Rip Curl

I came into Ripcurl hoping for a nice, relaxing shopping experience, but unfortunately, it was anything but. There was an employee named Nikki who completely ruined it for me and my daughters. From the moment we walked in, she was overbearing, constantly hovering and making comments that came off as condescending. Everything she said felt fake and overly pushy, like she didn't trust us to make our own choices without her input. It was honestly so irritating.I came to shop and enjoy myself, but instead, I felt uncomfortable and rushed the entire time. Nikki's over-the-top demeanor was flat out annoying. My daughters felt the same way, and we all just wanted to leave. What really turned me off, though, was how she treated another employee, I overheard near the register. I was about to purchase something however seeing how she treated her coworker made me not want to buy anything anymore. She spoke to this other girl in such a rude, belittling tone right in front of me. It was completely unprofessional and honestly shocking.It's like she has two personalities: fake nice to customers and rude to her coworkers. That kind of behavior made me feel uncomfortable and honestly made the whole atmosphere unpleasant. I left the store irritated, and I don't plan on coming back. If management sees this, I hope they address her behavior because it's driving customers away.Not a good experience at all.

Awesome surf shop. Full service surf shop just outside Haleiwa proper. East of the bridge, near Volcom and Beach House Haleiwa.The couple of guys working were great. Found a couple of sizes they didn't have on the floor (for my 11yr old daughter). Very knowledgeable on their surf equipment (boards, leashes, bags, pads, you name it). Helped fit my son with a few items.Would recommend this shop for casual/beach clothing and surf gear.

No greeting. Caters to the haoles 10/10 not supporting rip curl anymore , As we are locals when we walked in no one told us hi etc. then when haoles walked in there getting catered to. We have came to rip curl multiple times and bought things many times but it never fails that everytime we come the service here sucks. We decided we won't be back.

Stopped by while waiting for my açaí bowl next door. I was particularly looking for new bikinis and a matching pink leash for my surfboard. They had both! The guy greeted me upon walking in and asked if I was looking for something but I kindly replied no. I wanted to explore on my own. Walked around the store with my son who also was interested in new board shorts to match with his younger brother. Ladies attire on the left side upon walking in and men/kids/board needs to the left. I wasn't stalked nor did I feel uncomfortable. They had Dakine board surfing racks! Very spacious inside and lots of parking in the back or across the street near the beach.

Never before have I stepped into a store and catch such positive vibes. The staff is friendly as heck (pardon my French) and helpful as I'll ever get out. The tall guy with the odd name was specifically helpful and pleasant to talk to. When I am back on the island I will definitely be returning to the store. In fact, I downloaded Yelp just to review this store. They deserve some serious applause. All my love to Rip Curl.

Visited this store and the quality and selection were fantastic! It's kind of like a Volcom store with better quality fabrics. The staff were also SUPER helpful and friendly!

Whoever owns this store should walk in unannounced and see how itfeels to have the employees stare at you..no greeting at all.Happened to me a month ago..and my wife too.

They had exactly what I was looking for! Michelle was friendly and in-the-know, helping me get stuff I needed for an upcoming surf trip. There was another guy there who was equally helpful, making me feel like a rock star. The music was the Guardians of the Galaxy playlist and the store was jamming!! I'll go again, for sure!!!

My family and I have been to this location many times and we love it! The staff is always so helpful, special shout out to the manager Kekoa who rocks!
