Romer House Waikiki

Overall decent experience with some flaws as noted below:Pros:-Love the adults only concept. Did not need to be surrounded by screaming kids. -Friendly staff -Bed and bedding is so comfy!-Happy Hour inside was great.-Heated pool was actually pretty nice. Never too crowded. Could be a little warmer and maybe some jets would be nice! -Pretty close to main strip but don't expect any ocean views. Cons:-The shower glass door only covers half the shower. Not sure who designed this but they obviously didn't put much thought. Water falls all over floor and pressure is low. -There is an automatic sensor light switch that goes on in the middle of the night. Even when it was covered, the light still went on from shadows from outside. -If you stay on city side, expect lots of noise and sirens! Apparently when you get a Queen Deluxe room, you get city side (not pool which is quieter. -The pool chairs are uncomfortable and upright. When I want to lounge at the pool, I want to lay down. $100 to reserve a cabana was not worth it.-Inside hallways are very small.-Room was only cleaned once over 4 night stay.

My niece has been here before and was kind to bring me for 2 nights stay for my birthday. This hotel is an adult only hotel. Great ambience, front desk staff was amazing, pool bar service was fabulous and it was a very clean hotel. The location of the Romer house is right in the middle of Waikiki across from the International marketplace. The happy hour at the bar was great!

Book our staycation for a Sunday and Monday night for my wife's birthday in this newly renovated and rebranded hotel in Waikiki, not on the beach. We chose here because we didn't need beachfront and they had a promo.In this simple review, they were clean and a reasonable price. Decent sized rooms with basic amenities. Weird front entrance with no drive up and drop off area. Not sure if we had to park where that would be tho they seemed to have a small parking lot behind the building under the pool. Nice 2nd floor pool and bar area which we did spend some time in.We would come back again as a reasonably priced alternative.

Stayed here with my sister in law during a last minute trip. I normally don't stay in Waikiki as I prefer the countryside however, Romer House was a nice, cozy stay. The hotel is clean, the room we stayed was on the 6th floor and it was clean, smelled fresh, lanai was nice to relax at. Staff is helpful, love the refillable water bottles. I wouldn't mind staying here again. Only thing I did not like was parking. But that's not a reflection of the hotel that's just the area. Location is excellent and within walking distance of shopping, eating & beach.

Loved my stay here at Romer House. The Adults only hotel meant a quiet relaxing pool atmosphere with a great lobby bar and lounge. Staff was very accommodating and personified the Aloha Spirit. Rooms were very roomy and done nicely with a huge lanai. I'd definitely recommend and will most definitely be returning myself.

We did the Expedia bundle (which included flights) which overall is a great deal. This hotel is great value and reasonably priced, especially if you are looking for an adults-only vacation experience.The hotel is clean & newly renovated, they have a great heated deck pool with cabanas, and a fun bar and hotel restaurant (they also gave us free drink vouchers with the room). The hotel fees included beach rentals (towels/umbrellas), which were very helpful for us. The hotel location is walkable to much of Waikiki, although it is not a beachfront hotel if you are looking for that (it's ~20 minute walk, which worked for us). The hotel is located next to the International Marketplace in Waikiki, which has many restaurants as well. A perk we liked were the refillable water bottles and water fill-up station in the lobby. While there is no gym onsite, you do get access to a gym at a nearby hotel, which we found to be very nice facility even if it was a bit out of the way.We did wish that the pool bar stayed open a tad longer (they closed up shop pretty early compared to most hotel poolside bars) and the reception desk can be pretty short-staffed at times, leading to longer wait times if you need assistance from the hotel staff.

I booked 3 rooms for 7 people at this beautiful new hotel and I can tell you that we loved every single things in here. The room and the hotel are pretty clean , fresh smell, the service was excellent. We got free breakfast which included in the package and we thought ehh maybe just only toasts, pancakes or sausage ot muffins.. But to our surprised, the breakfast was very delicious, pretty generous, they made per order, and really high end qualities. We've never seen these kind of breakfast at any other hotels that we have been too. The price for this package from Expedia which included airfares, hotels and breakfast was very reasonable. We will definitely come back again and again

From check in to check out and duration of our stay the entire staff was professional, friendly and very helpful in so many ways. We loved the low key vibe and how close to so many places we wanted-needed to go. The restaurant, Izakaya is wonderful. We really enjoyed the food, selection, service and price point for location was great! We live on Maui but will always come back to stay here from now on. Mahalo nui loa to the entire staff. Not once the room was cleaned by house keeping during our entire four days stay even after we repeatedly ask them to do so. Finally we gave up and settled for new towels but later realized they don't take away the dirty ones! Shower pressure was very low and most of the outlets don't work. Be careful using their bottled soap if you have sensitive skins.
