days is her won ton mein. Thin noodles, tasty broth. Coupled with er tuna sandwich, it goes good together. Regular days I go with the tofu eggplant dish and fried fish.

I used to work in Campbell Industrial Park and this lunch wagon was my go to. My favorites were the meatloaf and chili (actually all the food there is excellent). Their meatloaf is the best I've had and the chili is one of the best I've eaten. I used to love the one from a place in Hilo, but it burned down a long time ago and Rose's is the next best. I like it better than the Zippy's one. The taste (Zippy's) changed from the original recipe in the 70's, when we used to go there. I like Rose's so much I'll drive from Pearlridge on Tuesday or Thursday just to get the meatloaf and chili. The price is very reasonable and the lady and gentleman that run the lunch wagon is very nice and friendly.

Best won ton men in a wagon, with char siu and roast pork, made with love... her smile and kindness is contagious!! Not to mention her fried chicken n fried fish, simple plain look fun with pork hash or anything on it!! Just a ways up Across Pictures Plus... Hanua Street, grey wagon under a tree!!

Won ton min is the best... Best $7.00 spent, worth the drive...I tried the egg foo young and the mushroom chicken not the creamy style but the Chinese style and it was Ono...

Delicious food at great rates. I always stop by here when i'm in the area. Try the fried chicken and make sure to get pork hash and the wontons they're all hand made and supa ono. Great service as well, aunty is mayjah kind.
