It's an outlet store, so prices were more affordable than expected. Selection is limited, but if you're looking for swimwear and good deals, it def worth checking out.Customer service was pleasant and helpful.

I don't think I ever have my husband shop unless he knows what he wants and he wants to keep it if you're gonna buy clothes from rip curl make sure you really want what you buy because they they don't refund your money back. You can only exchange and I won't have my husband shop there anymore for sure

If you are looking for beach or some surfing clothing this is the place to look. These is currently a sale going (it seems like there is always something on sale). Come stop by and see what styles in your size you like and what deals they have for you.

I like their clothes, I really do....but recently I am not really sure if I wanna go back any more. I remember Rip Curl gives 10% military discount. I used to shop at Rip Curl very frequently. And the same rule applied to this location as well....This place became more like outlet store since they are doing 30%-40% semi annual sale all the time, year around. Maybe the discount rule changed along the way? I am not sure, but when I asked the staff for military discount, it was straight no. With corona virus, the fitting rooms are closed but I was told I can return items with recipt and tag within 30 days. So I bought 3 items and ended up returning one. They told me they have to create my account to return the item....with your name, phone number etc. It is so funny to me over all these years, I bought so many items from them and they never bothered to create customer profiles. Yet you return one item because they do not offer fitting rooms, they have to keep their eyes on you, to make sure you are not those people who return items all the time. I am not so happy how they just stopped giving discount like they never exsisted in the first place, and how they treat you when you make a return.

Love coming to see the deals they have on their merchandise. I'm always happy with my purchases and always look forward to coming back.

I like the brand, it's got a lot of cute basic outdoor pieces for warm weather. They've got affordable swim wear, tanks, skirts, pants, dresses, and accessories. I was happy to find out they even allowed returns on sale items. I've been into the store a few times these past couple weeks and it's always pretty quiet, but the selection is vast. Staff are polite, not overly helpful or friendly but they walk you through the motions when you check out. Some people prefer to be left alone as much as possible during their shopping experiences so I'd say for those folks, you might have a peaceful experience looking for pieces here.

This is a cute store filled with lots of merchandise to make your day in the sun more enjoyable. I love the variety of items from swim suits to sweaters and jackets. I initially called looking for an anti-series jacket and they had one in my size left. Matt offered to hold it for me while I made my way to the mall. The shop is located in the wing by Old Navy, Tinker Toys and Cinnabon. Definitely park by the Cheesecake Factory or CPK side If you can.

Having a brand new spanking mall in Kapolei, Ka Makani Ali'i, is sweeeeet! There is a plethora of stores and (soon to be) restaurants. I was STOKED that Rip Curl opened, because they have good quality clothes (especially wetsuits, swimwear, and hats- my favs), and the prices are better than some other surf shops. I hate to drive into town and reaaaaaaallly wanted a wetsuit vest and checked out this store. They didn't have my size, so the manager, Anthony, ordered one and it came in within a couple days! Yup, got my vest and surfed today- I can't tell you enough how fabulous their wetsuits are! I don't feel constricted when paddling, AND I stayed super warm (no judge- I get cold in the ocean sometimes). My cousin, a marine biologist, recommended them to me and now I know why. Also, their boardwalk shorts dry faster than any brand thus far (can you say NO chafing and wet car seats). If you are military you can probably wear these into the NEX and other military stores that prohibit 'swimwear' and 'athletic' wear. These shorts look like walking shorts, but are killer board shorts. Sneaky right?!Seriously, the manager is super accommodating and represents Rip Curl well. The staff have always been super helpful and chill whenever I go in as well. They may be a smaller surf store, but the Rip Curl line is pretty solid. Feels like old school surf shops where they actually care about the customer and get to know you. Oh, the day I picked up my vest, I noticed they now carry Carver Skate Boards! Haven't tried Carver Boards YET, but I heard they are good for days when you can't surf. Live Aloha!

I have visited Rip Curl Kapolei several times since they opened and if I could give more than 5 stars, I would! High quality clothing that really lasts and outstanding customer service! I like that their graphic t-shirts are cool, and classy in design. Seems like they are always getting new items in often. Also have a few pair of walking shorts, and the best pair of board shorts I have ever had. My wife is hooked too! I think she has one of everything from Rip Curl. LOL.Our last visit we were helped by store manager Izzy, who was nice enough to recommend several items and pretty much be our personal shopper, happy to get other sizes and bring them directly to the fitting room. So great! Never had a problem with returns, just make sure you bring in the receipt and tags, and no problem! Highly recommend, will definitely be back!

Great selection of various swim wear and gear! Very reasonably priced and helpful staff! So many things on sale! When I come back to Hawaii I will def be visiting this store again!
