What an amazing gallery of art and artisan crafts, located on S. Beretania Street, just after Ward Avenue on the mauka side of the street. We were looking specifically for the traditional Japanese Inden deerskin card cases, decorated by intricate lacquer patterns that last a long, long time. This is an exclusive leather craft handed down for thirteen generations within a single family! Absolutely beautiful! There are red and black leather Inden to peruse and enjoy, along with art, jewelry, ceramics, etc. Tusha Buntin was our knowledgeable guide in our exciting visit to this exquisite gallery. Definitely worth checking out! Woo hoo!

If you're looking for one of a kind art and antiques this is the place! They have an extensive collection of Asian & Polynesian art and they're so nice and knowledgeable. I love their collection of sketches by Jean Charlot and Yvonne Cheng! They also have a framing department with really unique moldings.Aisha is a cutie patootie and Kyrsten is a hoot!

I recently picked up my D. Howard Hitchcock oil painting circa 1896. I was extremely satisfied with its restoration and of the amazing results. Not only did they repair, cleaned, and secured the painting, but also, arrested the loss paint and crackled paint. The whole subject came to life! I never did noticed the vibrant colors of the sky, clouds and mountains. My next project is to have a John Chin Young painting restored. Thank you so much Kyrsten and Aisha! Initially, I was intimidated upon entering the gallery with all of its masterpieces on display. However, as soon as I stepped through the doorway, Kyrsten, Tusha, and Mrs. Judy Buntin made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. I highly recommend Robyn Buntin of Honolulu!!!

I came into Robyn Buntin to get a few things framed for my boss, without much clue as to how the process worked or any direction in what I wanted. Aisha was great, she patiently walked me through all the options and sent me an estimate within the hour. It was a little pricy for us and I decided to go to a few other places to compare prices. After doing that I decided to go back and have it done at Robyn Buntin because the quality and customer service was unmatchable. I would highly recommend them. They have fabulous customer service, the most quality products and are a local family run business.

Yup! Amazing service and I went for an antique repair and rather than push the repair option down my throat I was advised otherwise to get an appraisal before committing to a repair. I am very appreciative of the honesty and the respect they gave me. Aisha was amazing! Thank you!

I have purchased many beautiful art pieces over the years from Robyn and his family. It has always been a pleasure to do business with Robyn, his wife Judy, his son Tusha, and his daughter Aisha. I have kept these pieces in my home and enjoyed them immensely. The careful attention to detail, the integrity of the way in which they do business, an the quality of the artwork has always impressed me. I hope to enjoy many more years finding little treasures in this wonderland of treasures.

I experienced excellent service by Aisha when I recently took in a very old Hawaiian print that had been framed by them decades ago and recently given to me. The framing material and hardware needed to be replaced and refreshed. She handled this efficiently, and was also able to provide me with background information about the print, which was very much appreciated since I knew nothing of its significance or value at the time it was gifted to me.

Robyn Buntin Gallery is one of my favorite galleries to visit in Honolulu. Only a short walk from the Honolulu Museum of Art (formerly the Art Academy), it often has special displays to complement exhibits at the Museum. Buntin has an outstanding selection of antiques and artworks from Hawaii and the Pacific. The staff are very knowledgeable, and Krysten in the framing department is truly a gem. She went out of her way to assist us with the cleaning, restoration and framing of several works on paper.
